"I called them 1 week after order and they said they didn't have it in stock but was getting it that day. 2 weeks later and still have not shipped. They obviously sell products they don't have but their website lies."
"Dropped my bike off on a Sunday. Was told it would be done Thursday. Get a call Wednesday saying it’s ready. Come Thursday go pick up my ride. Crank set was upgraded, discounts were given, and customer service was fantastic. Going to be a returning customer. Fantastic shop for free ride, downhill and all other riding styles. "
"I don’t recommend this place based on my experience. I bought a bike a few days ago, I was in correspondence with Kerry McKoy (President) in which he sent me a link offering a bike for me to buy. I agreed to purchase it and when it finally arrived it was an older model witch scratches and no pedals. I tried to talk to him about the issue but he refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing and put the blame for the situation squarely on me. "
"They have quite a decent store that is stocked well. The guys know bikes but are often rushed. "
"The buying process was painless and informative"
"
I placed an order for two bikes of the same size online. I got an email asking to call them, so I did. I was told that there were “several red flags” when it came to my order.
Apparently, having a billing address thats different from my shipping address is an issue, the fact that I was unable to call from my house (no cell reception) which Kerry told me that he didn’t believe, because “Ive been to Tahoe, I know theres service everywhere”, mind you I live in the Pacific North West (whole different geographic ballgame). He continued to ask about where I live, and work and why my order couldn’t be sent to my billing address. Which is incredibly invasive and inappropriate.
The real icing on the cake was him asking me “if I have Russians in my family”, due to making assumptions about my last name. (Not sure how thats relevant to my order....) Kerry also outright called my order suspicious, and blatantly told me he thought I was trying to steal from him. Which I’m not sure how I would, considering I paid via credit card online(?)
I feel attacked, stereotyped and really disappointed in humanity, all for helping my husband and his friend order a bicycle for a good price online.
It got to the point where my husband got on the phone, (because I was absolutely enraged with my interaction with Kerry) and asked him all of the same questions, which he answered exactly as I did. Only then did Kerry seem “satisfied” that I wasn’t trying to steal these bikes from him.
Save your money and support a legitimate bike retailer, because Bike Bling is a joke. By far the most horrendous customer service experience I have ever had!!
*** he read this review, and emailed and called me, threatening to sue me if I dont take it down
This guy is off his rocker! Makes me deeply concerned that he even has my contact info."
"After much research I decided to purchase a Niner RLT RDO frameset. Kerry from Bike Bling gave me a great deal on a new 2019 frame when I was expecting to get a close-out deal. Also got a great deal on a bottom bracket. Shipping took a bit longer than promised, but no worries as I knew it was coming from the Niner warehouse via Bike Bling prior to coming to me."
"I ordered a kink drifter and when I received it the Manuel and chain guard, reflectors were not in the box. I got in touch with bike bling and was told those things do not come with the bike. Not true I had ordered the same bike from another dealer less that a month before and they came with that one. Rather than admit to a simple mistake they were less than honest and are doing nothing about it except tell me they don't come with those bikes. "
"Found the bike I wanted on BikeBling website for a substantial reduced price than other bike shops or websites.
I ordered but next day I was told that the Niner factory don't have my size but I could get an upgrade for a newer model if I paid the difference, so I agreed and choose the color I wanted. It took 10 days to ship because they ran out of parts (?) when finally shipped, they sent the wrong color, so I had to wait another 10 days and 4 more to be shipped to me. Communication wasn't the best I had to keep calling and emailing to find out the status of my order.
The Good:
Bike was shipped very well packed (sans instructions) but was very easy to put it together, everything seems to be working as it should (went for a test ride yesterday).
I must admit that I did get an very good deal on the bike, (hundreds less than other shops) so after all I got what I wanted at a pretty good discount. Very happy with my new bike :-)"
"I've made several orders with Bike Bling and it's been pretty seamless. Easy to return items and actually have a phone number to call. The one thing that is misleading is when items are not in stock, the website indicates "1-3 days" wait period. This is not true and something their website defaults too. What this means is the item is out of stock and it could be awhile before they get it again depending on which brand it is. I have learned to now call ahead and confirm the item is in stock before placing an online order. Overall, good retailer and will continue to place orders with BikeBling.com. "
"I had been looking at gravel bikes for some time. There were similar deals at Jensen, Bikebling, etc. Bikebling had the build I wanted, so I made the purchase. I did not receive an email confirmation, so I called a couple of days later. After a sales rep helped me, they put me on hold to check the computer history and when we were back on the phone I was speaking with the owner Kerry. He was extremely helpful and honest about the ordered bike (backordered) and time line. After discussing the options he made me a great deal on the 2018 bike I really wanted. He gave me his personal number and email, and was very responsive every time I emailed. The bike came within a week and I couldn't be happier with it. I went over everything. Everything was solid. I've been a wrench in bike shops and ride 9-10 K per year and am competitive. I would recommend. Go through the steps. Be involved. After reading some other reviews, don't expect miracles, but I would say that with any on line experience, and, it's a 2 way street. Kerry was great!

"I will not mentioned his name, because I don’t want him to loose his job, maybe he should consider a career change. Just called to informed them that I received the email confirmation and noticed I was being shipped the wrong part gave him my invoice number, was placed on hold got back on line tells me weren’t able to find the part model I ordered in a very rude way and that the part I was being sent would fit. Nothing he can do about it if I want he can just cancel my order in a very unprofessional matter at this point I’ve been waiting for this part to complete my bike build, have no choice but to settle. Just an FYI from a customer please update your website if you don’t carry the components you have displaced on stock or on Sale remove it, thank you."
"I ordered two (2) Paul Klampers, short pull, via the Bike Bling website. I’ve been waiting to pull the trigger on these for a while, as they are a bit pricey, but i’ve Saving my pennies and am super psyched! After waiting over one week and receiving nothing, I call and am told my parts are not in stock but should be arriving at their facility the following week (during ordering, the fact that the parts were not in stock was never communicated to me). The shipping delay was NEVER communicated to me before I asked.
So I wait an additional week, and my package finally arrives— in a rather beat-up USPS Priority box, parts packaging floating loosely inside, no packing slip. The condition of the parts boxes appears OK... but upon further inspection, the wrong parts were sent (long pull instead of short pull). The Paul packaging was clearly (and accurately) labeled “long pull”, however, Bike Bling’s own applied label was incorrect. So, I call them up again— am told these things happen, thanks for my patience, they will provide an RMA number and shipping label so I can return the incorrect parts. I am told I will “definitely” be receiving a call from the parts buyer no later than the next day, to inform me of availability of my replacement parts.
You guessed it— no call from the parts buyer after a couple days. I call again and say “please, I just need to know if you are going to send me what I ordered— if not, let’s just cancel this transaction and I’ll buy local.” I am told the correct parts will arrive at their facility in two days, and will be shipped to me same day. I tell them I appreciate their help (meanwhile, I’ve shipped back the incorrect parts), and look forward to receiving my parts by the end of the week.
Again, you guessed it, no package by the end of the week. I call on Saturday to find the status of my order, and am told by a delightful (not really) young man “yeah, we are still waiting to receive your parts”. What?! I try to politely tell him that I’ve waited weeks now for this order, that I am frustrated by the lack of communication and accountability on their part— to which he explains to me “yeah, banks and post offices aren’t open on the weekend”(??!!). Young Einstein then tells me “ you’ll have to call back Monday”. I say “I guess I’ll call back Monday”. He says “Cool...”. I respond, “No, not cool...”
Moral of the story, I should have just ordered from my local shop. I’m never ordering anything from Bike Bling again... lesson learned!

"I ordered a 2017 Pinarello GAN S at the beginning of 2018 (40% below MSRP). This store was pretty much the only one claiming to be able to deliver the bike. The bike came reasonably pre-assembled, i.e. attach seat/+post / handlebar and front wheel. It was delivered free via UPS (signature required), packaged in the original Pinarello box. No scratches or dents. The assembly instructions for the seat/post were missing but it wasn't that hard to figure it out with a bit of common sense. Torques are all noted on the bike.
Their ordering process could be a bit improved, though. When I ordered the bike it said (shipping in 1-3 days) - it took 11 days since they had to order it. I called 3 times to get a status update (they're very responsive on the phone, I never had to wait).
Bottom line - 5 stars since I got the bike that I wanted at the best price. When I order such things on the Internet (instead of going to the local shop) I can wait a few days and do a bit of assembly."
"I think the main issue with Bike Bling is communication. I've had mixed results with Bike Bling. When things are out of stock, you unfortunately are not notified and just kept waiting, sometimes forever (I do have an order that's been pending since 2014). If you are lucky and your order is in stock, then you'll get a great deal, and shipping is pretty prompt. So, my rules of engagement are as follows. If I find a deal and not dependent on getting it by a certain date (i.e. not buying something like a birthday gift or a Christmas gift), or need it immediately (i.e. in dire need of lube or a replacement part), I will consider purchasing from Bike Bling. Otherwise, I look elsewhere at the vendors that I have had good experiences with. It's a shame because a lot of the issues with Bike Bling can be handled with prompt communication. For items out of stock or orders being delayed, a simple notification to the customer goes a long way."
