"I am satisfied with my purchase. It was a good price, and I received my order as expected. The only catch was the need to confirm my order by phone - that usually means they want to sell you something else. They did try sell me a "better than factory" battery and some SD memory, but when I declined they promptly processed my order without any further pressure, so not a big deal. Would buy from them again if their price was the best."
"I ordered this item on May 12. It is now May 23, and the order has still not been processed. I e-mailed and called several times. I was finally told the product was Out of Stock, and on Back Order, even though it clearly stated in was In Stock when I ordered it. Then the company was closed for several days for some unofficial Holiday. My credit card was charged, but I have no idea if or when I will ever receive my order.

I got notify by email that label created on Wed and when I called for explanation, I was told I could cancel the order. Please if there is a delay in order it is better to let customer know up front and not say it's shipped but there is not update in system yet. I would have been much happier with the truth.

"Received sales pitch trying to sell me an extra battery, blatantly lying, telling me the standard battery lasts for 30 minutes. Gave me no warning that your shipping address needs to be the same as your billing address - delayed shipping by one week. Unfriendly customer service representative tempted me to cancel my order. Took about one week from NY to California, once shipped. "New" camera had grease marks all over LCD screen (looks like someone fried chicken right next to it). Complimentary lens cleaner and cloth were more useful than anticipated (wouldn't use them on a lens without blowing dust off first, because it would scratch the lens -> more money for Central Digital). Same could not be said of free bag, it is bulky and does not have special compartments for an SLR-shaped camera. I would prefer the bag was not sent, now I have an extra bag in my room that I do not need. Very cheap price, very much hassle. Would not recommend."

"I ordered my new Canon G11 in prep for a trip to Ireland. I had a few days to get used to the camera before leaving for Europe on April 24th. During the trip the camera started acting up (over exposed pix, strange images on the LCD...)The problems were intermitent throughout the whole trip. When I returned from vacation on May 7th, I reported the problem to Central Digital and asked how I return it to them for a replacement. They stated that since the camera worked "out of the box" and since it was past 7 days, that I would need to send it back to Canon for a repair. I spoke with a supervisor and got no where. Their return policy is unfair and deceptive. Buyer beware!!"
"It took much longer than I was told it would and the customer service person was very rude. Also, it would have been nice to see the bag that comes along-with the camera before hand since it is really worthless and useless. I don't know if I will shop with them again."
"I was very satisfied with my purchase at Central Digital. The camera was exactly what I ordered and it came right on time as promised. Although, the sales person tried to sell me a longer life battery and a memory stick, by claiming that the camera would only take 4 pictures, at a much higher price than what I could purchase locally. I guess that is his job and I'm ok with that, but he shouldn't try to tell me the camera would only take 4 pics when it actually took 20 when first used. All in all, I'm pleased with the product and service."

"It was not a good experience at first. I ordered a Canon 5D Mark II from the company due to its appealing price. The next day, a customer representative called, trying to sell me another battery because "the original battery coming with the camera only lasts 35min", as he said. Annoyed by this type sale tricks, I decided to cancel the order.
What surprised me is that two days later, the company called me again to apologize for what has happened. They also provided me some additional discount for the camera and some accessories.
I hope my bad impression of the company is just due to a rare incident, and the company can keep its service at highest standard, like the guy claimed in the phone " making each customer satisfactory is the goal of the company""
