"The package arrived on June 15 (I paid the expedited shipping). The outer box (containing the HK unit) was a little beat up, and opening the inner box I was concerned this package was previously opened (maybe someone returned it and it was repackaged??). The device is setup and works. I have used this vendor before (ibuydigital) to order a camera which works well. If you are ordering from them (and I think you should) just be proactive and call after placing the order to confirm everything is OK - do this ESPECIALLY if your shipping and billing address are different to avoid delays.
Anyhow, I have my concerns about the HK box and that it looks like it was previously opened, but the product works so that is what matters!

I ordered a new Epson 8500UB with next day air delivery. The projector I received was in an opened box which appeared to have water damage from at least a cup of something that looked like coffee. When I talked to their customer service they told me I could ship it back to them next day air and they would refund me the shipping charges. The charges would have been several hundred dollars. I checked back with them regarding the charges and the customer support person now said I had to ship it back ground. They have now shipped me another unit, but this time they are shipping it to me GROUND. It has been over two and a half weeks and I do not have my projector. THEY SUCK!"

Honestly I was nervous that this was one of those hokey, take-your-money-and-run kind of online companies. However, I called and asked some hard questions and they answered them truthfully. Some cameras (Canon for example) are sold as grey market (and he admitted to that) but others such as Sony are strictly U.S. new products. I recommend at least asking.

I bought a Sony HDR-CX350V and it delivered quickly and exactly as promised.

I did call them, as their email requested, to expedite processing of the order. The guy tried to get me to buy an extra battery but I said no and he kind of gave me a hard time. But I told him that it was my second camera of this series and already had an extra battery. He then stopped trying to sell me on it.

I understand that they make good yield on accessories as do ALL retail companies and therefore I don't hold it against them. They do sell them for a good price.

If they or any company prolongs the order to push accessoried then walk away. One annoying conversation is acceptable though.

I would buy from them CENTRALDIGITAL.COM again. "
