Yesterday I received a mail from Dbuys and asked me to call them to confirm the order. Just now I contacted them and Scott, the representative, helped me to confirm the shipping address and ask if I had any other requirements. Polite and coutrious.

"I purchased a Sony DV camcorder and accesories from dbuys.com and received a battery charger that had been previously opened and a camcorder that, at some point prior to being packaged and shipped to me, had suffered a serious blow for which dbuys.com used packing tape to put the box back together with. I found this interesting considering dbuys will not take back open products. So the rude folks at dbuys "customer service" were contacted and arrangements were made to have the products picked up and replaced. Fed Ex was sent out the next day to pick up the products in question and shortly thereafter we recieved a new charger in an unopened package. A week or so after the charger arrives, still no camcorder. Dealing with the "customer service department" is not a pleasant experience with dbuys, but they said the camcorder would be shipped the following Monday. By Friday, still no camcorder. Called back and was told again that the camcorder would be sent Monday. Guess what, thats right they did not ship the camcorder. Fortunately, I was purchasing this through my employer who uses purchase orders. Since we had not received the product, we had not paid for the product. Not until the billing department contacted us asking for payment did we finally receive satisfaction. When asked why we had not payed for the products we ordered, we told them we had not recieved the products. The billing department was shocked to hear this and was able to do what we were unable to do for close to a month. The next day after speaking with the billing department the camcorder arrived. I selected dbuys.com based on the relatively good rating found on this site and I was very disappointed by the service that this company provides. If you have the option, go with someone else and if not, hope that you never have to deal with their lousy "customer service". "

"I ordered a Sony DCR-VX200 with a Mack 4 years warranty. I was told by my "account manager" Douglas that my order had been processed and that the items with ship out that night "most likely". Well, this afternoon I recived an e-mail from the billing department saying my credit card charge was coming up "declined".
Needless to say, I'm quite anooyed by this. I don't know why my card isn't working, but the sales rep Douglas told me it had gone through and that the order would likely ship out that night.
Basically, I like the prices and I thought I liked the service, but apperently at least one of their employees has a hard time telling the truth."
