"I ordered an Asus 1000H on the 11th and had it by the 13th, excellent so far. Typing on the unit revealed that the right end of the keyboard was loose and that text would leap to the top like page up had been pressed. I got an RMA from them and shipped the unit back. They had it back on the 20th. Without sending me an email, phone call or letter they decided to return it to stock and charge me 20% restocking fee when I stated that I wanted it repaired or exchanged. I called them on September 3rd to inquire as to the statuse and that is when I found out what they had done. The keyboard was physically loose and yet they said that it was physically tested. Asus has acknowledged that this was a defect addressed prior to August. The notebook was defective yet they charged a 20% restocking fee and then resold it without letting me know what was happening"

"I ordered a 4g EEE 701 from Directron in January (I had also ordered a MSFT keyboard from them the year prior, worked fine). It was shipped without issue via UPS and arrived in fine working condition.
I can't say I have any qualms with ordering from Directron again."
"I purchased a custom built system from this company for over $1500. I was told that system would be tested before it was shipped. When the system arrived I could not do something as simple as load windows xp on it. After spending over 20 hrs on the phone with the support department of the several of the manufacturer's of parts in the sytem, I was told directly by the motherboard manufacturer that I need to send the system back to the vendor. That they obviously did not test the sytem.
After delivering it back to the company they claim that there is nothing wrong with the system when I have pictures and documented support sessions that prove that it is. They tried to make me pay a 20% restocking fee. Currently I have disputed the charges with my bank and am trying to warn people who read these reviews to think carefully about any interaction with this company."

I ordered a power supply from Directron late on Friday afternoon. It was almost 4:00 pm here, and almost 3:00 pm there. I figured that my order would be processed on Monday. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a shipping notice and UPS tracking number 4 hours later!
I had become unhappy with the merchant with whom I previously did the bulk of my computer hardware business. I think that I have found a much better one in Directron!"
"Rec'd 2 drives from Newegg and both were damaged. Decided to order one from Directron instead. Ordered hard drive Thursday night rec'd it on Monday at 10am. I had also ordered a replacement drive from Newegg and it had not even shipped out before I rec'd the one from Directron. Cancelled the Newegg order and ordered another from Directron! Great company and fast shipping. I have plced several other orders and no problems with any of them.

"Realy a good selection from this store, and the website is easy to navigate. The JBL computer speakers I bought sound great (especially compared to the speakers that came with my PC). The price was very reasonable. The response speed was outstanding! Ordered & paid for the speakers on July 22 - UPS delivered the speakers on July 23! I will definitely shop with Directron again."
"Good product selection, good prices, however, if you need your order in a hurry the burden is on you to make sure that they have everything they need in order to ship your order. I requested 2nd day air but my shipping destination was different than my credit card. If I hadn't followed up with their shipping department to find out if that was going to be a problem it would have been several days before my product would have been shipped. Unbeknownst to me my shipment was on hold until they could verify that my credit card addressed matched another form of ID such as my driver's license. If you are in a hurry, be sure to call them about your order. Just because you haven't heard from them doesn't mean everything is alright."
"The only reason I keep ordering from this place is because they have better prices than some websites. Unfortunately, their customer service and shipping are horrible. I ordered the items on the 8th, and nothing was shown as backordered. BUT, the next day, one item is backordered. Was told the item would ship by the 10th. Nothing. Was then told the item would ship on the 11th because the item was in. Nope. The items didn't ship till the 14th and received on the 15th. Their customer service is lacking in genuine concern as well. Today is the 18th and I just got the shipping and tracking information by email!!! Highly unsatisfied."
