"I received my Mac G4 battery today and it works surprisingly good. It is better than I expected. It took a little over two weeks to get it back and I am happy with the service so far. They have such bad feedbacks here. I've nerver called them after I place an order so I don't know if they are answering phone calls or not, but it worked out just fine for my battery."

"THIS IS A FAKE COMPANY!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I WISH I HAD READ THE RATINGS ON TIME, BEFORE I ORDERED MY BATTERY.
I PLACED MY ORDER SOMETIME IN OCTOBER 2005. THE PROFFESSIONAL LOOKING WEBSITE ADVERTISES A SEVEN DAY TURN AROUND, IT TOOK ABOUT THREE WEEKS TO FINALLY GET MY BATTERY, I WAS HAPPY UNTIL I INSTALLED THIS NEWLY REFILLED BATTERY. GUESS WHAT, IT DID NOT HOLD CHARGE. MY BATTERY THAT I SENT WAS IN BETTER SHAPE. I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES WITHOUT ANY LUCK. FINALLY THEY SENT ANOTHER BATTERY, I NOW HAVE TWO BATTERIES, WELL, THIS TIME IT WAS A DIFFERENT MODEL AND IT DID NOT FIT MY LAPTOP. I CALLED AGAIN SEVERAL TIMES UNTIL I GOT SOMEONE TO ANSWER THE GHOST TELEPHONE. THEY TOLD ME TO SENT THE TWO BATTERIES BACK AND THEY WOULD OVERNIGHT THE RIGHT ONE AS SOON AS THEY GOT THEM BACK. THEY RECEIVED THE BATTERIES AND THE THIRD ONE NEVER CAME. THIS WAS ALREADY MID-MARCH. I CALLED AGAIN SEVERAL TIMES, AND ONE LUCKY DAY, THEY ANSWER THE PHONE.
AFTER MANY LIES AND LOT OF CALLS THEY AGREED TO REFUND MY MONEY. BY THE END OF APRIL I GAVE UP AND STOPPED CALLING THEM.
TODAY IS "5 DE MAYO" AND FINALLY RECEIVED A CHECK FOR $59.00 FROM EBATTERY, INC. 5589 BROOKS ST. UNIT B MONTCLAIR, CA 91763
I THANK THEM FOR THE CHECK, I HOPE IT DOESN'T BOUNCE, BUT I AM STILL MISSING MY BATTERY, THEY NEVER SENT IT, I ALREADY THASHED MY LAPTOP.

"I ordered the battery "refill" on 3/10. They acknowledged receipt of the old battery on 3/17. The website advertises 7 day turnaround. I finally got a battery back from them on 4/14, over a month from when I initially placed the order. The battery they sent was a different model number from my original battery and was DOA. I sent them an email on 4/17 describing the problem and requesting a replacement. To date (5/2/06) this email has never been acknowledged, much less replied to. I entered the RMA request on the website after they ignored my email. Their website also advertises that they will send another battery in the case of a DOA, but only if the order is less than 30 days old. It took them longer then 30 days to send the first one, so this is an empty offer. Finally they sent another mailing label on 4/24 & sent the dead one back. So far I have been without my battery for almost two months and the clock is still running. They don't answer the phone. They don't respond to email. They do, however, charge your credit card as quickly as possible. Customer service from these guys is a big fat zero. As it stands right now, they have my money and they have my battery and I have nothing. Update: I finally received a working battery on 5/6. The only communication I have seen from them is their response below to this review. The working battery failed after 7 weeks. Made warranty claim. Did not receive replacement for another 3 1/2 weeks. Replacement was also bad. Filed another warranty claim on 7/27, still waiting for a replacement as of 8/15. I really wanted this to work, but it has been ongoing now for 5 months and I still don't have a good battery.

Update: Another battery received 8/30. No good on receipt, totally dead in two weeks. Warranty claim 9/14. Called them 9/25 after no response. Received yet another battery 10/12. this one actually works!!

Bottom line: They are extremely slow. Their quality is poor. They will keep trying until they get it right if you are patient enough. Order placed on 3/10/06, good battery received 10/12/06.

"I wished I checked resellerratings.com before I purchase a laptop battery from this fake company. Battery exchange sent to me does not hold charge. I sent them emails and filled out they're RMA form online taht went unanswered till now (april 24,2006). Dont believe they website claiming their refilled battery is better than a non oem battery. Ijust purchase a replacement battery and it's better than I expected. Please do not buy from this company, they have many complaints. They should change their name to Batteryriff-off.com. I'm surpise that they respond to complaints here but they coud'nt repond to emails and RMA request."

"In a nutshell: still NO customer service and very SLOW order fulfillment.
My experience was in line with some of the other reviews. First, note that I did finally get my refurbished battery back and it seems to be working. So what's the problem? This company has the worst customer support I've personally ever encountered via web purchases. Which is to say: none. I tried their 800 number several times (voicemail hell); left a message twice, no return answer; emailed twice, no response. The only response I did get from the company were automated emails and the delivery of my order in 5 weeks...hardly the 7-10 day turnaround I expected. And if they were a responsible company and had customer service problems, then post something to that effect on the website. Honesty CAN be a policy. Based on my transaction in Feb/Mar 2006, you will be be taken for a slow, slow ride with this outfit.

"I ordered two batteries for a Thinkpad T-20. One was DOA. The other lasted one deep cycle. I contacted them and sent the batteries back in January. I got the "batteries received" auto-email and then nothing. Repeated e-mail went unanswered. I tried phoning their cust service phone number listed in their e-mail -- it was disconnected. I tried phoning sales -- it rolled over to voice mail. Frankly I thought they were out of business until I saw messages here from March 2006. In the end, I worked with my credit card company and disputed the charge and got my money back. This company is seriously broken."

"I placed an order online for a laptop battery almost 4 weeks ago. I received an e-mail order notification, but it did not state as estimated ship date, only the order information and shipping address. I e-mailed them on 3/10 to inquire about my order, but they did not return my e-mail. Then I called on Monday 3/13 and got a voice message telling me to leave my name and number. Again, no reply. I finally got through to someone at 6:39pm EST (they are in California). I asked about the status of my order, the young man put me on hold for 5 to 10 minutes then came back and said, those batteries were on back order but they are in now, you'll have it by this Friday. Friday came and went and still no battery. On Monday March 20th I called again and got a young woman. She put me on hold for about 5 minutes and said that my order hadn't shipped yet, but they'd Fed Ex it out and I should have it in the next few days. It is now Wednesday evening and still no lap top battery. I do not feel that the customer service reps are even looking into my invoice when I call. If they were a reputable company, they would have my information at their fingertips and verify that the invoice I am inquiring about, matches my name. But they never asked me to verify my name or any information on the order. If I do not have the laptop battery by Friday, I will contact my credit card company on Friday to disput the laptop battery fee. I will also be making a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau. At no time was I given an e-mail update of the status of my order and I was lied to by the company's customer service representatives."

"I purchased or had a battery for my Gateway SOLO 2150 refilled. I recieved it back yesterday March 19, 2006. I followed all the directions as far as conditioning the battery and I am extremely surprised and happy at the results. I let the computer sit running and 8 hours later it started beeping showing there was 2% power left in the battery. I was sceptical to say the least after reading some of the reviews prior to purchase. I am 100% happy so far and would not hesitate to order again. "

"I have had a return request go unanswered for more than two months with this company. The "refurbished" battery they sent for my PowerBook never did hold more than 15 minutes' charge — not even after "reconditioning" it 15 times.

Now I'm out my $95 (including shipping), and I can't get these guys to send me an RMA -- not to mention credit my charge card for the refund. I've called, I've responded to an e-mail address a month ago. Nothing.

If they're too busy to handle returns, well, it's not exactly what they've promised on their Web site. It might constitute fraud. Working through the mails, that could be serious.

I hope there's some action soon, before legal remedies are all that I have left.

" I was generally very satisfied with my battery. I have an HP Pavilion N5475. I normally get between 3 to 3 1/2 hours runtime with a brand new battery (this is my 3rd battery for this notebook). My refilled battery gets about the same. I didn't really notice any longer runtime. It did take around a month for them to get my battery back to me, but I felt the savings in the price offset the wait.

I will say this, it took my notebook about 5-6 days of charging and run-down (several times each day, too) before the reported run time was correct. They mention this in the docs you get. If you decide to try them out, keep this in mind. I'm sure there are a number of people who don't follow the directions and are disappointed. I still will run my PC right down to 0% power before finally shutting it off. My battery has been running fantastic and I consistantly have 3 hours of run time, so I feel like they really lived up to their promise.

" You're on your own if you shop here. BUYER BEWARE!! I've erased most of my feedback to make it brief and clearer. My exchange battery was ordered Feb 8 and proved to be defective. I returned it only to have them send it back (reset and still don't work). I finally got a call through on March 13 and they said they would send another one. No battery in sight yet and no e-mail saying they sent one. The battery is warrantied for one year and it may take all of this to get it replaced. They are extremely difficult to contact. March 20th and no battery! I have now called again and they said they would send it right out. Received it the 23, charged it 5 times as required ,and it read 9.03 on the first charge and it reads 9.03wh on the fifth recharge. My laptop is a thinkpad t23 with windows 2000. Also the first battery I bought from them worked and is still working fine. That's why I tried the exchange program. I've been disapointed ever since, mostly with the service. It's horrible! It's now March 30th and they called and left a message to send the battery back and they would refund my money and old battery. This part was ok but then they said after that "there's no since sending another battery because it probably wouldn't work anyway." I didn't quite know exactly what they were implying, but I wasn't exactly pleased. So, it looks like I've been chosen to be put on their 'ignore' list. THAT's A NICE!! April 14th and still waiting for feedback. It's now May 1st and still no satisfaction. Also I'd like to note at this time the Better Business Bureau contacted them a month ago and they haven't gotten an answer. Well it's May 25 and they finally answered the BBB's request but all they did was say their sorry and don't know why things got so bad. They tell me that they have cleaned out some personal and they are looking into the problem. How long have they had a problem? Check the dates on some of these complaints. So, in other words here's your money and get lost. Sure I got a check from them but after 4 months I was hoping for a working battery. After all this is what they advertised on their site. The batteries they send out haven't been checked out, aren't charged, and they're not even sure they'll work when they arrive. If you buy from them, don't plan on getting any real good customer relations because they don't have to deal with internet people. It's not like it used to be, friend. They don't and won't go the distance to please the customer."

"Third purchase from batteryrefill.com - turn-around was about 1 month, with three e-mail updates during cycle. Battery went into HP Omnibook 800CT and after a initial cycles ran 5-1/2 hours during rundown test, about 50% longer than ever seen with good factory battery. Physical fit was nearly perfect (difficult to achieve with this battery configuration.)"

"I wish I had been aware of this website and had read reviews of this company before now.

On November 1st of 05 I placed an order for their battery exchange program. I found them searching the web for alternatives to brand new and expensive batteries for my Apple Powerbook. In the days that followed I received the label from them, and I sent the battery in.

Once I did receive the "re-filled" battery, I followed the instructions regarding the "training" of the battery and found it did not live up to their claims of having even longer life than brand new manufacturers' batteries. I made them aware and asked for suggestions (I should've demanded a refund, and wiped my hands of the whole thing). They said I could return it and they'd send me another.

I received another label and sent them back the faulty battery. I received an automated email claiming they recieved my battery on Dec. 23rd. I called, emailed and received no response until finally receiving a phone call on Jan 20th with an apology and assurances that the battery was being shipped out. When asked, they agreed that I should receive the battery in a few days.

It is now Feb. 8th and I still do not have the battery or any further explanation. Again, I've emailed, called, left messages--throughout these three months I've called probably 15 times and I'd guess a live person has answered probably 2 times.

This is the worst experience I've had as a consumer. It's my experience that this company re-defines "fly-by-night" operation. And I'm no longer sympathetic to the "we're in the process of moving" excuse. Seriously, how long does it take to move a couple of people and computers? If the operation is larger, then why is there no customer service to speak of.

In short, my experience is they have an inferior product and even worse communication/customer service.

"They have righted their wrong.

They are a legitimate company after all.

I appreciate that they went out of their way to correct their mistake and even changed their return procedures.

I wouldve gone with them even if they had told me it would take 2 months because its such a deal.

PRIORITY #1:
What they need to do though to eliminate complaints like this in the future is to assure the customer that they arent getting ripped off.

Reassure them that it is going to take some time because they have limited staff. and most importantly make sure you get the transaction completed within the 60 day period or somehow reassure them that you will refund their money even if it goes beyond that. Everyone's number one fear here is getting ripped off. I am certain most people would not complain if those fears were put to rest.

Also, I have to consider what razor thin profit margins they must be running on to refill a battery for 42 bucks. Human labor is expensive especially in california.
