"Even the company delivers a note telling you how to revive flowers, not really what you want when its mothers day, you want flowers to look nice on arrival, Zoe unable to help me as my elderly mother wasn't able to provide photo of wilted flowers(she doesn't have mobile) and I live 2 hours away! They obviously have to deliver from a long way away, use local , wouldn't use eflorist again"
"Our son who lives in Dubai ordered flowers from eFlorist UK for his sister's 40th birthday to be delivered on 24th February 2018. They were not delivered on the day, and nothing was heard from eFlorist, my daughter-in-law tried to chase up the matter from Dubai, but was unable to contact them.
My wife eventually got through after a long wait and spoke to James in customer services on 6th March. After tracing the order he said they weren't delivered because they had been DAMAGED IN TRANSIT and gave the impression that was the end of the matter. My wife however demanded a replacement that they agreed to supply.
How can a company be allowed to operate in this manner ?

"thought I would give them a go.. NO WAY DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE
Called Customer Service 3 times from Australia, no answer, Customer Care closed half hour early.
Sent 3 emails - no answer
Website said "if ordered within 16 hours, flowers would be delivered on this date"... so plenty of time.
Flowers Have Yet NOT ARRIVED more than 24 hours later and no response.???
Request a Refund."
"I would not trust these so called florists to delivery a pee up in a brewery they make excuses for thing not arriving in time when they are ordered in plenty time for a special day, then they use excuses of there timing on the website to blame the customers for their shoddy service."
"It's a shame I have to even give 1 star to be able to write a review, or should I say complaint, as I would much rather be able to give no stars!
My husband ordered flowers to be delivered to me on Valentine's Day.
My delivery arrived and I opened the box up and wasn't happy immediately to see the flowers lying flat in the box with the water from the bag around the bottom of the flowers soaked into the box and the card from my husband soaked, it wasn't really what I'd call a card, pleased he had gave me an actual card aswell as. There was a leaflet inside the box stating that any discoloured petals are normal and to just remove them to reveal a fresh bud underneath, never had to do that in my life they are fresh flowers and should look fresh from the very start. Once I actually took the outer cellophane and tissue paper off is when I realised how terrible they actually were.
The flowers were droopy and the roses were brown round the edges, I put them into water but no amount of water was going to save these.
I had to ask my husband how much he had paid for them! When he said £28 my reply was that I wouldn't have even expected to see them for even £10! I know he wasn't going to buy something that looked so crap but when I seen the picture advertised on eFlorist website and compared it with what was delivered they were worlds apart.
eFlorist were emailed and a basic reply was sent back that somebody would be in touch, nobody was.
I then put my complaint along with pictures on their Facebook page and it was apparent at that point how many other people were complaining too.
After still waiting for a response from eFlorist I sent them a private message on Facebook, all I got was answers skirting round the actual issue and was told to wait 24 hours because the flowers had to be given a chance to bloom, the flowers were not going to bloom and never have bloomed! We were even told at one point that after a good drink of water the flowers should be looking more like the picture that was viewed at the time of ordering, never heard something so ridiculous.
I told them I had waited 24 hours and showed them another picture, that's when it got round to being told it can take 24-48 hours and to contact them in another 24 hours time if I still wasn't happy, I told them that I still wouldn't be happy in another 24 hours and that flowers are supposed to be fresh and look amazing on the day you get them, not days after or battling to complain and spoiling people's days and occasions. My husband was also e mailed back just with the same response I was getting, basically wait, in other words they didn't want to acknowledge the fact there was a problem and definitely don't want to give money back
The following day I went to message them to say I still wasn't happy and show a picture of the horrendous looking flowers and that's when I found out they had blocked me! Went on to their Facebook page and had also been blocked from there because I could see other people were still able to comment.
They delete comments and block people on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
There's so many complaints online about them, I don't know how they are still trading and taking peoples money, there's even a Facebook group dedicated to how bad eFlorist is.
My husband emailed them to say he wants his money back as quick as they took it and he's had no reply. I have put a post on Twitter and I have also sent an email to Trading Standards. I will also write this complaint on every platform online that is available for reviews and complaints.
I am gutted that Valentine's Day had to be, and still is, tarnished with their poor product, misleading advertising and battling to get money back. They are a disgraceful company who don't care about their customers.
I suggest that unless you want to make people cry with your gestures then you should AVOID eFlorist like the plague!"
"THE FLOWERS MY FIANCE GOT FOR VALENTINES DAY ARE THE WORST SHE HAS EVER RECEIVED. I BOUGHT WHAT I THOUGHT WAS A FULL BUNCH OF 100 SWEETHEART ROSES AND GOT 100 HALF DEAD SPRAY ROSES. THE COMPLAINTS ARE ALLOVER FACEBOOK, SEE FOR YOURSELF! AVOID."
"I honestly do not know how this website still has business. They cannot guarantee the delivery date, even though you get to pick one. This misses the purpose of a flower delivery service. Also flowers are delivered through Royal Mail (?)
They are one of the cheapest flowers services, which is why I decided to go for them, but it wasn't worth it at all, as it has ruined the surprise of my girlfriends's first day at work. I cannot take that back. Please do yourself a favor and do not EVER use this company. Pay the £5 - £10 more and go for something else. Trust me on this."
"I ordered flowers for a colleague, choosing the delivery date as Tuesday 19th December: they did not arrive and now my colleague will return to work with dead flowers (if they arrived at all!) Eflorist tell me choosing a delivery date does not guarantee delivery and there is nothing they can do: no refund, no apology!"
"I ordered 2 Christmas arrangements (Festive Basket and North Pole) both priced at £40 each. Both arrived on the day requested but neither were as described by e-florist on their site. I raised a complaint by phone and also by email only to receive a stock response of 'substitutions are within parameters deemed acceptable'. I disagreed and replied only to be sent back another stock response telling me to water my flowers regularly, changing the water in the vase!!! My flowers were arranged, not in a vase. Again another stock response not dealing with my complaint which primarily was that in a festive basket described as a ruby-red festive arrangement adorned with holly, berries and finished with a lovely ribbon. How on earth can a permissable substitution be tulips, gerbera, lillies and carnations (not in red) no holly, berries or ribbon. The photos I sent them clearly showed this. I'd say the arrangement was an every day arranged basket. It was and is not anything like the festive basket I ordered. Had this been all that was available by your chosen local florist why not contact me to see if this substitution would be acceptable. I will not use e-florist again and I would recommend that everyone avoids and finds another online florist that does care about how they are represented by their florists and to their customers."
"Up until this occasion I have been "reasonable" satisfied with the quality of product and delivery, however, the picture shown and the flowers delivered were not even a close match. The quantity of flowers was disgraceful green fill formed much of the bouquet , the and the response from eflorist when I advised them with attached photos was dismissive and condescending. It's the last time I go with these con artists and would recommend Marks and Spencer for quality and professionalism for around the same price. They were even delivered outside of my advised date. "
"I ordered flowers for a funeral a week before the due date. I had picked carefully from their online pictures. On the morning of the funeral the flowers were not delivered to the funeral directors and I had to chase them up. Appalling. When I did see the flowers the only way they resembled the online picture as that they were flowers in a basket. Customer service hopeless. They just parrot pathetic little platitudes. I would just like to be told that yes they made a mistake and that they will endeavour that this will never happen again. However they are happy with the product they sent so that's ok then. Everyone do yourself a favour. Avoid this company. "
"BEWARE! NOT AS ADVERTISED!
Awful service, unhelpful, 'ring back' attitude on the customer service end.
I ordered some flowers for a special occasion, rang up to query why they hadn't turned up by 5pm on the date specified 4 days ago & was told that Royal Mail deliver them & this could be upto 2 days from the date that was chosen. This was written only in small letters on the confirmation e-mail after I had paid.
What is the point in it being delivered up to 2 days late in the nature of this business? With no previous warning?
Utterly disappointed. Would obviously never use this company again & would advise the same to anyone else. There are plenty of other options & only wish I had chosen one of them.
Edit"
"Flowers dead and not as described
Customer services are awful
Reported to trading stsndards "
"Ordered bouquet online and included note saying something special but note was not delivered so recipient had no clue who 8it was from. Phoned eFlorist but the reaction was totally unsympathetic and they said there had been a card under the address label (not true) but a card inside with the flowers costs extra (not explained on website but ridiculous anyway!) This caused me a lot of stress because of the importance of this particular delivery - not helped by receiving an email day before delivery worded to Recipient's name and not mine so I stayed in all day in case they were delivering to me by mistake. What a total nightmare of a company. Who else charges extra to include card in with flowers? Who else can't sort email system so it just says Dear Customer if they can't use buyer's name. AVOID unless you enjoy stress and poor service!"
"Received brown wilted flowers, asked for a replacement, I even offered to pay P&p completely refused and sent me an email stating I should take off the brown petals. If I did I would have been left with just the stem. Waste of money. "
