"Ordered a hard drive to be shipped to my work address. They wouldn't ship to an address not on file with my credit card company. It's against my credit company's policies to store a second address, so I was told they had to ship it to my home address. UPS couldn't deliver when I get home from work, so after 2 failed delivery attempts I called to see if they could hold it at the facility. The UPS facility closes 1 hour before UPS stops delivering. Called SuperBiiz to see if they could reroute it to the business address. They did, but charged me $11 (supposed UPS "intercept fee"). Why they couldn't just ship there in the first place and save me an hour of phone calls is beyond me.

Also, the service that deals with billing issues is overseas (thick accents) and calls LATE at night (called me at 10:30pm) and tells you to call back ASAP on a phone number which says "Thank you for calling SuperBiiz, our offices are currently closed. Business hours are 8:30am to 6pm Pacific time." Amazes me they have such a good rating on here. I checked before I ordered because it seemed like a deal too good to be true on this drive. Turned out it was.

"Samsung SpinPoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB SATA2 7200rpm 32MB Hard Drive. Drive works great, quite and efficient. I have it in an aluminum esata enclosure and get great performance with no heat buildup. I would buy it again"

"Follow-up to my negative review:

so, the problem turned out to be the UPS delivery person and not E-wiz. To wit:

"A few days ago I got a call from E. (the aide who takes care of my mother) in my office and she tells me that UPS rang the bell and had two packages. One was for you, which he handed over to her and then he asked her if she could take a package for a neighbor and she said no, because, according to her, her agency says she is not supposed to accept packages for anyone other than her own household. I don’t know if that is true or not but that is what she said. THEN, the UPS guy, angered, grabbed YOUR package from her hands and left!!!!! When she told me this, I called UPS, explained the story and they profusely apologized and were supposed to redeliver. (They never did)."


After reading my comments, e-wiz got in touch right away and refunded my payment. I made a new order (same order, really) and this time everything went smoothly.

They seem to me now to be a professional company and are obviously striving to make their mark a la NewEgg as a competent reliable on-line computer service. I think they are succeeding.

bad experience. ordered a couple of hard drives, checked on UPS and listed as "package refused". ??? hard drives sent back to florida and they still have my money. i phoned yesterday, one not very cordial sales rep told me to call UPS. UPS told me that if ewiz called them they would ship again. called ewiz again, this time spoke to cordial sales person who said she would check. received email this morning saying order canceled and that I would have to order again... but they have not made any effort to refund my paypal payment.

I would really like my refund and would stay away from their company in future

"Buyer be ware. Unfortunately, unless an item is defective it is not eligible for a refund if it is not brand new and unopened. Then they apologize for the trouble this has caused you. I was lead into believing there would be a 15% restocking fee which I was willing to do. No where on the web or during the purchase price does it state item is non-refundable if you open it and try it on for size (headset). This company is not interested in good customer service, but ripping folks off..."

"I usually buy everything from the 'egg, however eWiz had a better deal on a Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB.
I went for it (excellent price!). I was pleasantly surprised by the speed and quality of service. The HDD came in 3 days, well packaged, and working.
It's only 1 order, but my experience was on-par with the best of etailers.

"Great service and very fast shipping. Ordered on Friday, got the items on Monday. The only CON was that some of the items were DOA and I had to ship them back and wait the 10 business days for testing and processing. On the plus side, the replacements work great, so I am very satisfied."
