"Listed a Lenovo Notebook G530 on pricegrabber online store for 32.95 each ordered 3 at that price and charged 98.85 for all 3. Called to confirm order and delivery date, but was closed for weekend. Recieved email confirming order. On Monday recieved another email that the order was cancealed and that was all. Called to find out why was told that they were soldout, so asked if they would honor price when they get more in then told that IT personput in wrong price and wrong item number for the price. Asked if I could get one at their price listed to show good faith in their company, but told no. Don't buy from them they lie and don't stand behind their price listings."
"I ordered an ASUS-U81A laptop from ecomelectronics, because it's the only store that has it on stock. The online ratings made me hesitate a little to order from this company, but I did it anyways because at that time, it was an awesome deal. As expected, there was a "confirmation" call which came 3-4 days after I ordered (but I ordered over thanksgiving so it's ok?). Didn't buy anything though, because most of the deals seem like a rip off (that 3-year warranty cost $200. It's insane to buy something like that when my laptop cost only $550, and there was no guarantee that they would actually uphold their deals). The "confirmation" call was quick though, and the package was sent shortly after the order was "confirmed". It arrived 6 days later. So far everything is fine and the laptop has been working for half an year now."
"I ordered a refurb Gateway laptop and could not be any happier. The price was at least 60 dollars less than anywhere else I could find, and it shipped free in just a few days. The computer itself is in perfect condition. So far it looks and runs like brand new. I know there are some bad reviews out there, but my experience was great."
"I ordered a Samsung 55' LED T.V. on 13 Feb 10 with the 'BuySafe' bond. I received a message three days later to verify my order. I returned the phone call the same day, only to have them tell me that their "system" was down. I called the next day and received an outgoing message stating that the representative would be out of the office for the day. I then sent an e-mail to ask what info they needed to complete my order, but of course received no reply. Based off the reviews from this website, I figured this was Ecoms standard procedure. I was finally able to 'verify' my order the next day after having to call again. I received the 5 minute sales pitch for the extra items and just continued to decline, even after being placed on hold. I was finally able to complete the order with normal shipping (8-12 business days), and received an e-mail on 18 Feb that the order had been shipped. It is now 8 Mar (16 business days after my original order, and I still have not received my T.V. I guess I will continue to wait and eventually see if my 'BuySafe' bond is real and can do anything for me, especially after backing a company like Ecomelectronics. Otherwise, I guess my only other option will be to get my credit card company involved to cancel the order. Either way, I will try to update the status on this review once complete."

"I was looking for two new Samsung LED's. A 40" Series 6000 and 55" Series 8000. As I looked at national retail vendors for pricing, I found what appeared to be reasonable prices. The 40" was on sale for $1399 and the 55" at $2999 plus sales tax. I looked on-line an found ecomelectronics.com with the 40" at $1199 and the 55" at $2519 with no sales tax. There would be shipping of $150 total. This would be a net savings of approximately $900. Naturally I was skeptical. I did my due diligence by checking the Better Business Bureau and other customer reviews to see if there were any "red flags". I found all the reviews very positive. I called the 800 number and talked with Tom and asked him many questions. He was very helpful and reassuring. Now I live in Calif. and ecomelectronics is in New York. But I took a leap of faith and ordered both products. I can tell you that any concerns I had were unfounded. The order arrived promptly within 8 days and safely. I am totally satisfied with the products I ordered but also extremely happy with ecomelectronics. I would encourage anyone to use their services."

"Unlike in other posts, I had decent experience when buying laptop.
HAVING BEEN ASSURED , warranty would be honored overseas I purchased 3 year plan ( mea culpa). Computer arrived overseas, and worked fine for two and a half years. Since it broke down, we have been getting run around from the warranty company, we have sent numerous copies of receipts. Today, I got email instructing me to ship computer back stateside, pay for shipment back and....ANOTHER COPY OF THE RECEIPTS etc. And if they don't receive it within 14 days, will close the case. That will cost approx. $165. The cost of the warranty itself. What happened to these shops overseas, we were ASSURED, would service the laptop under warranty if needed. STAY AWAY FROM THEIR WARRANTIES. STAY AWAY FROM THEM."
