"I don't recommend doing business with this company. The low price was the only thing in their favor.

I bought a TV that was listed as a new in box item. The experience started badly when the product took almost two weeks to ship ip spite of the fact that I paid extra for expedited shipping. When the TV arrived, it was obviously not new in box. The TV had been opened and was not repackaged in the original packing materials. The TV cabinet was streaked like it had been cleaned with something that damaged the finish. Several phone calls and emails to the company didn't resolve the issue to my satisfaction. They flat-out refused to return or exchange the product and offered only a $75 credit for my inconvenience. I could have bought a used TV for half of what I paid so $75 was a joke.

If you do business with this company, do so at your own risk. You should at least use Amazon so you have Amazon's return policy in your favor.

home which, unfortunately, was lost in transit...ecomElectronics, upon being notiifed of my problem was
very quick to rectify the situation by shipping a replacement with apologies for my inconvenience...I couldn't be more pleased
at the professionalism with which this experience was handled.
I would highly recommend this merchant with the highest rating.

"Nasty company to deal with. Hard to believe these glowing reviews given the way they dealt with a shipping error on their part. (They didn't send the merchandise ordered.) After getting no response to emails, I called them. Phone person was curt if not downright rude and would not fix the problem. Suggested rather that I was trying to scam the company.

Would never buy again from them. Caveat emptor to others. Just hope nothing goes wrong.

"I purchased an item that worked fine for about a week. Then started to malfunction. I returned it. They contacted me by phone. Returned all my money, no questions asked. Then followed up with 2 more calls to make sure Ibwas satisfied.
The level,of service after the fact was OUTSTANDING. I will definitely do business with them again.

"I purchased an item from ecomElectronics through Amazon.com.
The item was listed as new in retail packaging, but when it arrived, it was clearly a used item thrown in a bag and missing parts.
I returned the item through Amazon, and then left appropriate feedback on Amazon to warn other shoppers of the bait-and-switch practice.
Shortly after posting my feedback, I recieved a message from Ecom asking if I would remove my negative feedback in exchange for $10 to make up for the inconvenience.
I told them that I would not remove the feedback unless they corrected the problem.
They assured me that they had corrected the listing and asked again if I would remove my feedback in exchange for $10.
Since they claimed to have corrected the problem, I figured I'd take the money.
Fast-forward a couple months, I got a friendly email from eComElectronics asking me to leave some positive feedback on the same item I returned a month ago. This reminded me to check if I ever received the $10 bribe they promised- I did not.

Bottom line- they bait-and-switch items, and then don't even follow through on their bribes to remove negative feedback.

"One of the batteries that I ordered turned-out to be defective (failed over 30 days after receipt). I contacted ecomElectronics' customer service and within minutes, a replacement was on its way - no questions, no hassle and no additional shipping charges. "I think EcomElectronics is a wonderful company, with great customer service. I had never done business with them, before, but recently I bought a battery for my Alarm from ecomElectronics,through Amazon.com. The battery was economically priced, arrived quickly, was undamaged and worked great. However, I expressed my concern about the lack of durability of the shipping container used for the battery and the potential for damage to future battery shipments to other customers in a review, on Amazon. To my surprise, ecomElectronics contacted me to address my concern immediately. Not only did they tell me they were improving their shipping methods, but offered me a full refund and let me keep the battery, for free, for my trouble. That blew my socks off! Obviously, ecomElectronics goes above and beyond what is necessary to please it's customers, and that is the hallmark of a great company with excellent customer service. People should reward companies, like ecomElectronics, by doing business with them, and I will definitely be doing more business with them in the future. "

"This outfit has a lot of improving to do when it come to customer service. If you are one of the customers that orders and receives their item then I'm sure you gave them five stars. Unfortunately I was one that did not get my item when expected. I ordered through eBay, opened a case with them, and I did eventually receive my order. But the process was time intensive and painful. It looks like they used Amazon as a distributor for my order and there was some breakdown in communication between them and Amazon. They kept claiming the order shipped and "the warehouse was updating tracking information." If they had just been honest and upfront it would have been better. Rather they took an evasive approach. If they had a better line of communication with their distributor it would have been better. It sounds like a major breakdown between Amazon and them caused my issue. eBay says they do a lot of successful business with them so it sounds like they get some of them right. But until they resolve their serious customer service deficit unfortunately if yours does not go right and you have to talk to them, you will eventually get your order but it will be a very painful process."

"Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Would not return phone calls or emails. Didn't have the item I originally ordered even though it showed as being in stock. Terrible. Stay away!!!

Amended: 1/31/12 Somewhat made up for poor service by upgrading the model of the laptop, offering free expedited shipping and offering a $20 credit toward next purchase. Still believe they should communicate better during the transaction rather than after.

"I ordered a Sidekick cell phone from eComElectronics. Unfortunately when it arrived, it was still locked. I then contacted their technical department for help. Initially, they had difficulty unlocking the phone and it looked like I would have to send it back for a refund. However, several hours later they called me back with the correct unlock code. I was grateful for their persistents on working this problem and keeping a customer satisfied."
