I have made a call and sent an e-m concerning the defective merchandise shipped to me on order #7921594. The item, (AC adapter for a Dell laptop computer) was received by me in good condition, however, aware of recalls for this item by Dell computer I checked to make sure I didn’t receive one of the recalled AC adapters. I reviewed the Dell website and it appeared it is one of the recalled parts. To confirm I called the Dell recall phone number, (1-XXX-XXX-XXXX), and they did confirm by part number, date code, and manufacturer the item you sold me is in fact a recalled item due to overheating/fire problems. I called your customer service department at etech4sale.com and was basically told to bad, call Dell. I didn’t buy this part from Dell and expect a replacement or refund including shipping charges from YOU, not Dell.
I filled out the RMA form online and printed the form as instructed, and of course with the promise of a reply within 24 hours. The 24 hour period has come and gone with no reply, and I can assume I probably won’t get a response, and of course without a response I can’t return the merchandise. I have tried in good faith to resolve this issue and have not been able to even get a response. Therefore, I have disputed this item charged to my credit card. Case #D-XXXXXXXXX (amount $36.45)

"My order # is 7677114. I have recently purchased LP133WX1 13.3 inch WXGA (1280 x 800 ) LCD Screen for Apple, because my LCD of my MacBook was destroyed while I traveled by plane. After receiving this from etech, I have brought this to the company which can fix my MacBook. The engineer of the company told me that the power cable of this LCD is too short to connect with my MacBook. I have sent an e-mail to sales department of etech on April 26, but I could not receive any reply. I have called them for RMA on April 29, and I have heard from the phone operator that I needed to request through their web site for RMA, so I did it immediately though their web. The phone operator told me I should receive the approval e-mail within 48 hours. The automated e-mail response also indicated that I should receive the approval e-mail within 24 hours, but I have not received any reply. I have again sent another e-mail to RMA department on May 2, but still absolutely no reply. Please respond/send RMA to me.

Here is my additional comments. I knew RMA is allowed within 2 weeks, so what I was afraid of with this seller as the worst case is that this seller does not respond to me immediately and then I lose a chance to return it. What exactly happened with this seller was what I was afraid of. Etech4sale replied to me after wasting 10 days with denying my RMA request. I returned to etech4sale web site to re-request RMA, but the web just showed "more than 2 weeks have passed, no return allowed". Obviously this is not a fair solution for both of us. Etech made a rule for product return, I agreed to pay 17% restocking fee and return it within 2 weeks, and Etech told me that I should receive their reply after up to 48 hrs. However, they meaninglessly spent 10 days just reply to me, even denied my RMA request, and set up their web to prevent my re-request of RMA. This can be called as a scam.
To overcome this problem, I have contacted American Express to report this problem. Additionally, without any instruction of etech4sale, I just returned the products with certified mail. American Express knew the receipt of this certified mail, took care of this issue, and I could receive full refund, although I spent such a long long time to regain the money I paid.
If etech were an honest seller, they could have at least made some money from me as restocking fee I should pay, but American Express gave me complete full refund. As a result, I did not finally lose anything thanks to etech's dishonesty. I will not buy any from etech forever though."
"For the requested order #6627770....We recieved the requested order and put Hard Drive in a Gateway computer. The unit did not load Windows XP properly with Technical support from Gateway and a local computer consultant. "I bought on april 4, friday at 4am. Product was shipped on that day. I paid for usps priority 2/3 day. Should be here monday or tuesday. Money was taken out sat the 5th.
Monday came with a letter from them with tracking info. They sent it fed ex ground.
I called and they said different warehouses do it different ways. They would not refund the cost difference in shipping.
I said I needed it by tuesday, fed ex will not deleiver until thurs or fri.
I told them I have to now overnight it from another company at greater cost and I expect a full refund. They said they would refund the product but not the delievery charge.
I mentioned the website said nothing about changing delivery methods and she said the website does not say that 'we will not change the delivery methods'
I smell crooks. And it will end up costing me 30 dollars to send it back, along with the original cost of the shipping.
Will I ever see my money? I do not know. I am informing the manufacturer of this issue and the warehouses they work with.
UPDATE: They refused to stop the fed ex shipment and said I had to return it after it arrived. My second and last phone conversation I was told the lady would 'asl the owners' if I could get a refund. I decided to allow the package to arrive as they said. Then they responded to the BBB by saying package delivered, no refunds.
I suspect this is a small time organized crime outfit and they will nickel and dime you. And if you send something back you will lose the product and the money.
Many others online have talked about recieving used equipment from them.
I would stay away from these crooks. I have contact the california state attorney generals office about this problem.
Their own website has 'rules' on how they operate and they do not even follow them.
I am definitely suing them.

"Our company bought expensive USB memory from Etech4Sale.com 5 weeks ago. We haven't received the product. The order status said it was never shipped. We would like to receive the product or get the money back but it found out to be quite hard: We have tried to call them 10 times and sent them several emails but we get no answer. Their voice-mail is always full. Their web page is also down at the moment. I've read tens of similar experiences from web. Etech4Sale.com is a scam!"
"Ordered product for overnight delivery - received order confirmation and that is the last thing that went right. Did not get my order and when I called customer service twice I was told a manager was handling my order and he would call me back. He never called and I wrote 2 emails and left 2 voicemails saying I wanted the order cancelled as it was too late. 14 days after I placed the order I received an email saying it had shipped out - overnight freight!! The customer service rep was extremely rude but finally I got through to the manager and he agreed to remove the overnight shipping charge. I will write again if that doen't happen. Beware of doing businness with this company "
"Liars. Another bad business on the web. I should have gone with a well-known company. The company advertised the hard drive as new (I've got a screen shot). When it arrived it was refurbished. I will never do business with this company again."
"Purchased a combo floppy drive. Vendor failed to note the drive was used. It was clear the drive was used because the connector pins were bent.
Shipping/tracking problem also. Initially the vendor was impossible to contact by phone to verify shipping status. Voicemail box was full. Sent an email to determine shipping status. No response for ~24 hours. Vendor claimed that tracking number previously supplied was correct except that it was missing a digit. I guess I was just supposed to guess the digit.
When questioned about circumstances vendor claimed shipper was at fault and that shipper had emailed the same bad tracking number to me. Shipper had not sent me an email. In other words either the vendor lied or didn't understand their own process.
The important point here is that the vendor failed to take responsibility for the full transaction.
In summary the vendor sold a used item without stating it was used. They followed that up by denying responsibility for a shipping/tracking problem. Don't use this vendor."
"I ordered from this site once. Only once. Not again. Never. Two weeks to ship my order? Two weeks? 14 days? It was impossible, as in simply NOT POSSIBLE to cancel my order. I tried three times. Cannot cancel an order; 14 days to ship the order and no apology for the delay.

"Etech sending me the wrong laptop battery was just the beginning of my problems. Attempts to reach them via phone were unsuccessful, and after initially responding to my query about a replacement via email they stopped responding to no less than five separate emails from me over a week's time. After finally allowing me to access my account online I returned the battery (minus of course their 15% charge - even they I was sent the wrong battery) on December 19th. I have yet to receive my reimbursement. I just got off the phone with them and was told that they're "lightly staffed" as to explain the delay in reimbursing me. They treated me as if I was to blame, the idea of taking responsibility was foreign to them.
To recap - wrong battery, wouldn't return email requests for a replacement, and several weeks after returning my product still haven't processed it.
