"Goods OK, Shipment fees are a rip off. One time experience as they don`t bother to explain 800% higher shipment fees compared to competitiors. Ignorance is the word.

Well, apparently the above review finally brought an answer to my previous, directly addressed complains. I can understand the explainations how it occured. As from yesterday I was offered that the shipment exceeding amount of US$ 600,00 will be returned. Will wait and see. However like I said, goods were OK, speed was OK, just the fees I should have checked better first.

As from today (Aug. 28th) I am happy to say that ETech has refunded the promised US$ 600,00. Good things sometimes need time! The value of a partner for me is rated how complains are handled and in this case I am satisfied. For the future I see no obstacles in dealing with ETech again. Thank you"

"Do NOT buy from this company. They are TERRIBLE.
I ordered a PC from them. The next day I checked back online to find the order had been cancelled! Of course, no one from the company had the manners to call me first.
The girl who tok my call and was quite rude and unpleasant to deal withat all times told me that the order was cancelled because my credit card had been declined (!)and when they looked into it they found that my PC was out of stock even though the day before the website had indicated it was in stock.
When I checked with my bank, not only had my credit card not been declined, the payment had been authorized!
Etech4sale then promised to refund the money. Because I am using a Canadian credit card I lost out on currency charges with the refund. So it cost me $40 to get nothing but aggravation and a huge waste of time.

"I ordered a cordless phone and it arrived without a battery! I called and they immediately sent out a battery – the wrong one. I called and was told to return the battery and they would send the correct one the following day. I have called back two additional times telling them I have not received the battery and each time I was told it was being put in the mail. They did tell me they received my returned battery. Monday, 7/7 I was told it would be Expressed to me immediately! They are saying the Warehouse Manager is supposed to be sending out this battery, someone is sure dropping the ball.

7/14/08 – finally got the battery and it was the wrong one again. I checked my model # and it was different from the model # on the invoice. I called them back and told them and they said they must have been out of the phone I ordered so they substituted another similar phone that was the same price. They told me to send the battery back, and they were to call to have it picked up.

7/21/08 I finally got the correct battery, I love the phone! They did what they said except the 2nd incorrect battery is still sitting at my front door for they haven't had it picked up."

"I ordered a Nortel switch from them, paid for it by TT. Today is 26th June, and my banks tracer has identified the payment was recvd by Etech4sale on 12th june, but still the website shows "waiting for payment"

Various mails have gone unanswered. Posting in this forum to get some response from them.

Update-Recvd a response from them that they recvd money but are waiting for the goods to arrive from different warehouse.

Will update after they ship.


Update - 9July2008 - Still it has not shipped. The payment hit their account on 12une2008, and its 9July - They have not shipped the product.

"Generally a good source of low-price deals. But you pay for the low price in (lack of) customer support. My last order had a defective digital photo frame (DOA as-received). I got an RMA, sent the unit back. They received it January 5 2008, and sent marked it as "In Testing" Jan 8th 2008. It's now almost 6 months later and there has been no action on this. I have written them numerous times and I get no replies to my emails.
In the past, I have had occasions when they would respond to emails. There was even one case where I had forgotten to include the code for free shipping on an order. When I emailed about it, they issued a credit to me for the shipping charge. But on this RMA, I have had no reply to numerous emails. The "My Account" on their website continues to show the item as "In Testing" six months later.

I returned the entire digital photo frame including power supply and ALL original packaging, even the original plastic wrap and the little plastic insulator on the remote control battery. This is entirely bogus. You have never replied to me since I sent this back under the RMA.

"I ordered 9 SCSI drives from these people over a 2 week period. Five are bad and I returned the last two for RMA first. The drives were shipped 5/15/08 and received 3 days later. As of 6/16/08 they are still in testing. No reply to my emails. These people are bad news. Steer clear unless you have months to waste on waiting"

"When I was in the market for a new laptop, etech4sale had the best price around. I've never ordered from them before so this was a new experience for me. There was only one delay before the order was shipped though... they wanted confirmation for my Credit Card which, once supplied, enabled the order to be shipped within a few days. Considering I was a new customer at the time, I can't fault them for that. And any communication that I had with their Reps. was very good.

Once feature on their website that I really like is that when you login to your account, you can see what stage your order is at, whether it's in the Credit department awaiting approval, in the Warehouse being sorted, or Shipped. Very nice!"

"I ordered a USB 2.0 external hard drive w/ a 500GB Seagate ST3500830A Ultra ATA-100 IDE hard drive. First I received the hard drive and no USB case. I contacted them and then they shipped me a USB case separately. This probably occurred over at least a one week time period. I got the case but didn't check it right away, which was my mistake because it was for a SATA drive. I tried contacting them again; I left two phone messages but have not yet received a reply."
