"*** I'm extremely disappointed with Etech4sales. *** On there separate occasions in the last month, I have attempted to place orders. On all occasions, my CORPORATE AMEX credit card was declined. In the 1st instance, I never received an email or phone call regarding the fact that they canceled my order. After not receiving the equipment for a couple of weeks, I started an inquiry. I attempted to call their ***-***-**** as well as their ***-***-**** for several days. I could not leave messages at x101 – sales nor x105 – customer service. Both voice mail boxes were full. Pressing 0 got me a “no operator available to take your call”. I then attempted to email them at ****@**** and ****@**** – both bounced back. Finally, after about 3 weeks, I was able to speak with someone in the sales dept. I gave my credit card information again. I was assured that the credit card authorization had taken place & that the order would be on this way. Mind you, our AMEX Corporate card is used (on average, 10+ times a day) for purchases of $Ks. I kept checking the online status. The order once again was canceled. I called AMEX to check about a declined entry – there is no record of it. I then attempted to place an entirely new order. This time, I did receive (within a few minutes) an email stating that the order had been canceled. Note that before placing this order, I re-verified again all the information, name, cc#, CID, billing, etc. When I attempted to call their 800#, once again, there is no live person to speak with. Both mailboxes (at x101 and x105) are full. I called Amex, thres is record of any purchases being declined. I have already used the card today for a $20K+ order with Dell and another with BUY.COM from $1.8K. Oh well, I guess Etech4sales doesn’t really want my business. If you value your time, and the need to meet the professional requirements of your business, I would recommend for you NOT to place any orders with Etech4sales. ONCE AGAIN, STAY CLEARLY AWAY FROM THIS FIRM AT ALL COSTS. NEXT, I WILL BE FILLING A COMPLAINT WITH BBB. MAKE SURE THAT YOU READ THE BBB REPORT - I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH etech4sale.com

Updated on 20060925@1747 - Upon reading the “Reseller’s Reply” [dated 9/22/06], I once again attempted to call in. It took me several calls before I actually got to speak with a live person. I requested to speak with a manager - as instructed by them in their rebuttal. After waiting a couple of minutes, I spoke with a manager by the name of Mrs. Elkington . Once again, we verified all the credit card information, billing and ship to addresses. By all indications, everything appears to be in order. She then attempted to process the credit card again. She informed me that both their credit card clearing houses declined the card. When I asked who the clearing houses were, she told me that they use VeriSign and PayPal. Once again, I informed her that we continue to use this card successfully (several times since my last write-up) with other ONLINE vendors without any problems. It is hard for me to believe that both VeriSign and PayPal would decline the card. I suggested that she call either/both companies to inquire as to why the card was declined. Perhaps there is a typo in the information that I supplied, or something in the etech4sales.com system that is not being passed onto the clearing house correctly. Mrs. Elkington informed me that there is nothing she can do. When I insisted that she call their credit card clearing house, she refused. Upon hearing this, I asked her to think about her position on this matter. If she were my customer, I would clearly make the phone call to the clearing house. I asked her to ponder on the fact that the order I placed had a small dollar amount (only $377). But, this is a small drop in the bucket for us! Speaking about our computer and network equipment orders for today only – they have been in the thousands. What a shame that a customer support manager refuses to work a little harder with her clients. I would venture to say that this is a disservice to her own company. Who knows what our business relationship may have brought in the future. Now, just in case you think I’m an irate customer – who spent 10 minutes typing this, think again. I just think of myself as a responsible consumer. If I had this problem (and from reading ResellerRatings and BBB, several others have as well), I would encourage you to think about your choices. To be fair, I should point out that Etech4sales does have several happy and satisfied customers (I also read those reviews), which is why I made/attempted to make my purchases in the first place. So, perhaps, I’m an isolated case. I will; however, instruct my company not to make any purchases from etech4sales.com. This is my choice. I hope you have better luck with them…

"I really enjoy working with eTech4Sale.com because they are fast and reliable. Definitely better than Dell and CDW combined. "Purchased power supply for my Toshiba P35-S609 Laptop per their web-site listing. Plug does not fit laptop. They have not returned e-mails or request for RMA from their web-site. Phone calls only get answering machine. They do NOT call back. If you need customer service or an RMA you are out of luck. I would not buy from them again."

"Well as of today 9-13-06 it has been 5 days shy of 2 months since I placed my order. I recieved the first order after 8 days, But wasn't what I Ordered so I sent for my RMA. Well after many emails and phone calls and a total of 1 month 1 day passing from the day it was signed for its went back in processing. Now 2 weeks later and it still just sitting there, so as of this point in 5 days 2 months will have passed and I still am yet to recieve the order I place back on 7-18-06..."

"Avoid these guys at all costs. They will take your order, let you pay, and then cancel your order due to "lack of inventory". Then they will not respond to any requests for a refund. Try calling their phone numbers... a real person never picks up, and they *never* call back. *Update* after 2 weeks of calling, and opening a Paypal dispute, the money was refunded."
