"Buyers BEWARE. Even though they might have good ratings from the BBB and ResellerRatings, I would stay away from this company at all cost. I purchased a Sony HDR-HC3 camcorder from Etronics on 9 Oct 2006. I recieved the camcorder as promised on 11 Oct 2006. When I opened the box, charged the battery (as stated in the manual) and turned the camcorder on it displayed an error, that according to the manual, says that the camcorder needs to be taken to a Authorized Sony Service Center for repair. I contacted Etronics on 12 Oct 2006 to say that I wanted to return this camcorder for a new one that was not defective and the Etronics rep said that they do not return Sony camcorders due to the "Deal" they have with Sony and I must return it directly to Sony for repair. According to the Etronics website: "Defective products will be accepted by Etronics for credit or exchange within thirty (30) days from the date of shipment. If part of a product is defective, please return the whole product, including all manuals and accessories, in the original packaging. Furniture must be disassembled. (We will only accept a return or exchange of an exchange order for fourteen (14) days from the date of shipment of the return or exchange). To be returnable, defective products require an RMA Number – please see above for instructions on receiving an RMA Number." I did not see any notice on the item page or on their "Satifaction Guarantee" page that Sony camcorders could not be returned and if I did I would NOT have purchased this from Etronics in the 1st place. "
"I had 2 separate orders from this merchant. The first one(#2262355) was handled splendidly. I received a confirmation e-mail immediately after making the order and I received the speakers 7 business days later(no complaint from me.. free shipping).
My second order(#2262332), however... The website said it was 'in stock'. After I ordered the speaker, I noticed the status hung on 'in processing'. Around a week later I had to give them a call to find out what was going on. Turns out the manufacturer had discontinued the product and they weren't sure when they'd get more in stock. I HAD to call them to get this information, as no e-mail had been sent telling me this little detail. I sent an e-mail cancelling my order and it was done without fanfare.
They are 1 for 2 in reliability. I would say, however, that the customer service rep I spoke with(Diandra) was very helpful and sincerely apologetic about the stock issue. Barring their sometimes-incorrect stock indications, I'd pick these guys over just about any of the other e-commerce electronics sites."
"I bought a Nikon D200 at $250 less than most other sellers' price. I also order a 2nd battery for the camera. The man taking the order was helpful and likable and pretty uninformed about the battery. I never received an email confirmation from the company. I did receive the camera and battery when I should have; however it was the wrong battery. When I called, the man told me that it should work but I didn't open it because it was the wrong battery. 8 phone calls later, I was finally told to keep the battery and the would send the correct battery when they got it in stock. This is all verbal so I don't have any proof about this, even though I am on speaking terms with 6 different people who all tell me different things. When I called today to ask them to send me an email telling me that they would be sending me the correct battery, I got a message telling me to call back during regular work hours. My call was at 1 p.m. on a Tuesday. I've made 3 phone calls today and still get the same recording.
I think they are honest but uninformed and are disorganized. The people in customer service seem pretty fed up with them, telling me to be forceful and make the guys who sold me the wrong battery to correct their own mess."

"I placed an order for a Panasonic digital camera on Saturday, September 9, 2006 through a credit card rewards site. I received a shipping confirmation on Monday, 9/11 and the camera arrived as promised and complete on Thursday, 9/14. I thought it was a bit tacky that they contacted me by phone to try to sell me another battery and an extended warranty, however those were items I was interested in purchasing and the warranty information arrived with the camera and the second battery arrived the day after the camera."
"I bought a Canon a530 digital camera from etronics.com at a price no other retailer could beat. HOWEVER, when I received the package, 3 items were missing including the memory card, wrist strap, and warranty card. When I reported this to the merchant, they claimed that items didn't come with the camera, even though both their website and Canon's website stated otherwise. Moreover, the box was marked for sale in Japan ONLY and my camera's language setting was Japanese by default. Luckily, Canon rushed the missing items to me with no problems and I resolved the language issue by downloading the manuals from Canon's website. Overall, my experience could have been worse, but I don't think I'd shop from etronics.com again."
"Not very honest. Web site said Item was in stock & took order. After nothing was shipped at 3 days I had to contact them to find out they did not have the item. They should have contact me right once they knew it was not in stock. I don't do business with webstores that don't put me first before their sale."

"Customer service is very rude. Item was ordered on the 20th of August. Kept telling that the item will be shipped the following day. As it turned out, the item was out of stock and back ordered while on their website, it says item is in stock. Had to wait 25 minutes to speak with a customer service rep. and another 20 minutes to cancel my order."

Order was placed Tuesday shipped same day & I got it today (Thursday)in TN. The product box had some damage but not the DHL shipping box,speakers are OK. "I can only warn everyone to do business with this company. I ordered 4 hand mixer for business use as an international order in cooperation with comerxia. The items were supposed to be send to Germany in between 10-14 business days. I did not receive any shipment confirmation after two weeks so I contacted them. They said that the 10-14 business days were just an estimation! After over a month of waiting and about 20 e-mails it became obvious, that the shipment got lost or had never been shipped.They offered me a refund of my money in between 10 business days. This is now 15 business days ago and they do not answer my e-mails or phone calls any more. I will stick on them but I do not have much hope to get my money (254 USD) back. I think I will take legal action against them."
"One month ago I ordered some camera accessories from etronics. I paid by credit card and the $830 was immediately charged from my account, but goods were not delivered. First they sent a few emails explaining that the items are "currently unavailable" and it may take up to two weeks to get them.
They never replied to any of my queries. After one month of waiting, and not having been able to get any kind of contact to the etronics company, I am concluding that this was a classical fraud. They took my money but never intended to deliver anything? Neither will they refund the payment either.
I am now attempting to recover the payment through my credit card company and will contact law enforcement authorities soon.
