"I purchased a Pioneer Premier 680 car receiver from Etronics after my cousing bought the same product from etronics. I do not know why their rating is so low, as their service was great. They informed me multiple times, from when my order was placed, authorized, then shipped. It was all done in a very timely matter.
I received my item 4-5 days after placing my order. The item was a great price, and shipping was very reasonable. I do not have experience with their supporting services, as I did not require them. My cousin has purchased from etronics many time, and never had issue. Neither have I."

Less than $10 to ship UPS ground, sure it was slow, but I wasn't in a rush and saved a lot of money."

"Purchased a microwave based on price and high reseller rating. Item arrived with an open box and obvious damage. Oddly, the box itself was not dented or crushed. Immediately sent email threatening scathing reviews about knowingly sending out damaged goods. Got an immediate response to send the item back for a full refund - even paying for return postage. They followed through as promised. Personally, despite the first class service after my threat of negative feedback, I would not trust them again. Buyers beware."
"I bought a wine cooler from Etronics that was damaged when it arrived. It was clearly a refurbished or returned item. After multiple attempts to try to return it, I've still not heard from them (almost 1 month later). Also, according to their website, even if they send a defective item, they expect you to cover all the postage ($114) coming and going.
I will never buy from them again."

I ordered a Weber grill, cover and light. Due to the size of the grill, they broke the order up. I received e-mails throughout the entire order providing tracking numbers for each of the shipments and notification that they would be using a different shipper for large items. I couldn't have been more pleased with the prices and service. To be honest, I was skeptical because of their Brooklyn, NY location, but decided to give them a go based on their ratings on this site and I couldn't have been more pleased.
I will definitely try them again in the future!"
"I bought a KitchenAid KSM150PSMC for my wife in Etronics.com because their low prices. After made the purchase I came here and saw a lot of bad reviews. I was very concerned. I also thought to cancel my order.
But later this night I got a e-mail from Etronics.com saying that the my order was shipped. 2 days more and the package arrived to my home. I paid for 7 days ground shipping.
The original box was perfectly closed and the KitchenAid works great.
I will buy from these guys again for sure.

"Ordered Yamaha powered sub-woofer on 4/14/06. Arrived 4/20/06. Item was used, damaged, did not work. E-mailed ETRONICS as per their home page. Got an email response. I had to call A,erican Express to put a hold on payment. As of this date, 4/22/06m I have heard nothing from ETRONICS. At this point I feel I am simply out $518.00. Unless I start to get a positive feedback from this company, all I can say is beware. This is a scam company. They take your money and send out junk. As of now, I will not do business with them unless they make their obvious attempt at pawning off junk right. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ETRONICS!!!"
"This Store is FANTASTIC!!! Other than the fact that the shipping costs are slightly on the high side, the price is the lowest, no pressure sales. Ordered - shipped and received next day (with basic ground shipping based on their recommendation). Would buy from them again and again! Anyway, Item has arived 1.5 month since it was paid off. Canadian buyers, expect loooooooong delay until item will arrive to your door step. Not recommended seller. Could've get item for similar price from other seller in time."
"One of the worst customer service groups I have ever come across. You will only get a reply from a human if you reply to one of their messages - if you initiate contact, that won't do it, you'll just get a 'read our faq' automated email. Their order status page (worthless itself) and faqs TELL you to contact them, but they won't reply unless you reply to one of their replies. huh?
Anyways, our items all said delivery in 1 to 2 days. This time passed and we asked for an update. And asked. And asked. Finally, a cancellation email got a human reply, whereby the head of customer service informed me they had charged my card days ago (days before shipping) and they'd issue a refund. That charge only showed up AFTER they acknowledged my cancellation. A chargeback will be issued, obviously.
Don't bother getting into a discussion about the backwards nature of their communication system, they defend it as being good and needed. They don't have an 800 number, so email is it - that's fine, but that email system needs to handle all incoming inquiries. It doesn't. Obviously their ratings started to have issues at the begining of the year. Looks like they were great before that. Now, I wouldn't order from them if the item was free. And no, they never explained why the shipping of my order was delayed by six business days. Beware."

"I placed an order with this vendor two weeks ago. It was an order of 3 tvs that they said were in stock. When I called today to question why the order has not been shipped, Mike, a "customer service" rep told me that the product was discontinued. When I asked when they were going to tell me, he answered that he just did. I then asked if he could assist me in finding an alternative to my original selection, he told me that "We just move boxes. We can't help you because we don't know anything about the products. When I asked to speak to someone in sales he told me that there is nobody to talk to. Horrible customer service. I would recommend that you go elsewhere if you intend on getting any type of help from this company."
"Horrible, unscrupulous service. I cancelled an order I'd made before anything was ever processed...it was about 1 am when I ordered and 3 am when I cancelled, so I know there hadn't been any activity. So I get a confirmation message telling me that my order's been cancelled. Great. But then, a day later, they ship it anyway! And now I can't send it back when it arrives because they'll hit me with a restocking fee and I will have had to pay nonrefundable shipping both ways.
So I frantically send them an email, and they respond with a form letter. I reply to that one, and they respond with the same form letter they sent the first time. I know I'm not going to get anywhere because they'll keep sending form letters, and their phone number is not even listed on the site. Isn't that a bit suspicious?"
