"I purchased a HP iPaq 2415 from etronics. They shipped my item the same day. Everything was great except for the shipping company they used. I would give etronics an excellent rating. But they used DHL to ship my product, I paid extra for 3 day shipping and it was late. DHL has a tracking web site but it is not regularly updated so I could never tell where my package was. I wish that etronics would use another major shipper such as UPS which has a good tracking system and works to make sure packages arrive timely. DHL would receive a poor service rating. "

"Their website is very nice and organized and their search engine works very well. One can track an order without registering with the company (using order number and zip code). Customer service was very helpful and knowledgeable about the company policies and manufacturers of the stuff they sell.
I bought an air conditioner that was refurbished from their site. I wanted something portable that I could move anywhere. Their price was half the price of retail value of the particular air conditioner (Delonghi Split Portable 11000BTU).
It is also very hard to place an order with a credit card. I had to fax them my drivers license and a copy of bank statement (important info blacked out, of course) just to get them to take my money.
This company loves the "back order technique". Everything appears to be in stock until after they verify your credit card. Then "processing" takes place. If the item is actually in stock then your order shouldn't take too long. If not, processing means trying to get another one from the manufacturer (in the case of refurbished items).
If you are ordering refurbished items, I'd advise you to check out the manufacturer's customer service and product ratings. You don't want to be stuck with something that the manufacturer does not stand behind.

"I placed an order on a Sunday evening that stated "in stock". Paid for overnight shipping. I expected the item to be shipped out Monday and I would receive it on Tuesday. My order status still states processing. The company seems to pride itself on satisfaction. Well maybe they should look at their communication with customers. They now state they are closed until Thursday morning. Ugh, again I feel the company could do much better if they communicate effectively with their customers instead of leaving them hang. I feel as though they would not get so many bad reviews if they would just call or email their customers with better communication about the order."

"I ordered 4 Panasonic phones (3 corded and 1 cordless). On the web, indicated in-stock and usually shipped within 1-2 days. I paid extra for a UPS2nds shipping. My credit card was cleared on 9/22. Even though, I was keep sending email to their customer services on 9/23, 9/26, 9/27, no response from them. Finally, I found a corporate sale number to call them. Turned out, the products were not shipped out yet. I finally got their email back on 9/27 saying that the order was shipped. When I received the order on 9/29, only the cordless phone arrived. No msg. or from customer services that the order was partially shipped. Also, the cordless phone shipped is defected. I sent a msg. to obtain a Return Authorization Number. Of course, I have not get one yet. That is not the end, I complained about the rest of the order and express my intention to cancel it. They immediately said that they'll response and shipping out. Finally, they said and sent a msg. that the rest of the order was shipped on 9/30. What happened is they use a ground shipping now even though I had paid for a 2nd days. I sent a msg. to them. I still don't get any response. It has been very frustrating to deal with this company. So far, I still don't have the rest of the products for 2 weeks. I hope other people won't fall into this trap."
