Also, they require each shipping address to be an alternate on the credit card which is an administrative nightmare for people who travel. Well, I can say a little more than that.

I've been ordering things online, mainly electronics and computer things, for well over 5 years, and rarely do I feel inclined to write a review about a particular company. But this time I feel more than obligated to do so.

I live in Germany, serving in the U.S. Air Force, and for others of you out there like me, you know this can be intimidating if you're trying to buy things online. First of all, Etronics SHIPS TO APO/FPO addresses, without ripoff shipping pricing. A big plus.

Here's what happened with my order: I ordered a Denon AVR-3805 receiver, a Yamaha YST-SW1500 subwoofer, and Philips protection warranties for both. A few days after my order, I received an email from a very courteous and professional rep named Leo. He regretted to inform me that my subwoofer could not be shipped through the Post Office because it was too big (it's a pretty big and heavy subwoofer). Mind you, this was after my order had already processed and was listed on the website as "shipped." I asked him to cancel the subwoofer and the subwoofer's warranty from the order. He told me that the receiver was already shipped, and that he would cancel the subwoofer and warranty from the order. And he did just that. Every email I wrote to this man (and I wrote quite a few) was QUICKLY replied to in a very friendly manner. He didn't even get impatient with me when I kept emailing him asking about my refund. I can be quite pesky.

Today I got my refund on my credit card, and I couldn't be happier. One other thing that surprised me: the receiver was shipped USPS EXPRESS MAIL, even though it was listed as Priority Mail on my order!!! It got here in three days! Shipping stuff here from the states via Priority mail usually takes about 7-10 business days. Etronics really went out of the way here. I don't know exactly how much $$$ Etronics shelled out to send this package to me, but I'm fairly certain it cost them more than I paid.

Ordered a Casio watch in evening of 9/6. Arrived in good condition on 9/12 in the early morning via DHL. Shipping took a bit longer as Etronics says that they don't stock the watches in house. An e-mail to them asking about the delay got this same day response:

"All watch orders have a 1-2 day lead time before shipping as they are not stocked here locally. This order should ship Monday."

It actually shipped later the same day (Friday).
