"On 07/08, I attempted to place an order for some Raynox lenses. Right after I placed the order, I realized that I did not order an adapter I needed. Following the website's instructions, I cancelled the order in order to create a new one that included the adapter. The website stated the order was in the process of being cancelled and on Monday morning received an e-mail from customer service that the cancellation went through without a problem.
I then ordered the two Raynox lenses and a Raynox lens adapter along with a free gift on 07/12. On 07/14, my order status stated the order had shipped and that I would be able to check my tracking info after midnight (that's a DHL thing). On 07/15, I checked the tracking info and saw that the estimated delivery date was that day. By the time I got home from work that day, I had my package.
Unfortunately, the package only contained the two lenses. The invoice states that this was only a partial shipment, but it also listed that the free gift was supposed to be in this shipment. Also, one of the Raynox lenses shipped was the wrong model (I had ordered a black one and they shipped the silver one). I now have an e-mail in to customer service to see what I need to do to get this resolved. Their website states that the customer is responsible for return shipping on returns of damaged products, but does not specify for wrong products.
I called Etronics on 07/18 because I hate waiting for e-mails to be answered. I spoke to Rahim who stated that he would have DHL come today and pickup the incorrect lens at their expense. Once they receive it, they would ship out the correct one. He was also going to have the lens adapter shipped out with the new lens once the incorrect lens was received.
Well, I received the lens adapter on 07/19 as they shipped it out separately. As for the incorrect lens, they received it on 07/19 as well and had a new one shipped out to me on 07/25 as there is a 2-4 day turnaround. I got the new lens on 07/27 and wouldn't you know, it was same model they initially sent me.
On 07/28, I talked to customer service again and we worked out to have a new lens sent out that day while I send the incorrect one back and once again they sent me the wrong lens. I sent back this one as well.
Since I'm a glutton for punishment, I decided to give it one more try as customer service and I figured out what the issue might be (the model number that Raynox and Etronics use are very similar for the black and silver lens). And wouldn't you know it, they sent me the silver one again even after they told me they were special ordering one from Raynox.
Well, now I am sending this fourth one back and finally getting my refund. Customer service is great, shipping is ultra fast, but the warehouse/packaging leaves a lot to be desired."
