"Still waiting for my part. I don’t think USPS is right for the delivery. It’s been almost 2 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"USPS claimed they don’t have it"
"Fast shipping, all order was correct, and online instructions were spot on. I would recommend adding some software reinstall instructions after installing a new hard drive. Found that info afterward through other website (not Apple, which wasnot very helpful. Thx!"
"I repaired the battery exactly how I was supposed to, calibrated the battery correctly, and it worked for a couple of days and now it won't turn on so huge waste of money."
"Completely met my expectations and then some. High quality heads, high quality drivers!"
"I ordered two tools needed to open a late 2010 MacBook Air and remove the SSD. The drive goes back to the original owner for data recovery today. Beyond that, the Mac Book Air gets some additional diagnostics to see if it can be returned to service with a new SSD.
iFixit has been central to this job, which I'm doing as a favor for a friend. Thank you for making this process entirely painless."
"Part was exactly what I needed and wonderful guides on how to swap it out. Love iFixit"
"The customer service was great - I was able to place a return after misreading a product title. The guides were very helpful. It was a bit unclear at first that you essentially run the guide in reverse to put things back together, but once figured out it was hardly an issue. The issues with iFixit starts with the screen assembly. While I did not expect a 100% legit Apple assembly I was disappointed to see physical imperfections on the back (inside) and front (outside) of the display. There is a small chip off the front of the display and the back was not aligned properly. The display itself has a strong cool/blue prominence that Apple displays are known not to have. Additionally there appears to be slight blueshift and maybe refresh issues with the display. This particular issue is hard to nail down based on the age of the 6s, but scrolling comparisons appear to less smooth on this new assembly. The camera seemed fine, but adequate testing was not done. Ultimately I loved the toolkit and guides, but would think twice before buying an assembly. For an iPhone 6s trying to get through its final years makes sense, but I would not want the equivalent assembly on an iPhone Xs."
"... but then I noticed lines forming in my phones screen and some major bugging out of the hope button on the display. I'm giving it a few days to just rest but I'm hoping that this isn't permanent. The image was fantastic and clear and the assembly with the ifixit tool kit is easy to understand and do. However as I stated after a week it seems to have gone bad, either this was a manufacturing mishap with the screen itself or it was an error on my part. The customer service was amazing and the product was great for the first few days but I don't know if I can see myself shelling out another $200 for another one of these screens, it's just too much money."
"Bought this primarily to build a new PC and it worked for the most part no real complaints.
I do wish that there was a fatter/shallower phillips head bit, however. The chassis for my PC came with overtightened screws in it and I had to use a power drill with a bit that could grip them (even after I stripped them with the iFixit bits.
Also, the anti-static band; the clip for it couldn't really hang onto anything I attached it to when slightly stretch the cord. Maybe instead of an alligator clip, something similar to a lanyard bulldog clip.

"Product was great. It did take a little long to ship but that’s ok. Definite recommend "
"I was a little hesitant in doing this repair myself but the kit provided everything I needed to get the phone taken apart. The only struggle I had was removing the adhesive from the battery. It broke half way through the removal process despite my best attempts to remove it as slowly as possible. After this happened I just took my phone outside and pried the battery out (outside for safety in case it decided to go south) but the battery didn't complain, it popped out easily and I on my way to repairing my phone. The whole process took about an hour because of the battery slowing me down. I wanted to take pictures and do a video but I was too afraid of taking my focus off the most important part which was fixing my phone. All in all the process was very simple and the kit made things incredibly easy. I highly recommend adding the kit to every purchase even if you don't think you need it because for the price you pay, you won't find quality tools for this price if purchased separately."
"All fine but I have a compatibility problem with the new part and my S8+ (G955N), I removed the new part and I bought another on other website because the good part is unavailable on Ifixit store.
So double check the compatibity before purchasing.
The after market service is very hard to find on website."
"Our first time doing a screen replacement was slow but successful. Very pleased with the new screen and tools that came with the part. A hair dryer worked better for us than the iOpener although we were afraid we would overheat it."
"iFixIt is a quality business that sells quality equipment. The community their building with user submitted guides is amazing. Hands down the best place to go if you like to tinker and want to repair any of your electronics.
The battery replacement I ordered for my Nexus 9 is the exact same oem battery that was in the device, minus some sharpie crossing out the HTC label :P.
The guide was a user submitted one, with pictures and descriptions of what to do and issues to avoid. Replacement went smooth and the Nexus 9 is running so much better.
