So I was led here by an online community of DYI's and sure enough, I got more than I needed for less that what I originally paid. Flash Forward four days after my order and 30 minutes after my toolset arrived and my screen was replaced and computer up and running. Thanks so much for being awesome!! "

"I was able to open my late 2013 13 inch MacBook Pro with Retina display, disconnect the the battery, and force it to turn on without a functioning power button. I still need to buy an external keyboard because I can’t type my password with several other nonfunctional keys, but that is not related to my experience with iFixit. One hiccup that I had was that I was unable to screw the back of the Mac back on as nicely as it was before I opened it, but I don’t blame iFixit for that. It was most likely done by a machine in the factory. Apple should make it easier to open up their products that people buy and have full ownership of. Thank you iFixit for preventing me from going to the Genius Bar and potentially spending hundreds of dollars on fixing a very out of warranty Mac when all I need to do is disconnect the battery and use an external keyboard which I completely don’t mind as I rarely use my MacBook Pro in a mobile environment. I’m due for an upgrade but am still saving up."

"My screen wasn’t working any they made me feel like they didn’t believe me and have me do all theses steps to see if I would work. If didn’t same result. When my screen was send the wires we all bent. "

"The screen assembly included the parts that were supposed to be transferred from the previous screen (earpiece, flex cable, fingerprint reader). That made the process extremely easy.

Digitizer works as good as original and the assembly fit the back case perfectly.

Don't hesitate to pay this price, it's way worth it."

"The cost was reasonable, the instructions were excellent and most importantly, the GPS on my iphone is now working!! My only disappointment was the time it took to receive the package. I ordered it on 11/1/2018 and I received it on 11/9/2018. Since it was shipped from Valencia, CA to Sacramento, CA (351 miles), 7 working day to receive the package seems too long, unless it was strapped to the back of a squirrel. The shipping cost was $5.00 also reasonable. I still gave it 5 stars because I am happy with the final results and I'm now over the shipping delay, but I just had to mention it...

"iFixit shipped products promptly and everything shows up as ordered. It was a very nice kit. However, I am not a phone repair tech and will not attempt to be again in the future. Follow the instructions which we great but without the experience/feel for it, ended up breaking the screen withing the first few mins attempting to get to the battery. Totally my fault. Could have ordered up a replacement screen and continued with the repair but opted to go for a replacement device instead. "

"Ordered the part, and it arrived promptly. Using the directions on the site, as well as the video, changing the battery out was a piece of cake on my iPhone 5s. I did mess up on the battery and the adhesive strip on removal, but the directions covered that. The only partially bad part was my glass came off the digitizer(sp?) slightly, though it still works fine, and at this point, I'm confident I can replace the screen as well if it does become an issue!"

"It was fantastic. This is the second time I used the fixit tools on two jobs now.
The replacement screen had all the originally installed components on it except the touch button on the center. Which was a quick replacement from old cracked screen to new screen. The new screen came with camera, audio. For the price, it was fantastic considering i didnt have to transfer the rest of the components.
