"Placed some orders with IHerb end of Feb'10. One of the orders is still outstanding. Have now emailed IHerb twice who have basically just restated that USPS Airmail is not traceable.They added to my dissatisfaction by saying and I quote "IHerb will not refund your account if you choose this shipping method and your order is lost". Maybe they should state this clearly on their website. I agree with previous comments -IF you order from AUSTRALIA, be aware that you may be out of pocket through no fault of your own.I know of other Vitamin companies in Australia who resend the goods at their own expense. Perhaps, IHerb could learn something from them. Wonder how may others in Australia have been caught up with the same problem."

Last order never arrived, although they did charge me, they showed zero interest in chasing it up, so basically I might as well set light to my money and save myself the time and hassle, even though I have spent thousands with them previously.
I told them to remove my account, they couldn't care less that they were losing my custom and that of those I had recommended iHerb to."

"Believe it or not, I ended up here when I googled for any possible comments about whether some/many of the customer product reviewers on iHerb are actually shills. I kind of doubt it, but I suddenly wondered how almost every product is rated four and a half stars (out of five). But then, people do like their supplements (and I have to admit that the only two reviews I've written were five-stars...though after further use I would now rate one of them a 1 and the other a 3-4).
I decided to post here when I saw that they only had a 6.53 rating over the last six months, down from an 8+ before. I don't know about the product reviews (which are very helpful, if you take them with a grain of salt), but as an herb/supplement supplier iHerb is amazingly good, and if anything has gotten BETTER in the past six months! First, the selection, layout and prices are great. They virtually always ship same day (next day if you order after 1 pm PT), and the shipping prices are the lowest I've ever seen (and that's before you get to the free shipping level). And -- I don't know how they do it -- they manage to get USPS to almost always deliver First Class from California to the Midwest in 2 days! Typically, I'm lucky if I can get first class from others (personal letters, other merchant shipments) from CA in *3* days.
In years of ordering, only once did I have to argue with them about anything... can't even recall what it was. I did have one rare problem recently, where I ordered a package overnight UPS (first time ever), and they provided it to the shipper too late to make it here. (It was ordered late Wednesday night for delivery Friday). I wrote on SUNDAY (when they are closed) and got an answer back within a half-hour! They apologized and immediately issued a credit for the full overnight shipping. When I got the package on Monday it looked a bit crushed in, and the cardboard looked as if it had gotten kind of wet and then dried. (Usually the packages arrive in great shape, and if the order is small they use a conveniently-small box). So I wrote again and they quickly replied that, while the products should be fine since (as I described to them) they were still tightly sealed, they would issue a refund if I sent it back. (I kept 3 of the items in the order and returned 3.) Again recently I wrote them on a Sunday to inquire about a product, and again they wrote back within and hour.
Overall, I've had dozens of orders with iHerb, and they are an absolute pleasure to deal with (though I still wonder if some of the reviewers just might be shills...)."
"Item was in stock. Placed this order late on Friday, 2/26. On Saturday I got email confirmation with a tracking number that order has been shipped. I am thinking "no way. this is weekend". Order arrived today as expected to be delivered within 5-7 business days.

"Until November 2009 I was very satisfied with customer service, products and international shipment to Europe(average 8-10 days, often even less).
Since than international shipment has become terrible. Delivery time since november now is 4-5 weeks. I wonder if their policy is to collect a certain quantity of international orders before offering them to International Airmail to be send in bulk to Frankfurt/Europe. If it is like this you'll be lucky if your order belongs to the last ones en unlucky if they still need to collect many other orders first.
I wonder if the confirmation mail that your order has been shipped out actually means that your order has only been packed.
I'd rather pay the few extra $ more to get the fast 'old' international shipment back...
I don't know why and what iHerb changed but until now I don't find this positive.
Any way I am satisfied about package, products, prices and customer service dealing with other subjects than shipment.

"Using iHerb's reorder button, the wrong vitamin was accidently shipped to me. It took 2 weeks over the holiday to arrive. When I called, I was treated very poorly. I could not order the correct vitamin online unless I wanted to order from the Japanese website. So, iHerb charges me $12 to FedEx the correct vitamin next day and then I spent $11 to ship back the wrong order. iHerb still has not refunded me these extra shipping charges. The 2 iHerb reps were very rude and do not understand the first rule of Customer Service. They were very hard to work with and never uttered one word of apology for shipping the wrong item that took much longer than usual to arrive. Yes, iHerb is $8 cheaper per bottle but look at the $22 extra I spent on shipping!!! THESE vitamins are great by the way. We're just going to order from the more expensive place unless iHerb goes through some re-training."
"Worst possible customer experience!! Do not, I repeat do NOT order from this site if you live abroad.
After informing the company that my order had not arrived (after 8 weeks), they told be to wait another few weeks. After 6 addicional weeks, more than 3 months in total, the order never arrived. I asked for a reshipment or a refund. What I got instead was a response saying that the order cannot be traced and that their not responsable for the mail system's loss. Summary, I've paid for a product I never received and they won't refund the purchase price.

I placed an order from iherb to be shipped to Australia & things went smoothly until we were slugged with a hefty customs handling bill. The bill came to more than half of what i payed for the whole order so any savings i felt i got were quickly eliminated. I will probably cease to place any more orders untill iherb can work out an agreement with Australia."

"I ordered Prelief from IHerb with International Shipping to Spain. Firstly I have to say IHerb was the cheapest place I could find to buy this on the internet - and I have searched far and wide. I saved over £20 using them rather than a UK site or Ebay. Their international shipping rates are extremely fair - I've not come across another US website so reasonable. Eight days later and I have my package here in Spain - I cannot fault their service and to me they are a Godsend as I really need this product but could not afford the rip of charges of other websites.
