"I ordered a refurb macbook pro. Received a defective unit with a compromised USB port and swollen battery. Discovered the OWC double billed me as well. One charge for OWC and another for OWCMacSales. Spoke with Cynthia who gave me a RMA to send the defective unit back. Had to call me Capital One card to get the double billing issue resolved as Cynthia never followed through on the issue. Now waiting weeks for the replacement. Cynthia does not return my emails asking what the hell is going on with my computer. This has been a HORRIBLE experience! I used to have a high regard for OWC...I would not recommend this company anymore.

Regarding your Mac, I can confirm that we have received it, and Cynthia has been diligently updating you with the progress. On May 22nd, she informed you that we had resolved the USB-C port issue and were replacing the battery.
Concerning the double charge, I assure you that it was not ignored. On May 20th, Cynthia notified you that we identified the double charge and had issued a refund. As mentioned in her email to you, it can take 5-8 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
We deeply regret any frustration this situation has caused. One of our representatives will reach out to you shortly with further updates.
