"Placed an order, my card was charged instantly, next day I get an email saying my order is cancelled. No response from them as to why it was cancelled. Never got a refund, had to file a chargeback with my bank "

When we charge your card the charge is just a hold which is released instantly on our end once the order is canceled. Your financial institution would then need to release the hold on their end as well to see the authorization disappear. ”
