Salsbury renegged on refund.

"I ordered the mailbox,
Victorian Mailbox - Surface Mounted - Beige
Model #: 4460BGE
About a month later, I received the mailbox.
It was too heavy for me to lift or remove from the container.
I tried to find a handyman to mount it.
When I did, the mailbox in the container was not the mailbox I ordered.
Your company finally admitted it was not what I ordered and agreed to a full refund.
I have yet to received a refund.

Damaged goods!

"I received my mailbox and was shocked and disappointed that it arrived damaged. I contacted your customer service representative and provided pictures of the damage and requested instructions/options to fix/replace mailbox. I was told your company would put a claim against the carrier responsible for my delivery. I have not been contacted by your company or the carrier regarding any responsibility with the damaged mailbox. I cannot in good faith recommend your company or the carrier until my damaged mailbox is replaced or my money is refunded. Please provide me instructions for return.

Mail house and post

"Quality of product good. Color of mail house - not as ordered but not worth the trouble to return for original color. Mounting post - the bolts to attach the mail house to the post were wrong ( too large and not hex bolts). Called customer service to resolve. They have sent supposedly correct bolts but haven't received them yet."

Poor communication cost me $$$

"When placing the order the website said 1 to 2 weeks for delivery except for custom items. I was not ordering anything custom. I placed my order and received a confirmation email that said "Orders usually ship within 1 - 2 business days ". This was good news since this is all we were waiting for to open our store. After a week I had not received the order which seemed strange since we are only a few hours from their facility. I called and was told that it would be 2 to 3 weeks before my order would ship. Very disappointed in the poor communication and false promises!"

I did an online chat to get correct locks that I need and was advised someone would contact me about the problem. I was sent an RMA for the return, but nobody bothered to tell me that I could or could not be helped and if I could receive the correct locks. I now assume it is up to me to find a resolution. usually, don't complain but you asked. "

Mailboxes does not answer emails

"I ordered a replacement lock for an old mailbox 3 years ago. I never installed it because I could to get the old screws out. I had a professional come in early November, who was able to get the screws out and installed this lock. When tightening down the screws in the new lock, the lock would not work, so the screws had to be left loose. I contacted Mailboxes by email and never got a reply. So I just ordered a new lock. Then I get a notice of shipment of both the lock I ordered and another order that I did not place. The one I did not place was made by Mailboxes, and actually arrived first. In it were 2 locks. An old style lock, and a new style one. My original lock was an old one. Mailboxes uses the same part number for both old and new so unless you know that, you will get the new style. The old style is NOT listed on their website. Both locks included screws, but they were the same long screws for the new design and I need short screws for the old style lock. I still cannot install my new "old style" lock. I wrote 2 emails to customer service. I had first called, but was left on hold over 15 minutes. So I chatted on their web site but was told I had to call. Once again, I was put on hold. CRICKETS. Nothing. So Once again, I sent an email and also asked about a return authorization for the second lock that I had just purchased. I got no response. I am now past the time they accept returns. This was one horrible experience and is totally unacceptable in this day and time. I do not know who the competition is for Mailboxes, but I would recommend looking elsewhere."

Customer service is non existent

"I bought a mailbox lock 3 years ago but couldn’t install it as my old lock was rusted and the screws were stripped. After 3 years I had a professional install it, but when the screws were tightened down, the lock would not work, so the screws had to be left loose which isn’t satisfactory. I contact the company 3 times by email but got no response. I then went a bought another lock.
The company ships both my order, and a replacement order for both an old style lock and a new style lock, both with the same part number. They both come with long screws, but you cannot use long screws with the old style lock. I call the company, but get put on hold for service, but after 20+ minutes,I hang up. They have a chat feature on their web site so I start a chat which gets answered immediately. I explain my situation, and they tell me I have to CALL customer service where I get put on hold again.
So I once again send an email to their customer non service, asking for correct screws and a return authorization for the new lock that I bought, since it’s the new style and u need the old style . ( only the new style is on their web site, with the same part number as the old style but no mention of the old style. I get no reply.

Don't pay for expedited shipping! It's a waste of money

"I am pleased and happy with the product and ordering, the delivery is where you fell short. I made a ridiculous amount of money to have the items shipped quicker, they never were. They came at the normal time frame. What was the point in paying extra for a service I never received? Thats my only complaint."

TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM XPO

"WORST SERVICE EVER. They ship via XPO. I have called this company XPO 6 times, and everyone tell me my order should arrive on the 10th. It's now the 24th and still haven't received it. Currently waiting for them to pick up the phone been holding for 15 mins now, and the phone is just ringing. FIND SOMEONE ELSE."
