"I ordered a Steampunk pair of pants and a jacket for my fiance for our September wedding. I provided the correct measurements to Milanoo (I know how to measure- I would have made the outfit myself, however after Hurricane Sandy my house burned down and we're living in a studio apartment until our new home is built so I have none of my former sewing materials and machines). Needless to say I do know how to measure a person. I provided the EXACT measurements that were required.
When the items came we were more than excited- it seemed our misfortune was fading and we could again look towards our wedding. Well, when my fiance tried on the clothing - it was horrible. The pants waist falls 7 inches below the waist and there is no room in the back for my fiance's backside. The circumference of the thighs was not correct and they are too tight around.
The Jacket is no better. My fiance can hardly fit his biceps through the armsyche and if he attempts to lower his arms he would indeed rip the back of the jacket.
I contacted Milanoo about these problems and even showed photos of how poorly the items fit. I requested the ability to send the items back (at my expense) to have the mistakes corrected. I was then told that custom items may not be returned. I explained I did not want to return the items I wanted them fixed so they would fit. I was told in early to mid May to send photos of the items on my fiance with the tape measure showing the exact measurements and to prove I did not make the mistake. On or about May 10, I sent back 10 photos of each measurement that was incorrect(i.e. where the waist of the pants fell 7 inches below his natural waist, where the armsyche measurements were off, the chest and back measurements correctly given, etc). I received an email stating that they would look into the matter. On May 20 I emailed the company again and re attached the photos on their website and asked what would be done to rectify THEIR mistakes. A response email was sent by Milanoo assuring me that they would soon contact me with a resolution. TOday is June 1, 2013 and I have still not heard back. We want these items for our wedding and are still willing to ship them back (at our expense) to have them corrected. However with the expense of building a new house, moving, storage and buying items we are not in the position to afford to purchase new wedding items from Milanoo or anywhere else. It's a shame too- our wedding has a Steampunk theme and I would have recommended Milanoo to all of our guests wanting to participate in the costumed look of the wedding (several hundred, I might add). I cannot, in good conscience recommend this company to anyone...ever.
UPDATE: 6/4/2013
Someone did respond to me and asked me to email them photos, but only attach 5MBs worth of data to the email. I have over 10 photos to show them. Therefore to do as Milanoo requested, I sent 3 emails with attachments as requested. I then received an email asking me to send them photos of the clothing on my fiance with the measurements. I sent then 9 photos of my fiance with the clothing on and the measuring tape around him showing the actual (and might I add- accurate) measurements). It seems as if Milanoo does not want to really help in this situation - they keep asking for photos they have had since May, they keep asking for the exact same proofs over and over again. All I want is for the company to take the clothing back, FIX THE INCORRECT ITEMS and return the clothing to me. The pants that Milanoo sent has (for lack of a better word) no butt room and therefore do not fit him. The Jacket has not bicep room and therefore does not fit him. This needs to be corrected or my money refunded. This back and forth BS asking for the same photos over and over and over again is utterly ridiculous and not good customer service.
