Hermes Did not collect

"Ordered for collection family presents to be delivered up north they never came to collect, it's still on there website collection in progress what a load of crap will never use again. And there is no email to contact them nor tel number theirs a chat line but i had to wait 28 minutes."

"Ordered nx day delivery. Advised they attempted delivery. Thats a big lie no one came to my door??? Next day same message they coming to redeliver then at 6.30pm sorry running late will attenpt delivery nx working day. Lies lies and more lies. Disgraceful service. Never again!!"

Parcel to be picked up 2 weeks ago, never done, added on tracking it has been collected and never reacted to query. Still have no clue where my supposed to be pick up might be in the universe... told me now to rebook myself with new payment!!!! CHAT takes hours to get through, kicks you out of the line on a regular basis and doesn't do a thing for you! Phone lines are on voicemail 24/7! NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN! DISAPPEAR HERMES!!! YOU ARE A MESS, A SHAME AND THE WORST SCAM ON EARTH!

Stay away

"All ways leave at door or put in a bin instead of deliver to my neighbour's as requested if I was not in or say they have delivered when not and I had one driver coming back to my door calling me a liar about a parcel I never got all ways get blank cards in the door even if I am in and said delivered I dont know why companies use this service used I've seen and used I refuse to use a company that uses them or pay extra for delivery from a diffrent service"

Appauling service! Ordered goods from online retailer on 1st December 2019, it has been sat in their depot for days. Now the tracker says item has been delivered and signed for. I can categorically state I haven't received it. It was my daughter's Christmas present Ffs! I can't find any help on the useless website nor a bloody number!!!

Terrible!!

"I paid for a Next Day Delivery on a Wednesday. When I tracked the parcel on the following day, I found out that is was picked up a day later early afternoon(2pm)!! Still not delivered on Friday evening at 7.30pm!!! This was a birthday present and should have been arrived next day! There is no way to directly contact them. This was the first and the very last time I used Hermes! Appalling service!! Disgusted!"

Disgusting

"Shamefull to call this company a legitimate courier. They lie, parcels get 'lost' (a lot), delivery dates constantly get moved back, tracking is incorrect. How nothing has been rectifyed is beyond me, how they are still trading is beyond me. "

Lost my PC with them

"Delivery my computer and they lost it somehow. Took me four weeks and five online chat to get a response. Phone line is non existence. Need eBay order to prove your purchase as if they assume eBay is the only place we buy stuff from."

There should be an option of ZERO rating for Hermes

"I purchased an item on eBay, I didn’t realise that it would be delivered by Hermes, actually it hasn’t been delivered almost a month after purchase. The seller tells me the parcel was sent but returned for reason unknown - I sincerely cannot understand why they would need to return the parcel as on previous occasions when I have been unlucky enough to have a delivery by Hermes I have had parcels dumped in an unsafe place, left outside in the rain and parcels which needed a signature were left but whoever took the liberty of signing as there was nobody in the house, in fact on 2 occasions we weren’t even in the COUNTY so what is to be made of this well from reading Hermes reviews it seems to be very apparent that the delivery drivers take it upon themselves to sign for parcels, now in my opinion that is illegal yet it’s happening constantly.
My parcel was reposted on 3rd December and the seller supplied me with a tracking number, I checked the tracking number on 5th and found it stated to contact the retailer. On 6th December I logged a not received notice with eBay, today I have checked Hermes tracking yet again and I’m shocked to find the date has been changed to 10th, that can only be done by Hermes surely.

This company really should not be allowed to trade, it has to be the very, very worst delivery company in the UK, it’s disgusting that they are allowed to carry on trading and in my opinion should be closed down with immediate effect.
I can find no way to contact Hermes and I read reviews time and time again where many others are in the same situation. As I understand it only the sender will be dealt with but as in my case I HAVE PAID THE COST OF DELIVERY so they should be accountable to me and all the other people in this same situation.

Hermes CEO - Your company are happy to take money from people but your company is NOT fulfilling, within a reasonable time, to deliver goods.

My advice to anyone who is considering using Hermes as your delivery option is GO ELSEWHERE, THERE ARE RELIABLE AND HONEST COURIERS/DELIVERY COMPANIES OUT THERE and let’s be fair I am certain that most people would rather pay extra and receive what they order. Being cheap does not mean trusted, reliable or happy to be of help if something goes wrong. Hermes don’t give a fig for their customers

Utter shambles of a courier company

"If I could give this shambles of a courier company 0 stars I would without hesitation! In the last two weeks they’ve managed to lose two of my deliveries. What an astonishing record that is! Both times I’ve received daily updates advising it would be delivered that day by my ‘friendly local courier’ only for the tracking to be revised to ‘a slight delay’ within a couple of hours. On both occasions this has gone on for well over a week. The first I’ve already had a replacement for from Amazon. The second - £300 of roman blinds - they’re still pretending that they’re going to deliver rather than actually admit they’ve lost them and pay compensation. And, of course, their customer service is non-existent so nothing ever gets resolved... Meanwhile, my kitchen remains unfinished as we head towards Christmas. To say I’m fuming is an understatement!"

Liars and Criminals

"Say they RARELY lose parcels but if theu do thats ok considering how many thousands we move each day. Not real apology.

Probably gathered by now my parcel has been lost. They knew about tbis on Saturday and despite chasing it they refused to tell me it was lost until I pushed and pushed to find out what was going on.

Asked why nobody was notified and rold it takes time at least 48 hours as the local depot has to let the overseas contact centre know who then tells the Customer IF you are lucky.

Wverything is computerised and nesr impossible to speak to a human being even webchat is a computer not a person. Worked out thoigh get putting the wrong tracking number in and the computer will eventually put you through to a consultant overseas who will alao read from a script and if anything is lost they immediately start lying to you. I was furious but tried to remember they Re doing their job it is HERMES that instructs them to lie to you.

Heremes are COWBOYS and should be avoided at all costs. So should thr seller, who in my case was Fusion Online via Ebay (also on Amazon) they flat out refuse to assist.

I will never use Ebay agaim due to their partnership with Hermes. Budget should not mean zero Customer Care or acceptable loss of packages. This company should be closed diwn immediately for their cowboy attitude.

Incompetent and Uncaring

"Rarely have I ever encountered a company that holds its customers in such disdain. I had a next day delivery that still hasn't arrived nearly three days later. I can't get hold of anyone to resolve the problem, they don't answer their phones, emails, or tweets at their Twitter account and their help system on their web site is pointless. Moreover, not only have they failed to deliver when I checked the tracking on their site, they claimed to have attempted a delivery that I know for a fact did not happen. So not only are they incapable of carrying out their obligations, they lie about it too. AVOID like the plague!!!"
