"Wanted try Hermes, because of pandemic situation Royal Mail is erratic. Ok. I had been sent 14 items. 9 - had been lost, 2 - were damaged. And if you want ask for a refund you must call to chargeable number. And in my situation i will pay more for telephone call, than will get my refund. Absolutely terrific and disgusting service! avoid! avoid! avoid! "

Thanks for getting in touch with us about parcel number 8486850251672585.
We are sorry for the delay in response.
Unfortunately, our depot have confirmed that the contents of this parcel have become damaged within our network.
Due to health and safety reasons, this parcel and the remaining contents have been disposed of at the depot.
As you have opted for the postable service, we are unable to offer compensation due to items generally being of low value and also due to their size are delivered through the letterbox.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused.

"I am absolutely fuming, First time I am using Hermes to send handmade items to family and they LOST BOTH OF THEM. The items cannot be replaced since it was a unique piece of artwork. I am devastated and the people they were sent to are crushed. "Please just throw your parcel in the bin it’s got a better chance of getting there and it will be easier to find when not delivered. Don’t bother customer services you will have a better result smashing your face into the table!!!, which you will if you tackle there auto bot or phone lines.

Missed two collections no contact made at all. Have to speak to some useless bot that will only let you continue if you have a tracking number, which of course you don't if they haven't collected your parcel yet.
They don't even bother to reply to their customers reviews, impossible to contact as phone lines blocked and no email address or human available.
Shocking and disgraceful company with shambolic customer service. The only glimmer of hope I have is that this company will collapse eventually due to it's complete negligence and inability to do the only thing people pay it for (deliver parcels)! You almost have to laugh!"

They said I didn’t receive parcel because building is closed! Even though we are receiving post everyday and there is team on site 24/7. I didn’t receive my parcel because of their incompetence, not because hotel is closed. They are laying that courier arrived.. well happened that at the hotel we have cctv, and when I checked no one even approached the door at the time they said.
Trying to contact them ? Impossible! They reached me out only after they sent back my parcel to sender. Customer service.. the worst. Exchanging emails with them since I should receive my parcel.. two weeks already, and they can’t reply properly to my emails.
Before purchasing anything online I would highly suggest to check who they working with! If it’s this crazy hermes, request other courier to make sure everything will arrive on time and no troubles."

"The worst delivery company. Not sure if any of the employees have ever heard or know what a bell/door is...and that those items are there to be used. I understand the Covid situation and keeping distance...but when the delivery man deliberately leaves my package at my doorstep without a knock or ringing the bell then there’s something blatantly wrong with this company and teaching there employees. It’s not the first time I’ve had this issue. It was a hunch that told me to look outside and lo and behold, my package was there (not knowing how long for) ready for the taking. It’s been 6hrs and just now I’ve been updated that my package as been delivered to my house... I hate Hermes....I’ve caught them in the act also throwing my package in the garden without ever going to my front door...told the guy to get his **** back to my door and deliver it properly...his excuse was that he couldn’t find my door....I’m sorry but my back garden is harder to find than my front door....there’s an alleyway and you would have to count houses to find my garden so I don’t understand the logic in that one. Anyways, if I could rate this company minus stars...it would be minus infinity stars that’s how terrible this company is. Plus I have videos of the garden situation, might have to blackmail them into actually doing their job. "
"I have ordered a few things off Hermes the past few weeks. The first parcel never left the local depot (in northern Ireland btw) and thankfully got my money back... One that was due for today was delivered and signed for (nobody in my household signed for it including me), so I then check the neighbours of which they looked at me as if I had to heads (they didn't have it)... I then tried to contact them of which it refers to stupid ai customer service which frustrates you more... The fact that this is allowed is stupid... Now you are probably saying, `Oh its probably due to this virus'... No, it's not and I can say that because I reordered the same product that the first package contained and it is from Germany delivered by DHL. I was sceptical at first but I really needed the product so I ordered.. 6 days later it had arrived and yet Hermes can even deliver products within the UK. Its a joke...DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!"
"Absolutely **** fuming! Not only did i order my packages yes 2 of them to be collected from my house on Friday 10th, the courier never came and after being on the phone for an hour and a half, They finally answered and told me to wait until the next working day. 5 days later the lady came and collected the parcels and didn't leave me a receipt even after I asked for one! When you think its bad its only getting worse... Not only did I suffer through this but I now also have a Paypal case open as one of the packages I sent has came up that they haven't even collected it from my house?! Penultimatly, after being on the phone for a consecutive hour they told me there's nothing they can do about it then also to top it off, till the 21st (today) one of the packages still hasn't been delivered and not sure if it ever will be. Lastly to make this even worse than I didn't think it could get I receive an email asking an invoice of £6 telling me that a HOODIE I sent was overweight by 2.65kg! At first I had to look twice to make sure it wasn't a joke! Im not paying anything and if anything they should be giving me a refund. After attempting to call a THIRD time I waited for an hour before I was told there's nobody that can talk to me and I should call back another time. Worst experience ever and I will never even come close to thinking about ever using hermes. I would rather have paid royal mail double the price."
"I was meant to have two parcels from two different companies delivered. I was out at the time but still received an email stating the parcels had been delivered to my address !!
Apparently signed for by Mr Denis but no one of that name lives at this address. No card left by driver stating if left with neighbor. Bad enough at this point but when you try and contact Hermes to sort out what is going on you can not get through to a real person and can only get either an automated web chat of phone line which no mater what you try simply say your parcel has been delivered !!!!
I therefore do not have my parcels and have no way of contacting them, absolutely useless and would not recommend any ones uses this company - stick with the Post Office"
"Hermes have delivered My parcels to the wrong address three times. Two times last year and now. And the worst is when I track my parcel in their website It appears as (“your parcel has been delivered to your address and signed for”) and there are no mistake in the address.

In the current lock down we have received parcels from DPD, parcel force and post office, all of them have performed extremely efficient and exceeded expectations.!.
It is a fact, Hermes worst company ever. avoid them at all costs Completely & Utterly incompetent .
