I called to get a another identical light and to my surprise they said they would send a new unit out and send a prepaid waybill lable too. I was very surprised they would do this. I received both and sent back the defective led light. I think they did charge my credit card for the second unit until the get the first one back but that is fair. "I ordered a Ebony Epiphone Dot Electric Guitar from this site. I often see making an expensive purchase like this over the internet as a last resort, but I couldn't find this particular model anywhere (Sunburst, and Cherry is widely available but Natural and Ebony finish are almost nowhere anymore).

ZZounds, was one of the first results I found when searching for the guitar, and of the few that appeared to have them in stock. It appeared as a legitimate site, so I decided to purchase it from them. They claimed they had a NEW one in stock, and I even called up their customer service to assure this was true I made the purchase and 4 days later, it was delivered rather promptly.

This is when things really got interesting. First of all, the box for the guitar was delivered already opened. I take out the guitar and noticed that many of the normal factory packaging equipment and stickers (including the stickers for the box itself) were missing. I look at the serial number/warranty labels and noticed the guitar was manufactured around 10/07. I look closely around the guitar and noticed that directly beneath the headstock, were two cracks on both sides of the neck with the wood even chipping off. I was clearly given a refurbished guitar (and poorly refurbished at that), that was previously damaged at the neck.

I call up the company and was promised an exchange for a new guitar as promised, and a return label for the damaged one. I received the new shipment the very next day (they're fast, I'll give them that), but sure enough not only was the box once again already opened, but this "new" guitar was manufactured even earlier than the old one, around 02/07, almost an entire year ago! I look closely at the neck under a light, and I didn't have to squint to see yet another set of cracks under the headstock, far less visible than before, but clear as day once I took it under a light, I could even feel the cracks upon further observation. I was once again sent another refurbished guitar.

I called back up the company and am now awaiting two return labels. I still have both guitars, now back in the original boxes with everything they came with, sitting in my room, and will send them back immediately once I get the labels. The company claims that I will not be refunded my money until they receive back both guitars, nice of them to do that. I now have to way within 7 business days for both labels, than I have to wait another week or two for the guitars to be returned back to them.

This site has had mostly positive feedback and I don't know how after this experience. Maybe most of the customers they've had don't know better, as I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to point out the cracks, if I didn't know as much as I do about guitars. I'm convinced that this site is clearly ran by a bunch of scammers that sell refurbished items but sell and advertise them as new equipment. Wouldn't recommend to anybody, avoid at all costs."

"Just purchased a Crate BT50 and a Behringer Bass V-Amp. The Crate is brand new and the V-amp is from their "b-stock". I was considering just purchasing a Line6 Studio 110, but reconsidered when I looked a various reviews as well as posts on their own forums.

I actually sent in my order on their website around 00:30 8/27/07. By 10:00 the order was approved, and by 16:00 the order was confirmed as shipped. I received an email for the Order Received and Order Shipped stage. However, I have not received a UPS tracking number as of yet. If I do not receive a number by mid-day 8/28/07, I'll be calling them...

Both items are coming via UPS ground, so it will be interesting to see how long and in what shape they arrive in...

Just logged into their website tracking device. Using your invoice and your Zip Code you can get tracking numbers. However, you do have to C&P the numbers over to the UPS website to check on them. This is a minor inconvenience, as some sites have a clickable link with the UPS tracking number. With any luck my stuff will arrive soon(ish)...

According to UPS website, my order is in transit. If if had the budget I would spring the extra $ for 2 day shipping. However, the bump up from free is pretty steep, especially if you are shipping an amplifier/something heavy.

Just got my packages. I was suprised at how well they were packaged.

The BT50 amp was double packed in a a display pack and a shipping pack! The Behringer Bass V-amp was double packed with lots of padding. I'm pretty sure that it would last a UPS world tour without any problems. I'll post a review on harmony-central.com at a later date on both the amp and the amp modeler.

"I am very satified with this company. I bought a blemished guitar from them for a very reasonable price. I made the purchase at 11:00 p.m. on Monday, July 30. I contacted them via email to ask when the item would ship. They answered in less than ten minutes that the guitar would ship that afternoon. Sure enough, my guitar shipped Tuesday afternoon. I had payed extra to have it shipped 2-day shipping. I received my "blemished SG" on Thursday, August 3rd. The guitar arrived in pristine condition. This was actually my first time purchasing an item online and I can say that due to zzounds.com, I will definitely be doing it more often. The guitar has no blemishes at all. On Epiphone's official website, the guitar runs for 80 dollars more than I paid for it. It is in perfect condition, even coming out of the box in tune! It sounds perfect. Perhaps the only thing wrong with it was the strings, but I simply changed them, and now the SG sounds even better! All my friends are envious, and I immediately recommended zzounds.com to them.
