My only concern with Zzounds is their quality assurance process. Several things I have order from them have arrived smudged, dirty or dusty and sometimes poorly packaged. I am suspicious that they may be drop shipping from an independent supplier and, therefore, have no quality assurance at all. It seems like everything I order from them comes from a different place.

Let me be clear, I have always received what I ordered in good time and at a great price. Whenever I had questions, I've always received a timely and adequate response from customer service. I would recommend them and will buy from them again. Still, I think they need to take a more involved, proactive approach to product quality control and packaging. "

But they originally sent me a returned item (gunky fingerprints all over the guitar's tuning keys and missing the labeling that comes on a new one). It had a cracked headstock. (Of course, who knows when the headstock was cracked, right?) I immediately called to make a return and they worked it out with me and even gave me upgraded delivery (after I said I'd pay for that) and shipped me one right out. I am with a small California bank, and they were a royal.. Problem.
Since Zzounds is an online only business they are taking extra security steps to confirm the credit card and my bank was not cooperative at all.
I was calling the Zzounds customer support several times over 3 days and they were always nice, productive, helpful even upgraded my shipping from free to next day air so I would have my Stage Piano by the weekend.
I highly recommend the store.
I received the s90es ( ordered as blemished item) the next day and it was in close to perfect condition. unbeatable in price and service.
