"Got a Epox KT333 chipset from Z-Buy at the end of September. After much testing, I finally figured out the motherboard BIOS was bunk. It kept flashing off and restarting. I checked everything else and by some miracle, about 3 days before the 30 day period was over, the board just didn't work. I called Z-buy the next morning and told them what happened. I had heard horror stories about returning bad equipment and, having never done it before, explained the whole thing. The woman who took my call was kind and told me to hold for my RMA number and I sent it that day. Z-Buy sends everything FED EX and has an account with them so I get tracking info on my item Emailed to me. I will be receiving my new board tomorrow and am pleased. The only complaint is that they were going to charge me a 15% fee if i were to get it cross shipped which seems a bit ridiculous to me. My friend has had stuff from Newegg cross shipped for free everytime. Overall, great company to deal with."

"I needed a hard-to-find motherboard and an Athlon XP 2000+ to complete the computer I'm building. I sent in the order on 10/5, got an email confirmation, said the package would be shipped within 48 hours. On 10/8, I got a confirmation from FedEx with a tracking number, and the package was delivered two days later.
Besides not putting a receipt in the box, (z-buy emails them instead) I am completely happy with them. Would do business again.

"AVOID Z-BUY if you can!!! Do not be mislead by the low z-buy prices! They are onle "on the paper".

On Friday, 10/11/02 I ordered a couple of items from z-buy. The next day I received and e-mail stating that the order was shipped, but three hours later I got another e-mail claiming that the order was cancelled?!?! Anyway, after 3 business days customer service person confirmed that the order was still not shipped. I cancelled the order.

"i made an order and wanted to change it before it shipped. so i sent an e-mail to order support.they did not respond in 24 hours so i sent one to sales. they said it was too late to change because it was already processed. they also did not give me the phone number i asked for. thanks to the thoughtful people here i got the number and a lady said it shipped already but could not supply me with a tracking number. you think a company would want to change in order since i was asking for a more expensive hard drive. i should have ordered from mwave like usual because they give you a phone number on the site. beware of sites that will not give out the phone number. "

"This is not the first time I order from them, but this time I was unfortunate enough to use Amex private payment number instead of regular CC # - guess what - it's been declined. Called them on Sept.4th, gave another regular CC #, it went through. However order got shipped only 2 days later - Fri Sep 6. They use FedEx Saver so it takes about 3 *business* days, got it today. "

"Perhaps most people won't see this since it is only an update. But for the love of respect, ITS CHRISTMAS!!! The people that placed orders close to Christmas and actually expected their order before, should have their head examined! I got one order in only 5 days (ordered on 12-16-02, received it on 12-21-02) I was perhaps lucky with this, but I am also still waiting on a larger order placed a couple of days earlier. Perhaps a little patience is in order and some people should simply not be allowed to rate on this site. I am NOT an employee nor am I paid by Z-Buy or any other store front they use! If you would like, my email is ****@**** for the doubters. I am a Police Officer and Computer Tech. I take this site seriously and wish others would do the same. Have a Merry Christmas.


This is my first evaluation of Z-Buy, but not my first purchase from them. They seem to have this down pat and I have never had a problem with them. In fact, emails have been timely to let me know orders were confirmed, shipped or in one rare case, an item was out of stock. I will continue business with Z-Buy and recommend them to friends and customers.
