"I ordered another stick of ram from Z-Buy, based on thier extremely low prices and my past experience. I placed my order in the middle of the night and when i got up the next day, my order has already been shipped and the tracking number was in my e-mail. Same day shipment just like my last order..... I would give them an A++++, unbeatable prices (on ram at least never checked anything else) and immediate shipping with tracking number sent."

"I've ordered from this company countless times, and each time I havn't received an email with a tracking number or any sort of confirmation that my order was even shipped. Some times it came in late, some times it came in on time. This time it hasn't came in. From the looks of other comments, you might want to stay away from these guys. Is a couple of bucks really worth the PITA?"

"I ordered some parts for about $17.90 including shipping.

Received an automatic message saying I'd get the tracking number in 3 days.

Waited the full 3 days, didn't get any other communication. In the meantime found the parts I needed from a friend and decided to cancel the order.

Emailed customer service asking them to cancel my order because I didn't receive a tracking number.

They emailed back, "The order has been shipped, thank you for shopping with us." Sorry, what part of "I wish to CANCEL this order" don't you understand?

In response to that they replied with the tracking number.

That's fine, if you want to lose another customer. I emailed back but haven't gotten a response to my firm refund request.

I get dozens of requests for recommendations on where online to buy parts. Guess who I will definitely NOT recommend?

"Well, placed the order on a saturday, received an e-mail from fed-ex the following wednesday saying the shipment was sent out. Then later that day, Z-buy cancelled "deleted" the shipment, I send them an email telling them that I WISHED TO CANCEL MY ORDER. They did not respond until today. All the said was that "your order has been shipped". This was about 5 days since i sent my email. Turns out the order is not something that I wanted its a tv tuner. Now I have to RMA it, after telling them I wished the cancel the order...pay addition S&H charges and also the 15%
restocking fee. Stay away, these guys are crooks. Find you stuff somewhere else, spend that extra dollar or two, and save 15-20$ in the long run.


(Update:) After many attempts finally got hold of the RMA department, they want $25 restocking fee on a $50 dollar order. This is after I told them, several times to CANCEL my order.
NEVER EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE.

"Ordered the W.D. 120.0GB (WD1200JB) 7200rpm ATA-100 8MB Cache @ $162.00 OEM, just about the cheapest price on the web at that point, considering I missed the compusa sale. Shippipng was adeqaute though a bit slow. Would buy from these guys again"

"I ordered 2 sticks of 256MB Micron PC2100 DDR Ram and 2 copies of Windows XP Home DSP. I ordered late on the 2nd and the packages arrived on the 6th of December. I have no complaints which means Z-Buy did their job. I suspect I could have gotten a better price on the RAM elsewhere but it is easier for me to get multiple products from one source."

"I ordered a WD1200JB and a PCI controller card a week ago. I haven't been charged yet, despite recieving email confirmations from both Z-buy and fedex. Emailing them seems futile, and I can't find a phone number anywhere on their site. If anyone has a working phone number for them, can you please let me know about it?

Also, seeing as I haven't been charged, I can't block anything through my bank. And since i can't contact them to confirm the order... well, I simply don't know whats going with my purchase.

I'm avoiding this reseller from now on, this hassle is not worth my time, specially during finals week at college.

"Overall good experience but packing for the hard drive could be better. It was shipped in an anti-static bag packed in styrofoam peanuts. The drive was fine though. Fast and reasonable shipping costs and great prices."

"No real problems. They sent me an email saying one of my items were out of stock and they wouldn't be getting anymore and did I want the other items. If I didn't respond in 48 hours they'd canx my order. I told them to send what they had. Then I got an email saying they had everything and were shipping it (?). I received the items in a few days - everything in good order."

"Overall, OK. Nothing special. I purchased from them $120 worth of computer equipment and everything except for one huge empediment: they could not verify my shipping address (which was different from my billing address). I purchased items from other 14 other companies, and they were the only two (Computer Geeks was the other) that didn't confirm it.

Other than that, I have no complaints. Quick responses to email and low prices. If I have the time to deal with unforeseen problems, I will buy from them again.
