"Did an even exchange over the phone. One item was backordered so when it shipped I was overcharged. I called them up and it was fixed no problem.
While it's true that the quality of VS products has been declining, their customer service is still outstanding."

"I was really scared ordering from here because of all the bad reviews online, but I figured worst case scenario I'd just have paypal do a back charge. Everything turned out perfect and I will gladly order again.
Ordered on Nov 24, shipped Dec 2, received 2 weeks later. 1 week to process seems a bit long but maybe they had to create the item for me. 2 week shipping time is normal for anything shipping from China to the US. I don't think people realize it's all the way on the other side of the planet and needs to go through customs etc etc.
Before ordering I used their live help to ask a few questions about the product. It did take a while to connect to someone and at least a half hour for her to find out the answer. I was imagining this poor woman running all the way to the factory to go and check out the item herself. Her English vocabulary is limited, but you just need to phrase things properly and use your brain a little. I don't hold this against them. They are in China after all.
I ordered the Black Belt Fox Fur Rabbit Fur Ladies Long Fur Coat for $129.99. I was skeptical about ordering fur from china. I have received poor quality products from china before, but it was so cheap I had to give it a go. A fur coat at a department store would cost several thousand dollars.
The coat is AMAZING! It has a satin leopard lining. It is light weight but still rather warm. It feels super soft+luxurious. There is some shedding, but isn't noticeable unless you wear all white. The quality is decent. I didn't find any major flaws in the craftsmanship (ie the sleeves are both the same length and it appears cut right.) Is it perfect? No, but you can't tell because it's furry. It doesn't look like a $5000 coat but it definitely looks more expensive than it is.
As for sizing, most people forget that Asians are TINY! Check the measurement chart and SIZE UP! The M size fits like a US XS on me. I'm 5'7 and the bottom is mid thigh length, not knee length like on the model. Asians are short!

"I too did their free promotion thing. I received my order perfectly fine. You have to tell them to stop coming back every week or they will keep bugging you. I got their chipped beef and it was mediocre tasting.
My b/f and friend tried this as well. However for them no truck ever came. They had to keep harassing the customer service. My friend was finally able to get his order after months, however my boyfriend still has not received anything. He waited and waited for the truck to come when they said it would, but nothing ever came. He ended up being late for work on numerous occasions waiting for the truck. Poor customer service."

"I ordered a pair of shoes at night. They shipped it the next day and it ARRIVED ON THE SAME DAY! Never in my life have I ever had something arrive so fast!
Their policies are great. Free shipping both ways and you have a whole year to decide if you want to keep them or not. Their customer service reps are very friendly and helpful.
The prices are a little expensive, but they carry shoes that no one else does and for the service it's worth it. No more worrying about sizes."

"Nordstroms is the BEST STORE EVER!
Their prices and policies are unbeatable. There is free exchanges so you don't have to worry about ordering the wrong size. You can easily return anything to a store at any time. No more buyer's remorse!
The customer service is outstanding. I especially like the Live Chat feature. They are always kinds and courteous. They will look up a product for you in stores if it is out of stock online.
All my orders arrive very fast within a few days. They will notify you immediately if they are out of stock in something.
For stress free shopping, I choose Nordstroms!
Edit (07/05/10): To the people who found my review unhelpful... I shop Nordstroms store and online very frequently and have always been very happy with their service and have never had a problem. How many times have you shopped there? Once?

They have since altered their policies a bit to combat the down economy. It is understandable and they are still better than other department stores out there, but I am disappointed in their new price match and price adjustment policies. I talk to a girl in their live chat and she completely denies the change in policy, which is what makes me angry. If you're going to change the policy that's fine, but don't lie to me about it too."

"Great prices! It took a while to get shipped from the warehouse, but I received my order timely within a week from ordering. The order was split into 2 packages since one was shipping from a different warehouse. No extra shipping fees.

"DO NOT BUY! I ordered from them and nothing came. I waited a month then tried contacting them via email and phone. I got no response. Finally I sent them an email threatening to backcharge and report them and they told me I'd get my money back. I waited a while and I still wasn't refunded so I sent more emails which were refused by their email server. So finally I contacted my credit card company to get my money back."

"The prices are great, no shipping, and discount coupon! They ship pretty fast (remember it's coming from China so it'll take 2 weeks from the day you order). They sent me a picture of my package before shipping, which is sort of strange but nice. My order came with a free dsi stylus and it's surprisingly really nice. I ordered the acekard2i and it works simply by dragging and dropping a few folders onto the memory card. My dsi is version 1.4U. It's great for backing up games."
