Overpriced, quick to take your money, service sub-par; AVOID

"Terrible!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!! After using these guys for many years (I don't know why, but I migrated all my domains here mostly because their name was easy to remember,) I've finally had enough. Migrating out, and tld-list.com helped me decide where to.

Prices: Awful - some of the highest on the market.

Billing: Quick to take your money; will refuse to ever give it back no matter what the circumstances. Auto-renew charges 60 days out, and once they charge you, they will refuse to refund if you decide to cancel one minute after they charge your card.

Support: Non-existent, unless it is to tell you why you are wrong, and can't have a refund.

Interface: CLUMSY! WORST EVER! Entering DNS information takes 20 steps extra versus any other registrars I have ever worked with. Every submission takes you to a confirmation page, where you have to navigate through three pages just to get back to another submission. The IP addresses are broken up in to four fields so you can't cut and paste numbers, instead, you have to either remember the entire number and begin typing, or use a program like NOTEPAD to drag and drop each section of the IP. AWFUL!!! JUST AWFUL!!!!

Loyalty: Don't even get me started. They don't care about you, they don't want to remedy issues, and they don't have to. They have a numbers game, and their easy to remember domain name ensures they will have business for a long, long, time to come.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are sorry to see you go. We value you and your time and opinions so we want to address a few things. You are correct, we are not the cheapest in the industry but we are also not the most expensive, and we offer competitive pricing on many TLDs. Unlike other registrars we are transparent about our pricing, you can find the price of new registrations, transfers, and renewals on every single TLD we offer and we do not have any hidden fees.

We offer refunds whenever applicable and our auto-renew is set to 60 days because the renewal process for some TLDs take longer than others and we work with many country code domains. Auto-renew can easily be turned on and off in your account but we believe it is best to be safe than sorry.

As far as our interface you have given us really great insight. We agree with you that our DNS UI needs work. Your feedback gives us a use case to dedicate development resources to this issue. We will be adding this project to our roadmap so hopefully you can see some improvements soon.

We understand you have not had the best experience with us as of lately but we will be happy if you would give us another chance. Thank you for your support and business over the years. We appreciate you!

Usually good, but bad at following up with slower International registrars.

"We've been waiting almost a week since we paid for a .ZM TLD nameserver change, and yet nothing has changed in the domain. I understand that .ZM and .ZA are unusually bad but dealing with this is why we use 101domain in the first place."

Be very wary of 101Domain

"When I first started using them they were great. They have gone down hill, rapidly approaching the bottom. I routinely have connection issues. When I ask about the plethora of server timeouts, I am told that it's because their servers are doing stuff and I'm on shared hosting anyway so if I don't want to see them, that I have to upgrade to a dedicated server. And now they are just closing tickets, open tickets in which I have asked questions, without answering the questions. Another thing I have learned with 101Domain is when you open a ticket, do not ask more than 1 question per ticket. They tend to pick 1, maybe 2, questions, answer those and ignore the rest.
