"My Review is just like the other ones that I have read. I ordered flowers on 2/13/2012 for a friend that was having a baby that day (not for Valentines Day). I ordered the "Same Day Delivery" flowers. Soon after I ordered the flowers I recieved a call stating that the Flowers would NOT be delivered the same day as promised. Rep stated however, that my Flowers would be delivered to the Hospital on the morning of 2/14/2012. I had to ruin the surprise of the Flowers by asking my Friend if she and her husband had recieved the Flowers on 2/14 which they had not recieved. I waited till to today 2/15/2012 to make sure that they were not just running behind. Once I had discovered that the flowers still were not delivered ( two days after order was placed ) I tried to contact 1800Flowers not once, twice, or even three times....I called 8 times to be told by automated system that they were too busy to take anymore calls and to go onto their website to track orders. I am now on hold with them, to get my order canceled. I have been on hold now for 30 minutes and still waiting!!!! I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!"

"Don't waste your time or money with this company. I placed an order at 11AM (EST) to ensure that it could be delivered in a timely fashion, even paid the same day delivery charge to find myself at 8:30pm trying to contact customer service because the flowers never got delivered. After waiting for 35 minutes for some kind of customer service, the rep told me that they can "Redeliver" tomorrow. Yes "REDELIVER"!!!!! Guess what they never even got delivered in the first place. "

"1800Flowers ruined my Valentines surprised! I order my flower delivery on February 6 2012 exactly 8 days before the big day (Valentines Day) I even asked that the arraingment be delivered on the 13th instead of the 14th which is a day early so I could really surprise my secret lover. The flowers never got delivered on the 13th and I thought no problem so I called that evening to the 1800Flowers to complain and to confirm that it would be delivered on Valentines Day early since it was a day late already. They assured me that it would and did the usual appology. On the 14th by mid day I began to worry so I called 1800Flowers again to complain, and as expected I had to wait on the phone over 30 minutes but this was worth it. To my surprise the person on the phone said it was a mix up and they could not guarantee delivery on Valentines Day because of the amount of orders being delivered that day was great. He said that he would do everything in his power to make absolutely sure that it would get delivered no later than noon the next day and offered a $20.00 discount on my next order. To make my matters worst I had told several people that i was taken a leap of faith to my secret admirer to send flowers on this lovers day, so i was really humiliated. Well the flowers still never arrived neither did it arrive the next day which is now two days later than it was suppose to arrive. Never would I use 1800Flowers again and neither should you. It's a chance that you don't want to take if the day is really important to you. Use your local florist and know that unless the delivery vehicles gets in to an accident your delivery will arrive.
I know that I can't be the only disappointed person on Valentines Day or any other day by this company. The name should be 1-800-Flowers-Wont-Come.

"I used them to get flowers for my sisters b-day, which I was already later for because of a screw up by another company. They were to be delivered to her work, a hotel, but the florist claimed they tried to deliver it, but no on was there by that name. I know this to be false bc I talked to my sister and no one knew anything about a delivery attempt at her hotel. There is another one maybe 5mi down the road which is probably where they tried to deliver it instead of reading the actual address that they were given. I spend 30min on hold and then received a rep that couldn't understand half the things I was saying nor could I understand her. I was already frustrated. They asked me if they could deliver it tomorrow, in which i responded with No, I want a refund. This is utterly ridiculous!"

"My boyfriend ordered flowers for me for Valentine's day and paid extra for guarenteed delivery! Never recieved them nor phone call/email. Tried calling multiple times but cannot get thru to them. Emailed them but never got a response. We are NEVER ordering from them again! WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! Doesn't even deserve one star. Very Dissatisfied!!"

"I ordered flowers to be sent on valentines day this year. Not only were they not recieved, but customer service called me at 10:30pm to tell me that they couldnt send them because of high volume. It was too late to get another gift and I was and am very dissapointed. The lady over the phone offered no further help than a suggestion that they would send them the next day! Valentines day is the 14th not the 15th! I cancelled my order and will not be using this company again. To add to my frustration, I even payed extra to guarantee dilivery on the 14th! I cant believe that they didnt offer a discount or any type of compensation when they ruined my holiday surprise"

"Worthless company. As with the rest of you, the flowers I ordered for delivery on Vday didn't arrive, despite paying the additional "guarantee charge". After three unsuccessful calls, (90 minutes) I reached someone who placed me on hold to call the florist they used. They couldn't get an answer from florist and she they would redeliver today. #1, why would I want VDay flowers delivered the day after, and #2, what confidence would I have with the florist they used who didn't deliver the first time.

After I said no to the redeliver she asked what I wanted. After I told her a refund, she said she could refund the flower cost but not the delivery fee. Seriously, she was gonna try that on me. Ended up getting a full refund and a $20 credit for a future order I will never use.

Learned my lesson.....SHOP LOCAL!

"The WORST florist ever. The box arrived LATE and when it was opened? NO FLOWERS INSIDE!!!!! They sent an empty box with a cheap vase that wasn't even the correct one! They THEN offered a 50% store credit to apologize. Not a refund - a store credit. They can take their credit and sit on it. Never using them again."

"My husband ordered flowers on 2/11/12 to be delivered to my office on Valentine's Day. He paid an extra charge to have them delivered on 2/14 as a surprise.
They didn't come on 2/14. On 2/15, at 2:00pm, I called 1-800 Flowers. After being on hold for more than 12 minutes, I was told by an Hispanic Customer Service Rep in hard to understand English that "The florist didn't deliver my order because they had too many orders to fill and were too busy". I was also told that they could get my order to me by Thursday afternoon, 2/16/12! Way to ruin my Valentine's day surprise.
I told them just to refund the full amount, including the extra sur-charge that my husband paid for guaranteed Valentine's Day delivery. The CSR had to put me on hold to get a supervisor's approval!!!!!!!!
RIDICULOUS!
I am going to instruct my husband and all of my friends to never order from 1-800 Flowers again!

"Worst company EVER!!!!! 1-800 flowers SUCKS!!!!!Ruined Valentine's 2012 my husband ordered two weeks early, paid EXTRA for them to be delivered by 10:30 am to my office.When my husband called 1 800 flowers to track them the person he spoke with was RUDE and told him to call meand see if they had gotten lost in my office?? WTF!!!!! He ended up having to call me and ruin the surprise to ask if they had been delivered!!! They finally were delivered at 3:30pm and were HOT and wilted!!Today I come in and they are DEAD worst company ever do not use them tell all your friends not to use them your happy moment will be ruined and 1 800 FLOWERS does not care!!!!"

"I placed my order with 1-800 flowers back on Jan 26th. I got an confirmation email that said there this is a smile in the works. It doesn't look like too many people are smiling about 1-800 flowers.com. I called yesterday at 1:30 just to confirm everything was on schedule. I spoke with Kate(employee# 19530) after waiting an hour on hold. She called the florist and said they were on their way for delivery, but they never showed. What a surprise! I am very disappointed and my girlfriend was too. Never again will I use them unless they make it up to me in a huge way."

"Awful. Simply awful. Spent a lot of money to have flowers and gifts delivered to my girlfriend for V-Day. Knowing that most flower companies are extremely busy with deliveries on V-Day, I actually requested delivery for the 13th with the flexibility to have them delivered on the 14th just to be SURE she got them (even if it would be a day early). At 6:30pm on the 14th I called to see why they hadn't been delivered yet and asked if I needed to cancel my order and run out last minute to purchase something else as a backup plan. I was assured that they would be delivered to our house within a half hour. Suffices to say it's 10:30am on the 15th, nothing ever arrived, and both my girlfriend and I are extremely disappointed. NEVER EVER USE THESE GUYS. "

"i order the romance flowers for my wife for valentinesday and the picture was all red whit and pink flowers. The flowers that are delivered had two roses and some blue flowers in it!! All greeniery nothing pretty or romance what so ever! My wife didn't even bring them home because she knew how mad I would be!! Horrible experience and after an hour and sixteen minute wait to talk to someone they offered me 50% instire credit like I want to sonbusiness with them again! Horrible!"

"Ordered flowers 2/9 and paid extra to guarantee 2/14 delivery. No delivery made and order was not even shipped. Offer from them was a $20 credit and to redeliver. They finally agreed to cancel and refund full amount. So much for guaranteed delivery. Terrible customer service and ruined valentines day. Never using them again!"
