"Paid extra money to get the flowers worth over $80.00 delivered on valentines. They wanted the money to ensure the delivery was made in a timely manner. They got the money but no delivery, and it's now 9:00 at night. When I called, the phone call drops or I am on hold for 40 minutes until the call drops. I hate these guys, and will never place an order again. Just a bunch of crapy advertising made by a number of people that call themselves business people but can't do a simple job as allocating resources. A joke. Nothing more."

"DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!! I pre ordered a dozen long stem roses for my girlfriend to be delivered in valentines day. They had a 5 dollar valentines day delivery guarantee that I paid for to ensure she received the roses today. This is very important to me because I plan on asking her to marry me when she gets home so i wanted every thing to be perfect. noticed on the website they deliver between 9am and 7pm so I called and talked to a coustumer service rep an told her my girlfriend leaves work at 5 she assured me that was no problem and they would deliver before 5 it's now 615 on valentines day my girlfriend is on the way home empty handed. I've tried calling for over 2 hrs now and keep getting transferred to the "coustumer service" machine that tells me they can not take my call right now because they are too busy. I called the regular # but they say they know nothing about order statuses all they do is take orders and more than likely the roses were not delivered because the florist ran out. WTF?? So why are you still taking phone orders I asked?? Thank you for calling 1800 flowers have a nice day! She replied and hung up... Fml way to F#6k up 1800 flowers!"

"my boyfriend sent a dozen roses to my office for valentines day. When I took them out of the box they were wilted, petals falling off and tiny. They don't even look like roses compared to what the other girls in my office received, none of which were from 1 800 flowers. If anyone is planning to use 1 800 flowers, you will DEFINITELY get better quality at a gas station or super market for way less money."

Ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife on Valentines Day. Surprisingly, they actually delivered the day BEFORE (when my wife wasn't at the office...) However, the flowers were disgusting - half dead, wilted, probably a week old at best.
Tried calling and got a "sorry we're busy - submit a form online and we'll try to call you back." I'll give them tomorrow and then I'm reversing the charges on my credit card. Unacceptable service, period."
"I would give 0 stars if I could. I just received flowers that my husband ordered for me for Valentines day. I am shocked by the condition of the roses, they are crushed, or browned and dead on the edges of the petals, and one was separated from it's stem. Though I'm upset that these poor excuses for flowers cost $80 (I balance our accts online, and saw the charge), I'm even more upset that I have used this service in the past to send gifts to family and friends and they may have received a gift that looked like this! I am thankful that they weren't delivered to my job, because it would have been horribly embarrassing for others to see these. "

Well, its the 14th and its meant to be Valentines day - not according to 1800 flowers. Flowers were delivered but not left at doorstep - yep - they tell me this ois policy - but there was nothing in the small print - not only that, my apartment manager offered to take them.
Compund this with a rude and very un-accomodating call back, and then a non-existant customer service - anyone want to wait twenty minutes plus whilst they at work.
So far, like many others - I've paid lots of money to get Zip. Awful service - rude staff - broken promises

"Placed an order yesterday to be delivered today for Valentines Day to my wife at her job, when I recieved the email confirmation, I noticed their time frame 9am-7pm, so right away I called to cancel. The rep told me not to cancel because they would be able to deliver before 2pm because my wife gets off at 230. My wife got off today at 3, and got home empty handed, GO FIGURE! "1800FLOWERS canceled my Valentine's delivery for my wife at 2:30PM on Valentine's day. I only found out when the website updated the status to "Canceled" with no explanation. After 40 minutes on hold trying to get to an operator, I was told my record was locked and I would need to call back later. The agent would not transfer me to a supervisor nor would they offer any explanation other than call back, remain on hold for another 40 minutes, and try again later. I will never do business with this company again."
