"I am just a repeat apparently. I ordered a bouquet they would have delivered 12/22 on 12/11. Figured 11 days in advance is good, right? Not. I arrived at my 92 year old grandmothers assisted living facility on 12/22 to spend Christmas with her and my grandfather. Did I feel like crap when no delivery occurred and I had no gift for them. I did receive and e-mail it was delivered just like the other people. They told me it will be redelivered on 12/28 and I would get a 50% refund. Still nothing. My father is still there with them and has gone down to the front desk numerous times to check. They never came the first time. The assisted living place keeps logs of everyone who goes in and out as there is no other way for guest to come in except the front door. They are freaking liars to say they came and delivered on 12/22. NO ONE CAME. I contacted them today because they didn't deliver yesterday as they said. So they said they would schedule another redelivery for "as soon as possible". What the heck does that mean? My grandmother has Parkinsons and won't be around much longer. Thanks for making a happy time into a miserable time 1800flowers. I'll never use them again. This is just insane."
"How do they stay in business? My order never arrived, even after I got a confirmation of delivery!! Said they would re-send, never did. Called back next day, said they would re-send again, never did. Called back third stay, assured me they would change florists, re-send, and the operator "personally guaranteed" they would arrive that day...Ha, never they never came. They will lie to you as many times as you are willing to believe them. They did give me a refund, but not the point. This company has to be a front for some other business. They cannot possibly be this bad, not care, and stay in business."

"I ordered at 10am for same day delivery. At 3:4pm I got an email and two phone calls saying that they were out of flowers and would deliver the next morning. 2 1/2 days nothing. I filed a claim and they offered to send UPS a few days later. Avoid these guys."
"I have seen all the negative reviews and i was rather shocked by it. (i mostly oder from the sister site Popcorn factory but the checkout is the same. it's a 5 store - one checkout thing)
I personially have never had a bad experince with them. the Orders have to signed for and they have been on time and sometimes ahead of time. the only thing was once the chocolate got melted but it was over a 100 degrees so i could understand that.
reading the reviews, i may not order on heavy hoildays just in case"
"I placed an order for the make lemonade arrangement yesterday after entering my recipient's zip code to ensure that that arrangement was available for her. The arrangement was suppose to be filled with bright yellow daisies and alstroemeria because yellow is her favorite color. What was sent to her was a much smaller arrangement than my $60 with two white roses a stem of lillies and a bunch of greens. I called them up and the girl I spoke to on the phone quickly corrected the error and offered me $20 towards my next purchase and said a replacement arrangement would be sent today. We'll see. After reading the reviews on here I can't believe this company is still in business they need to rethink their strategy or I'll be filing a complaint with the better business bureau."
"They're just fine...if you're looking for a company to take your money and LITERALLY not deliver your product. My flowers never made it to my recipient (in the hospital) and after calling 3 times that day and being blown off (and hung up on, once, too!) by very rude staff, I asked to speak with a manager, who was really no better and insinuated that it was my fault the flowers weren't delivered. C'mon, for a large company like this, it's shameful behavior. They offered me a $20 coupon, but I wouldn't do business with them again if they offered me a lifetime supply of flowers for free. Just horrible."
"Okay.. where to begin.. CAN I GIVE NEGATIVE STARS!? i will work from worst to best experience with these HORRID people.. i tried to order flowers for my moms birthday.. first RUDE phone call i made i got HUNG up on after i asked to talk to a supervisor.. second attempt i get hung up on and i AM NOT LYING recieved PRANK phone calls from these people calling my phone and cussing me out!! for NO reason!! i was SUPER nice because i just wanted my mom to get nice flowers.. i got harassing phone calls till i had to call their corporate office for them to cease.. the head guy i spoke with "Ken" only offered to monitor the phone call while i placed the order.. the operators gave me a fake nazme so he couldnt get to the bottom of the harrassing number. i know it was them BECAUSE THE NUMBER THEY CALLED FROM WASNT BLOCKED!!.. all you can do is MONITOR a phone call!? while phone operators that are supposed to ANSWER phone calls and take our orders are calling us back and HARASSING US!? and getting PAYED by the hour for this?? what kind of operation are you runnng!?.. when i told him i am going to NEVER use their service and tell all my friends not to as well he actually had the nerve to laugh at me.. not in a COMPLETELY terrible way but a "yes i can understand why you wouldnt want to use us again" kind of way but REALLY!? the corporate guy SCOFFS at me!? you are joking.. no compensation of any sort not that that would have changed my mind.. times before this i ordered flowers they would forget the extra balloon i would add to the order or teddy bear, Chocolates you name it!! blatently forgotten.. they did give me back the money but that wasnt the point.. i dont want the $4.99 back!! i wanted a GREAT surprise for my loved one!! PLEASE i begu save ur money.. there are PLENTY of places on the net that deliver flowers for alot cheaper and alot better service.. i am at this very moment going to TeleFLora.com.. better prices and hopefully better service.. havent tried them yet to be honest but at this point ANYTHING will be beter then 1800 FLOWERS!! "HORRIBLE! They need to keep an eye on their florist better or provide more training! I ordered a LARGE bouquet for a friend when she was having a hard time - Paid over $60. What she received did not look at all to what the photo online looked like and they were a day late when I paid for same day delivery. They offered me a $20 gift card... I WILL NEVER USE IT!
Then she ordered a birthday cake for me the day before my birthday - paid $54, only to receive a call ON my birthday that the location didn't carry the product and if they could send something else "Fine, but can you include chocolates?" - "Sure" CRAPPY bouquet of droopy/broken flowers that would cost $5-10 at Walmart and no chocolates. "I should've read reviews before trying them. It was only after my bad experience that I bothered to check. First problem was the flowers were not received on the day they were supposed to deliver them. Ordered about a week prior- They sent me an email at 5pm on the DAY they were supposed to be delivered that the florist was unable to make the order. Ok, fine - surprise ruined but I agreed to allow them to deliver it a week later and they gave me a $20 off coupon for the next time. When the flowers arrived they wer nothing like in the photo- I ordered mango colored callalillies- as the description called them and as the photo showed- instead there was only ONE mango colored lilly in the plant that was received, while the rest were all pure yellow. Which made me look like an idiot because I mentioned to the person that I got them peachy colored flowers because I knew how much they liked that color- only to have her receive pure YELLOW flowers! I will never use that $20 coupon because I will never order from them again no matter what."
"I ordered chocolate covered strawberries for my mother for her birthday. They were supposed to be guaranteed to be delivered to her on a Friday but were not so they sat over the weekend at the shipper. They sent them late - the following Monday and they were ruined. The chocolate melted. I contacted them mulitple times but they failed to respond to me - they pretty much ignored me so I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. I got the feeling that they could care less. That's okay, I will just order from their competitors from now on. "
"I don't know what happened to the rest of you, but my experience with 1800flowers was flawless! My boyfriend ordered them last night, and told me to be expecting them the next day. They were hand delivered right on time by a very nice deliverer, and were even more beautiful than in the picture online. I am so happy with the arrangement I got!"
"DO NOT USE 1-800-Flowers or have a backup plan ready as your flowers will not arrive. I ordered on a Monday flowers to be delievered on Friday (same week). My credit card was charged on Tuesday and on Friday no flowers at all. I called customer service and was told they can not locate a florist in my area who can deliever flowers. It took them 4 days to figure that out. Good going 1-800 flowers. I am happy I have options to get my flower needs in the future from different sources. Really bad company."

"I ordered three bouquets to be delivered on a specific date. One was delivered two weeks early, the second was delivered three days late, and the third arrived with no problems. My whole payment was refunded because the order was messed up so badly. The date was specific to the reason of deliver and reflected the message of the card. It was obvious that noone looked at the order to know why they needed to be sent that specific date.
After seeing the Undercover Boss episode I thought the owner seemed like a nice man who valued good service but I was completely mistaken and will NEVER use 1-800-flowers again. "
