"Worst customer service and non-existent service! Ordered flowers and did not deliver! They sent me a false delivery confirmation email; however, the flowers were never sent. I placed the order for flowers for my mother-in-law a MONTH in advance for Mother's Day. They failed to complete the order at all!!!"

"Have ordered from this company only 2x's and both times, order was not delivered on the correct delivery date. Customer service was contacted regarding this and both times was told their records indicate flowers were delivered on the correct date, no apology, just that I was mistaken and could not assist me further. Horrible customer service, gave them a second chance and had the same exact issue, will NEVER return to 1800 flowers."

"I sent flowers from this company on several occasions, and was rather puzzled about the recepients' reaction. No one rushed to thank me, only bringing up the flowers days later in conversation about other things. Today, I received flowers from them for Mother's Day. They are dismal. The bouquet looks so "tired", the edges of the roses and lilies dry and brown. The vendors they use obviously don't stock good flower quality. I'm so embarrassed by the flowers I sent to my friends and will never ever again use this company."

"So beyond frustrated.

Order never arrived for Mother's Day. I've tried several different channels of customer service to obtain more information or remedy the situation. Calling in - rep was a poor communicator in a noisy room who was unable to assist. I asked to be transferred to shift manager which after being placed on hold for 10 minutes the call was dropped.

If you place an order to be delivered on a particular date, especially around a holiday, then inability to fulfill that order needs to be proactively communicated to the consumer. For example, it was frustrating to call home to wish my mother happy mother's day to learn no, in fact the flowers I sent did not arrive YESTERDAY, a day early.

Further more, representatives who don't have the right information to be able to track products frustrates the consumer more. Also 50% off next order is an unacceptable remedy. If the order cannot be delivered as described, 100% refund - no questions asked.

"I ordered flowers to be delivered on Saturday or Sunday but I got a call on Mothers Day morning and they left me a message that the call was of poor quality and the rep spoke very quickly so all I understood was my order had been canceled. I called customer service and they said it was canceled becuase no one in the area would accept the order. UNACCEPTABLE! This company has a major problem if florist will not accept orders. It is now mothers day and i have nothing to give my mom who lives 650 miles away. this company is a scam and I will never use 1800flowers again!"

"Terrible!!! I ordered flowers to arrive on Friday Before Mother's Day. They never arrived. I called the 1800 number and spoke to a reprsentive and she said it would arrive Saturday. I noted my mother would not be there on Sunday and it is VITAL that the flowers be there on Saturday... She Assured me over 4 times because I was rather frantic over the fact my mother would be out of town on Sunday... Saturday afternoon came and went, and I was getting worried. I called again, another representive told me: Don't Worry It will be there before 7PM. It's now past 7 PM!!! I called them again. Now the Gentlemen says I will give you a refund and it will take DAYS!!! To Get it!!! OMG! Tomorrow is Mothers Day! & I have NOTHING FOR MY MOM!!! I paid close to 100 bucks and Have yet to see my money refunded Yet, and NO FLOWERS FOR MOM! I hope the people who own this site know how many Mother's Will Have Broken Hearts!"

"I ordered flowers for my mother for mothers day. They were suppose to be delivered today and they weren't. when I called, they said no one in her area accepted the order and that they weren't going to be delivered! Tomorrow is mother's day and now it's too late to have anything delivered! This company is a SCAM!"

"My daughter sent me a gardenia plant for Mother's Day. She works hard for her money and she wanted to honor her mother with this gift. The plant arrived and as I opened the box, dirt started falling all over my kitchen counter. The dirt got worse as I tried to get the plant from the box. When I finally extracted the plant, it had one single bloom that was brown around the edges and underside petals of the bloom. It was pitifill. My heart was broken for my daughter who trusted 1 800 flowers to fulfill thier promise to deliver a beautiful arrangement, but the reality was certainly different from the picture online.
It took me 20 minutes to clean up all the dirt on the counter and floor because the plant was completely dry when it arrived.
I will inform my children to never use your service again. My daugher wasted her money as this plant is not going to live past today....and with only one pitiful bloom.

"I ordered a size large boquet and what we received had to be a small or medium size, it was definitely NOT what was pictured online!! The flowers were not fresh either! For the price I paid it was so not worth it!! I will be going back to ProFlowers in the future, the flowers are much fresher and if you order a large, it will be LARGE!!"

"I have been using 1800flowers for more than 5 years. Living in Chicago, most of my family is spread across the country. For Mother's Day, I accidentally put in the wrong delivery date 2 days before Mothers Day. I put in Memorial weekend. I immediately called and got a recording saying no changes could be made at this time and leave a message for anything else. I dashed for my computer and sent an email in less than 10 minutes of my order. I not only got a response almost immediately, and I got my flowers delivered the next day, in Henderson NV. On top of that, my mother-in-law (one of the recipients) used to be a florist in Chicago and only carried the best flowers, she knows whats good and whats NOT. She was absolutely AWED by the Purple Passion Bouguet for Mother's Day and Aunt Jo got a gorgeous, HEALTHY Magnolia Bonsai tree. They could not get over how healthy and beautiful they were. Everything was and always has been PERFECT. 1800flowers goes out of their way to make sure you are a happy, satisfied customer and their products are top of the line. I have never had a bad experience and would recommend them to anyone! VB, Lockport, IL"

"i order roses for my wife they were old they last one day i called them know the i was unhappy instead to try to correct it never call back but every day i get 8 email a day try to sell me flowers icalled them and to stop to email me 10 days later i still get email from 1800 flowers"

"I ordered a pretty mother's day bouquet for my mom. I just got photos (and a very happy thank you) from her. The flowers are exquisite. I'm pleased with how easy it was to order, the speed of delivery, and the quality of the bouquet. I've read lots of nasty reviews about 1800flowers, so I was pretty worried about how things would turn out, but I will definitely use them in the future."

"NEVER AGAIN!!!!! I should have learned my lesson last year when I ordered flowers for my boss's mother to be delivered on her birthday. The same thing happened again this year. I placed the order online, well in advance of the delivery date. I was told they would deliver between the hours of 9am - 7pm..I called throughout the day to try and obtain an update (their online tracking did not work), each time I spoke with someone from India and could barley speak English, I was told they had no information but to rest assured they would be delivered by 7pm. Well 7pm came and went, when I called to inquire at 7:02pm they told me they would try to have them delivered the next day..NEXT DAY?!?!? Are you kidding me! I insisted to speak with a supervisor and also asked for the local florist contact info. They could not provide me with that information but were willing to call them "on my behalf"...she comes back on the line to tell me none answered so they most be closed already. All they could do was provide an apology. My advice, your better off finding a local flower shop in the area and ordering directly from them, which is what I will be doing from now on."

"Ill start off by saying that i work for fannie may which is owned by 1800Flowers, so i get payed from them and customer service still would not help me!! IF THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES HOW ARE CUSTOMERS TREATED?? I tried ordering flowers for my mom for mothers day, was overcharged and billed twice. When i called customer service they said they didnt bill me twice and could not do anything... My bank statement gives proof that they did and i am still waiting to hear back from them. Seriously, do not shop here or at any of their sister brands.. 1800 Baskets, popcorn factory, etc. I personally know how money hungry corporate is and should have known better than to order from them in the first place."

"Here was my comments to 1800flowers:
On 4/27 I ordered the small Pleasantly Pink flowers for a new baby girl. The flowers were promptly delivered the hospital the next morning (for $14.99 in shipping). On the 29th I was able to go and see the family and was appalled at the bouquet I bought them. When I first saw them I actually thought, “I hope those are NOT the ones I ordered.” IT LOOKED NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE. It has MAYBE ¼ of the amount of flowers in the Small picture online. I was SO embarrassed to have those sent on my behalf. I will never order again for the fear of what might get thrown together. I was lucky to have seen these flowers (most people don’t get to see the final product) so that I never make the mistake of ordering from your company again. I will make sure to pass this on to anyone and everyone to make sure they don’t waste their money like I did. How embarrassing.
