"I won't lie I was a bit hesitant to use 6pm.com after reading the reviews on this site. That said I had to give it a try, I was saving $100 on an order that was only $50. The items shipped 2 days after I ordered and were here 2 days later, everything turned out great and I am happy to have used 6pm.com."

"My experience with 6pm was wonderful. I received the item I wanted in the estimated time given. Everything went smooth with me and I would recommend my friends to shop here. However I don't understand one thing, and its how they present deals. One day a sweater I was looking at had 30% off then two days later 40%. And I just ordered another sweater from the website that states 1 combination left for the size I wanted. Lets hope nothing goes wrong. "

"I ordered Chuck Taylors for my wife and 3 year-old. When I saw the prices I was skeptical, so I researched. The reviews were 50 - 50. I guess because people are more prone to write a review if they are ticked off. We received the shoes in four days with no shipping charges. The sizes and colors were perfect. I am ecstatic that I found this website. A Godsend for the present economy."

"FAILURES - 4 TIMES. I bet Stacy Adams would not be happy to know such poor resellers are selling their product and ZAPPOS should NOT be affiliated w/ 6pm. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I made 4 attempts to purchase my Father a Stacy Adams dress shirt set (shirt, matching tie, cuff links), a gift for his birthday. I ordered 17.5REGULAR 34/35 shirt size. However, 6pm FAILED w/ each order and sent him EXTRA LARGE shirts. 1st attempt 6pm said there was a problem with my credit card, so they cancelled my order. I called 6pm and they said the bank had cleared my order eventually, but said since they had already cancelled my order, I had to reorder. The next 3 attempts, 6pm mailed my Father the EX LG shirts. The only reason I bothered to continue to deal with 6pm after the 2nd fail is because my Father loved the items and really wanted to wear them to church. After each failed attempt, 6pm's customer service promised to get the next order correct. They did not. I called them 1 last time to see if they could send him a size 16.5, they said "we're sorry we can't do that". Now my Father has to mail everything back. I'm so frustrated and embarrassed that my Father did not get the gift he wanted and I wasted hours of my time. Now, I'm going to Macy's to try to find something similar. They are refunding my money and paying for all shipping costs, but can't refund my time or my Father's! "

"I am surprised with the number of negative reviews. I have been a 6pm customer for several years and spread my experience to many colleagues and friends. I had to return 2 items in all these years because of fit. Card refunded immediately. My experience here has been overwhemlingly positive. I have purchased many shoes and boots from 6pm at drastically reduced prices, and so have my friends and co-workers. Never heard a complaint from any of them!"

"6pm.com's pricing does not make sense. They listed a price on a pair of boots for $29.99. When I added it to my shopping cart, the price jumped to $50.99. I called customer service and they confirmed that it is a function of demand. When there is a demand for that item they raise the price. Ridiculous! Very deceiving!"

I'm truly sorry to hear that the price of the item changed while in the shopping cart. I'm even more sorry to hear that you were advised incorrectly of why the prices change on our site. We do offer sales quite often. It is hard to say why one item goes on sale, while another doesn't and it doesn't always come down to the demand of the item. At times, we do have random sales on certain brands, items, colors, etc. When an item goes on sale, our customer service department is never told the reason for the sale. That is decided by our brand marketing team so it is hard to say what factors they looked at to determine the sale price point.

Your shopping cart will not secure sale prices for you. If you place an item in your cart at a sale price, the price will change once the sale has expired. We recommend that if you see something you like, place your orders as soon as possible! If the sale is over at midnight, and you put an item in your cart at 10pm to check out, but the sale price is no longer listed, we will honor the sale price for you. Now if you put the item in your cart at 10pm to check out, but don't go to check out until 12:01am, we will to be able to honor the price.

When the price is first updated on our site, it may take a while for the information to completely update which is why you saw the two different prices. It would be a good idea to clear your cache and cookies if you see a price difference as your computer may be seeing the 6pm.com pricing prior to the cache on the site being cleared so it stops the correct price from showing.

I'm not sure the details of your situation, so I can't comment on what happened. I do apologize. However, I did want to let you know how sales come about and how the prices do change but it is not based on just the demand of the item.

"I found 6pm.com through Brad's deals and the prices were almost too good to be true! I found 3 pairs of boots, one of which was 2x the price at Macys and immediately ordered them! After I placed my order I googled 6pm.com and found quite a few dissatisfied customers on ResellerRatings.com and immediately regretted my order :( I placed my order Monday 11/28/11 and received my order 11/29/11 and it was FREE SHIPPING! I was almost afraid to open the box not knowing what to expect inside but to my surprise, my COMPLETE and CORRECT order was in the box! The boots I ordered have no flaws, never been worn and they are even cuter in person! I will definitely be ordering from 6pm.com again! I don't know what happened to the other posters but this was the BEST experience I have ever had with online ordering! I definitely recommend you give them a try! "Not sure why there are so many negative reviews!! I guess people only write when there is something to complain about. I have fallen in love with this site. It offers, high end shoes for prices I can afford! Within the past month, I have bought 4 pair of shoes. My latest purchase was today, and I am absolutely thrilled! I saw a pair of shoes while I was at work and had to wait until I got home to place the order. To my disappoint the shoes went from 80% off to only 38% off! The difference between the two discounts was $140!! I immediately called 6pm and explained the situation. Not only did they offer me the original price for what I saw it for, but they didn't even make me haggle! It was a pleasure for a company to simply say "ok" and satisfy the customer from the beginning. I didn't need to speak to a manager, I didn't need to raise my voice, nor did I need to protest. The customer service agent simply put me on a brief hold and validated the price that I saw initially this morning! What a pleasure!! I will forever be a devoted shopper to 6pm now!"

"Classic bait and switch from 6pm.com. My wife ordered a Victorinox travel bag and tote for a great price on Black Friday. We received an email confirmation from 6pm for the total amount of $200.08 for both items.
A few hours later an invoice/receipt from the company was emailed to us, but now the price was changed to $489.70! A stunning increase of 144% (or $289.62) We immediately forwarded our original confirmation to the company.
Initially their response was that the cost on these items had not been changed since 11/24 and matched the higher price quote. We responded with forwarding a page view from Google of the pricing on their website at the time of our order (cached from 11/25, as the prices are now changed). In a second email they responded that we were too late in placing our order to receive the discounted pricing (confirming the first response was a lie).
We will naturally be returning our order (at our own cost, as per the company's policy) if this cannot be resolved satisfactorily. We are very displeased with our treatment from 6pm.com thus far.

Update: As noted in Corina's reply below, my wife has received a message from 6pm.com confirming they will honor the original price. While we have been rather dissatisfied with the handling of our order, we can say that the vendor has promptly replied to all correspondence we've sent them. That particular item did change prices the morning of the 25th when you placed your order. It is very likely that the cache hadn't cleared when you placed your order. "Not sure if I was very fortunate based on earlier dissatisfied folks. Placed order for a pair of Northface trail shoes due to advertised sale at Dealnews. Price was cheaper than what I can find locally. No shipping. Another great deal. Soon after hitting place order button, I checked Resellers for ratings on this merchant and my heart dropped as there were many negative comments. I did get a confirmed sales email and a shipping confirmation email the following day. My only thought was that I was going to experience a nightmare of things like wrong shoes, extended delay in shipping, no responses so I patiently waited. Surprise! Shoes arrived in 5 days, priority mail over the Pacific ocean which I have to admit, OUTSTANDING! Folks like us who live in Hawaii usually wait a week or more. I carefully unpacked the box and prepared myself for the worse but to my surprise, the box was new with a pair of Northface shoes of correct size and all. As dumbfounded I was, I kind of paused for a moment to think about all the negative comments I read over and wondering if I am just a rare occasion that 6pm made good on or is it that they are honestly trying to improve on their customer service. In all, I have to give them 5 stars as I have nothing to complain about. "

"AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!!!!!
I'm extremely disatisfied with 6pm.com. I placed my order on November 11, 2011. Waiting for my package to arrive, as this was meant for a gift, I come to the surprise when I opened the package that it was a completely different order!!WRONG SIZE,WRONG SHOES, NOT MY ORDER! But the package did contained a packaging slip order which listed my EXACT order. Which I thought was completely odd. I was in disbelief and enraged as all this time I had been waiting anxiously for these shoes to arrive. I immediately called 6pm.com and NOW they come to tell me that the shoes I had ordered are NOW OUT OF STOCK!! Plus I now have to wait more than a week for my money to be credited. They refused to offer me anything for the incovenience and I experienced horrible customer service. I believe this is a very unprofessional way of them conducting business. What a way of finding out my order was messed up since the beginning and having to wait over a week to find out, plus then the shocker of discovering the shoes are now unavailable.
