"I ordered a projector lamp on 11/23 for an excellent price during black Friday. I was so happy to find the lamp at a great price as I am usually not a black Friday shopper. Well about a week and a half later I went online to check the status of the order and to my surprise it was CANCELLED. I then went through my email and found an email from them stating my order was cancelled and came in under their pricing. I did receive a refund and called ahead to verify another price listed online. By the way new order 12/09, card processed still in fulfillment 4 days later.

Update: Received a call from Jacob at a matter of fax just after writing this review. Stated that the supplier of the item I ordered did not have ready to ship but he could have it drop shipped from another supplier within 24 hours and I should have it before the end of the week. Yah! He then offered to work with me on the price discrepancy much to my surprise. Now that is what I call customer service. Other companies take note; customer service still does matter and can take a non repeat customer and turn them into a repeat customer.

"Ordered optoma RF rechargeable 3D glasses and they sent me DLP link glasses which are not even rechargeable. Totally different product than what I ordered. Read their terms and conditions for return and they are really really silly. I am going to be better off just taking this loss and sell these on ebay or something than jumping through all the hoops they have in place to return a product. "

"This is the worst merchant I have dealt with on the internet. I have never written a review. I received my scanner in a crushed box and was told I could return it for a restocking fee or an exchange. I emailed them I wanted an exchange and was suppose to hear in 3 business days. I did not hear from them in 3 business days by email so I called. There is no one there to speak to directly, so I left a message for them to respond to. I
have not heard from anyone and have stopped payment on my credit card. The two issues I have are: 1. They send a crushed box and tell me if it does not work it is under manufacturing guarantee & complain to manufacturer, & 2. If you have a problem you are on your own with no response. 12/14/11 A Matter of fax has contacted me and apologized. They have sent me a return authorization. A matter of fax has kept their word. They have credited my account as they had promised. Thank you.

"i ordered a lamp for my tv in september and received a bulb. i put it away for a couple weeks not looking at it. when i went to replace the old bulb, i found they sent me the wrong one. so i had to pay shipping to return it. the 2nd bulb blew up in a few days (not the company's fault, manudacturer's fault i would say)and was sent a wrong model becauseof a computer error to replace that. after letting them know i was personally called to let me know they were expediting my new bulb faster than a normal exchange"

"Update! Matter of Fax heard about my displeasure with their service. They called me personally and apologized. They also gave me a $35 credit on my purchase. I am very satisfied with their customer service. After that attentive care, I will buy something from them again.

First, I went to their website to purchase a sports memorabilia piece of Lou Gehrig, Babe Ruth and Shoeless Joe. The product page with all the information said $76 shipping free. I went through the entire checkout process online and not once did they show me or ask me to confirm the breakdown of charges. At the end of checkout, they thanked me for my purchase of $95!! They charged me shipping and not just regular shipping but expedited shipping and didn’t even seek my approval!! I called them and demanded they remove the charge, which they did. That is not where this story ends though. I made the purchase on 11/21/2011 and the item was just shipped 12/7/2011 and they told me it would be here in a week.

"Place my order and pay it with my debit card on 12/3/2011. I was notified that it has been moved to fulfillment at 9:30 am on 12/6/2011, Then, my order was cancel by the A Matter Of Fax at 3:01 pm on 12/6/2011 because they made a mistake on their price and they can not and will not honor my order. The customer service people acted like I am the person who cancel the order. Finally, it ONLY take them 24+ hours to credit back to my debit card. Come on ...

Learn from me, do not buy anything from this company since they screwed up my XMAS plan. You could be the next one get screwed up. Go somewhere else.

"I dealt with Ari at AMatterOfFax.com. I purchased a rifle scope for $61, and had an email come back after my card was charged telling me that the price was in error and they were canceling it. I called customer service, and spoke to Ari, who told me condescendingly that they could not honor the sale. This is absolutely ridiculous and I would never ever shop here again. Awful customer service, poorly designed website, and run by liars. Never again.

EDIT: Jacob from AMatterOfFax.com called today and offered to honor the original price, which was greatly appreciated. He also mentioned that he would talk to Ari. He was extremely helpful, and I am hopeful that my initial impression was just due to Aris terrible customer service.
