Purchased an imaging drum for a HP 8550, C4153A on June 6, 2011. Website showed "In Stock" "Ready To Ship in 24-48 ours". 2 weeks later I still had not received any tracking info and status showed that it had not been shipped.
Called customer service, they told me it was still in the warehouse. Customer rep told me it would get shipped out ASAP - but did not say when. I'm getting impatient at this point but okay I understand that there are mix ups.
A week goes by and I get an email from ****@**** saying "We do apologize for the inconvenience, There was a delay in the shipment, we will get tracking on thuesday the fifth of july," I'm mad at this point but nothing I could do, at least I will finally get my part - or so I thought.
July 12th, 2011 - I still do not have tracking info and no part. I log in to check the status and find that my ordered has been CANCELLED. Just like that, no notice.
I email moshe and get this reply: "I just relized that your order was canceled because the item is on backorder and we have no clue when we are getting it in, and we didn't want your credit card to be charged"
So, I wait over a month for my part and my order is cancelled without notice. The funny thing is that their website still shows that the item is "In Stock" "Ready to Ship in 24-48 hours". They also raised the price of the item.

"***UPDATE - 8/24/11 After 8 months of trying to get a refund for printer toners, we do finally have the checks in hand. There was still a lot of fumbling involved during this process and were told two separate refund amounts that varied by a couple of hundred dollars. In the end, we have received a refund but we will definitely not be doing business with Matter of Fax ever again.
***UPDATE - 7/20/11 Matter of Fax is currently making an effort to work with our business to rectify this problem and refund our money.
Our law firm purchased a years worth of printer toner from Matter of Fax, it has all been refurbed JUNK! We have made numerous attempts to contact the company for a refund/exchange, but have been ignored or given the wrong information. We were given a return address for one shipment, mailed it ON OUR DOLLAR, to have it returned (crunched up) and told WE MAILED TO THE WRONG PLACE, even though we used the information given to us by THEM. After resending it, we still have not received a refund for more than 6 months! Will never do business with them again.
