"I have called on A Matter of Fax a few times for our office needs and I have been very satisfied with the availability, the price, and the service. It's the first place I look when printer/scanner needs arise."
"Your Online process is quick and your mechandise search presented me exactly what I needed in various options from new to remanufactured. Pricing and bundle pricing is affordable and has made us return customers to your site.
Thanks for your service and continuing to provide exactly what we need at the price we can afford.
"
"I have used other online services for ordering and I was both impressed with the prices and the fast turnaround of delivery.
"
"This was my 2nd or 3rd purchase from "A Matter of Fax". I have been pleased with the price and promptness of delivery.
I can certainly recommend them and I like the ability to get a second copy of my invoice from their site.
Thanks!"
"I was glad that they called to say the item we ordered was on backorder from Japan. I was also glad we could change the order quickly. Great customer service."

"Great And professional service, I looked elsewhere for merchandise and it would have cost me 2/3 more of what I paid. The representative that assisted me "Josh" was great!"
"Jacob and the other's behind the scene have been terrific in responding to my queries on returning a product. Using their on-line application for 'returns' I was provided an RMA in less than 24-hours. Thanks for great customer service!"
"This was my third order with A-Matter-Of-Fax. Their generic toners have worked well in my B&W and Color lasers from Brother, and their price is usually the cheapest. Have had no problems so far . . ."
"Needed lamp replacement for Panasonic TYLA1000 & went online to get one. Hubby wanted housing, too, as we had got replacement one time under tv's warranty (lamp went out after repeated warnings on startup screen). Read many reviews & looked at many bulb for sale sites. Found out differences in bulb qualities & prices. The price on this bulb can range from $50 to $2200!!. There are different deals on warranties. I got the 3 yr warranty, because from the reviews of everyone, because this bulb only lasts 2 years or much less!! So, the price I paid ($153.52) is for ONE lamp with housing, but for THREE years warranty. There were some bad reviews with this company & I was unsure, but it is a bulb & bulbs are not predictible. I chose A matter of Fax because they quickly emailed me back with my concerns & had good ratings.(Some wee bad, but so are they on other companies). They were difficult to get ahold of on some posted phone numbers & the reason was posted on their website. I ordered my lamp & housing on May 26th & Just received it Thursday, June 2nd. I used regular shipping, even though you are pressed to take a priority shipping. Memorial Day weekend was in middle of that & I wasn't worried about not receiving it for awhile. I think that my lamp was mailed out promptly & was packaged very appropriately & well. There is dust in the tv area where I am going to be working in to put the unit back in & I have special tools to help with that. Getting rid of the dust first! There were no directions in the box on how to install it, but there are on the website(s). READ them! Don't touch the lamp (bulb) & be gentle. I will let you know how it works out later."
"I was looking for a new lamp for my Samsung DLP TV. Used google and selected "A Matter of Fax" because of their low price and good customer reviews. I am very happy I did. The service was quick and the product was a perfect fit. I was able to follow the instructions accompanying the product and had everything working in less than 30 minutes from the time UPS dropped it off. This company sent the bulb already installed in a replacement housing at no extra charge so removing a few screws, popping out the old housing and replacing it with the new one was easy.
I can give a seller no higher praise than "I would reccommend them to anyone and use them again when the need arises"."
"Jacob from Customer Care at A Matter of Fax helped me very much with two orders that I had trouble with recently. For Invoice #539007, a TV replacement lamp, the first order was defective as the attachment screws were too small and the lamp could not be installed. Jacob found another lamp and compared it to the one I returned to be sure the second one had the correct size screws before he had it shipped to me. The second lamp fit perfectly. Jacob should be commended for the added service he gave by calling me to explain what he did to be sure I did not receive another defective TV lamp. Rather than cancel my order, Jacob's service kept my purchase with A Matter of Fax. And then today for Invoice #540787, I mistakenly did not hit the free shipping option and my invoice added $14.27 for quicker shipping that I did not want. A call to Jacob quickly corrected this error on my part and then he confirmed the adjustment with an immediately e-mail to me. Jacob has given me excellent customer service and because of him I will continue to place orders with A Matter of Fax. Thank you."
"I placed an order on 5/12/2011 for HP ink. I believed I was ordering a double pack of oem hp 98 and per the invoice that is what I appeared to order. I received 2 single packs of a remanufactured ink. I received an RMA to return the originals and get a refund. The package I sent was received and signed for by A Matter of Fax on May 19. My account, as of June 1, still shows no refund pending and the last communication from customer service dated 5/26/11 states "So sorry for the delay, we are backed up at the return dept, as soon as we scan it in to the system we will refund you the money". This delay and experience have been very frustrating. Update 6/1/2011 afternoon: I'm pleased to say that I received confirmation that I will be receiving a full refund. The process was slow but hopefully, all will be resolved within a few days. Thanks to Jacob at Customer Service, my refund was issued on June 3; he was very helpful in resolving this and I am very grateful for his involvement and assistance"
"Update 7/26/2011
Received a call from Jacob in Customer Service on 7/14. He apologized for not getting back to me, saying that a computer problem had deleted all their email. Jacob promised he would get a check to me and would walk over to accounting to get it done.
I got another call from Jacob on 7/19, asking if the check had arrived yet. I had not received a check from A Matter of Fax and told him so. The check arrived in the mail on 7/20, and I got another call from Jacob on 7/21. He is persistent! He called back on 7/25 to ask that I raise the rating I had given to A Matter of Fax. Although the facts of this case have not changed, the case is closed. I don't care for the quality of the products I purchased and returned, but the customer service (once you finally get someone working for you) is pretty great.
Update 7/14/2011
A Matter of Fax contacted me due to the low rating I gave, offering a full refund if I returned my leaking toner cartridges. They sent me a prepaid return label and asked if I could raise my rating. I thought the customer service was responsive, so raised my overall rating. I returned the defective toner and emailed Customer Service, asking when my refund would be sent. Now, one month after the toners were received by their facility in Brea, CA, I have not received a refund, credit, or even a phone call or email.
I suspect that I will get another call from Customer Service once they read this. I had hoped that A Matter of Fax would be proactive and contact me, but this has not happened. Customer Satisfaction Score: zero.

Update: 6/3/2011
The company's web site states that they will not accept returns for toner, despite the fact that the toner cartridges leak badly. But after I contacted A Matter of Fax, their Customer Service manager called me and assured me he would make everything right. He has sent me a return label and will reverse the charge on my credit card.
My impression of this company has changed due to the great customer service I have received. I will update this review again after the return process is complete. Thanks!

Original review: 5/31/2011
Shipping was delayed a few days because A Matter of Fax had to run a credit check. I found this strange since I was using a credit card. Products arrived eventually, but not as quickly as I had expected. All toner cartridges looked like the ones I was replacing, but I noticed smears and toner blotches on the edges of the paper immediately. I attributed this to a bit of spillage while changing cartridges, but when this did not stop after 2 months, I found the cartridges were leaking toner into the printer. The interior of the printer is covered in piles of color toner, and the printer may be ruined."
"The item I ordered from the web site was not available. I was promptly notified and given the choice of cancelling my order or ordering a more expensive alternative. I chose to place the order and was pleased with how quickly it was filled.
