"I will not deal with these folks again. I ordered a Canon Laser Class 310 fax machine on 8/11/11 online with a 2-day shipping upgrade. I received an email acknowledgement within a few minutes and everything looked good. I waited a week - no machine. I called and was assured by the salesperson that the unit would ship "by Wednesday." Wednesday came & went and still no machine. Each time I'd call after that I'd get transferred to someone in shipping who wouldn't answer the phone or bother to return my voice mail. I called to cancel the order today - 9/7 - and was transferred to yet another unanswered voice mail. I called back and was told by the rather surly woman that answered the phone that my order had been cancelled as of today and, "we sent you an email." So, here I am practically a month later with no fax machine and a handful of angry staff members.
I will never understand why these fly-by-night companies advertise merchandise that they don't have and can't even GET?? This item is STILL posted on their site. Stay away from these folks if you're in a hurry to receive your order.
FOLLOW UP to their response: At no point was I contacted by your store. I had to call you each and every time and then I got transferred around until I landed in someone's voice mail - at which point I'd have to call back. The picture that you're trying to paint of this transaction - that you contacted me and I decided to wait - is NOT correct.
Also - if the item is still back-ordered? Then why is that fact STILL not noted on your site??? "
