Luxury Furniture Great Service

"We received a lexington furniture dining table set and bedroom set. The furniture was high end and we took a risk and bougt it online . AFA Stores kept us updated throughout the process and the delivery drivers were extremely friendly and capable. Kudos AFA on a job well done. Will be back again."

Misleading about orders placed and shipping

"I ordered a dresser on the 4/18/19 they charged my cc right away. Days later checked my email to see if I had a tracking number which I did not. So I called 05/01/19 spoke with a lady since the 7-10 business days was coming up, she notified me the the dresser was actually on back order and it was actually going to be shipped out 4/30/19 and that same day I received an email from Eduardo saying the order is due to ship in 3-4 business day now, she seemed unconcerned so I just ended the call. I called today 05/03/19 to check the status and spoke with a gentleman who said the order was shipping out today 05/03/19 and still going to take another 2-3 weeks for the order to even get to my location. I was pretty upset and instead of trying to make the situation better he asked if I would like to cancel my order!!! which to me is very unprofessional and upsetting for a customer to hear. He did apologize for them not communicating and letting me know it was a even a backorder to begin with. Now I just have to wait another 2-3 weeks and if I would have known this ahead if time I would have order from somewhere else. It's unfortunate because they do have great prices. Hopefully I'll receive it sooner and in good condition, because I really do not look forward to having to go through the return policy with there customer service after this mishap. "

Seamless transaction.

"I am a seasoned online shopper. I do my research on brands, pricing, return policies, and shipping. My experience with AFAstores was seamless and without issues. This was my second purchase from them, but the biggest and most expensive to date. I had priced out my new dining room table and found it to be the least expensive with Afastores. I even received an additional 5% ($38.50)off of the sale price! Of course, I had a couple of questions before I made the actual purchase, so I contacted the company via email as that is the best form of communication for me given my line of work. My emails were answered promptly, my questions were answered, and I made the purchase. The table arrived earlier than the anticipated delivery date, and the delivery company contacted me to set up a mutually agreeable delivery time. The delivery men even brought it into the dining room for me, which they did not have to. I will be ordering from this company again in the future. Thank You AFAstores!"

When the power supply was not with the shipment, he stayed in touch with the manufacturer and assured a quick and fast fulfillment of the missing supply, keeping me apprised along the way. "This was my first experience ordering furniture online.

I recently purchased a sectional couch. When it arrived, unfortunately the delivery company did not deliver one item. I contacted by email (Eduardo) and by phone (Josh N.). Both gentlemen were very responsive to my concerns and very professional. When I spoke with Josh over the phone several times, he was always very professional, polite, as he investigated the situation. He responded in a timely manner and expedited shipment of the missing item.

Excellent customer service - so personable! Highly recommend!

"I purchased a bookcase from AfA Stores, and when I received it, some of the parts were missing and I was unable to put it together. Within minutes of sending an email, someone from AFA Stores called me back to help me. They sent a whole new piece and even called me when it was delivered to check in and make sure that all the pieces were there and that we were able to put it together. They handled an issue calmly and professionally. From start to finish my shopping experience with AFA Stores was great and I will definitely be ordering from them in the future. "

"I accidentally purchased a shelving unit that did not fit or look good in the space I had in mind. The representatives at AFA Stores went above and beyond to coordinate the return of the item I purchased as well as help me find the right shelf for this space. They were personabale and helped explain the return policy. I would definitely purchase from AFA Stores again in the future!"

Return Police is BS - don't use this company I think they are having major financial issues!

"I received 2 items out of no falt of my own and AFA refuses to give me a refund for one of them. They just expect me to pay for both items even though 1 I did not even accept the item that was sent in error.

Here's actual text from one of my many emails trying to resolve this:
"We paid for two dining chest, two freight cost to the trucking company and had to pay for the disposal of chest that you refused. We did nothing wrong."

So much for their guarentee return policy! I am acturally having to take them to small claims court to get this resolved. Luckly, I don't live that far from NJ but if you live far away, you are totally out of luck.

Bad Customer Service- damaged item

"I bought a chair in September. When it arrived it was damaged. I sent in pictures to customer support. They won't accept the item back and refused to send a new one. They said they would fix it, but now say they won't pay estimate. I've called and emailed many times, but no final answers yet. I would never buy from this company again!"

Great service when I purchased a 4 pc. Broyhill sectional

"I was very leery about about purchasing furniture online. I contacted several different online resellers who said they had the furniture.
I had several questions about delivery and to confirm that I could get a right side chaise instead of a left side chaise as shown in the online pictures. I called several resellers and couldn't get through, got stuck in voice mail, no one would call back, etc. When I called Eddie at Afastores,
I spoke to him on the phone and he called me back with the answers right away. Once I placed my order, I received an order confirmation saying my furniture was shipping in 3 - 4 business days. I was provided the delivery service contact information and was able to follow up on the delivery. The delivery company contacted me in advance and the morning of the delivery. The delivery men brought in the furniture, took it out of the packing and set it up. I was very impressed with the process.

Exhausting and full of regret

"I was hesitant to order from AFA Stores and to buy furniture online but I took a chance given the price and style of the table I was looking for. I bought the Donny Osmond Florence table designed by Coaster. My initial table top was defective and the wood shrunk. Making a very large gap in the wood. I sent pictures to scale, several more upon request, and was offered $123.99 (for a table that is over $700 with tax) or a new table top. I took the new table top. The replacement table top is worse! A huge gap on both sides of the table appeared after only a week of assembling. I contacted costumer service again and have heard nothing in two weeks. I will try to reach the manufacturer directly (Coaster). Maybe I will get some help. Perhaps AFA is selling less that quality products at a discounted price for a reason and they were never a bridge between the manufacture and I in the first place. Very skeptical. Very disappointed. Buyer beware. Of AFA’s poor customer service and Coaster products. Less than quality products for a hefty cost. "
