"I bought a canon camera online. Store called next day to "confirm order" and try to get me to buy expensive accessories. I declined and they emailed me the next day to say camera was out of stock and I would have to wait 14 business days. This came and passed and they claimed it was still out of stock. I ordered it elsewhere and cancelled my order at ajrichard. I called to order a same camera at ajrichard that same day and they assured me it was in stock and they would be glasd to take my order. they were never going to send that camera unless I spent enough on accessories to make it as expensive as everywhere else."

Are you checking on the delivery time to the customer, you should be upset I am! I am counting on this getting here for our trip to Botswana next Friday. I had hoped to be able to practice before then.

I got a call and email from Adam today, Oct. 2, clarifying that my package was sent by USPS and had cleared customs on Oct.1. The error was saying that it was shipped by UPS.
Adam handled the situation well and this leaves me happier but not extatic with the service from AJR. It is 18 days after I placed the order and I don't have the product that I understood to be in stock. I had a deadline that is fast approaching.
I am happier and changing my service rating but the damage has been done for this interaction and my trust has been affected.
