"If you want a product from Ajrichies in a hurry forget it. That is unless you don't mind paying extra add-on fees. What they don't tell you is that in addition to expedited shipping you have to pay an additional fee for UPS shippping/insurance. Even when you go through the on-line check out they do not mention this fee. It is not listed in your grand total on your order form. What they are really doing is making sure they speak to you by phone about your order so they can try to sell you accessories for the item you ordered. This is when they tell you about the $40 UPS fee that you have to pay in addition to the expedited shipping fee that I selected. Everything with this company is carefully planned. They may seem like the lowest price on the internet but BEWARE. I cancelled my order on principle alone. I choose not to deal with a company of this character."
"Ordered a Canon camera on 07/25/2012. Website says, "ships in two business days", but of course I knew it would be several days before it arrived. On 07/31/2012, I called because I noticed the $$ had not been deducted from my account. They told me they were processing my order. The evening of 07/31 I received an email stating, that there was a problem with my billing and they had to speak with me before they could place the order (they also stated they had tried to contact me). My primary number given was my cell phone... THEY DID NOT CALL THAT NUMBER. My secondary was my business line, which they called (listed as my alternate number). They also did this at THEIR closing time, so of course I could not contact anyone back until the following day. On Wednesday 08/01/2012, I contacted them in the a.m., stating it was my understanding there was a problem with my billing. The person on the AJRICHIE line, stated "oh yes, we have your order here. The camera battery that comes with the camera only has a 30-minute life......" and proceeded to try to sell me a camera battery that costs 3 x more than I can get elsewhere. I said, "no thank you", wherein they tried to sell me something else. On the third item (which was the extended warranty), I stated, "please tell me you DID NOT HOLD UP MY ORDER to try to sell me more things!" He continued to try to sell me the warranty. I stated I would get the warranty from Canon directly. He stated that would not be possible on that particular camera. I IMMEDIATELY canceled the order, as I was ticked off that they held even processing my order, just to sell me additional accessories. If I wanted them, I would have ordered them. They lied on the phone message and the email, stating they could not process my order because of a billing problem. I am VERY disappointed. I hung up the phone, placed an order at a local retailer for store pickup, and in less than 30 minutes had my camera in hand with a 3-year warranty. "

"Hello everyone... I, like everyone else was sooo happy to have save some cash by ordering my Nikon D5100 from AJ Richies less than a year ago, I even got the upgraded warranty to a 5 year one, just to find out after taking my camera to the NIKON repair center in El Segundo California,that AJ Richies is selling what they called (and I did not know) GREY MARKET, basically, they warranty is not good at all...you can not send it to be fixed to the manufacturer store (in my case NIKON)...so pretty much is a good product that you buy at your own risk. They fail to mention that little detail when they are pushing you to buy the "5 year warranty" for your camera... an $89.00 dollar warranty that you really do not need because like NIKON representative explained to me, they DO NOT offer that service...and they explained that they can not even touch my camera since it was bought in the "GREY MARKET". I called AJ Richie's to ask them about this "little" factor that they fail to mention, and I spoke to "Tom" who keep on sending me to a different extension (aka, recording) where it says to leave a message and "THEY" will call you back... this is my 8th attempt to speak to someone other than a recording...so far no luck... If I knew about the "GREY MARKET" factor, at least I would've not had gotten the warranty and taken my chances with the camera...
