"I seem to have the same story as most of the customers. The camera that I received was in a generic box did not have a warranty card and the battery that they upsold me is not much better than what came with the camera. I tried to contact them to follow their return policy and get a return authorization number. I was transferred to a line that had a full mailbox no one would pick up the phone. I contacted visa and advise them of the situation and they gave me my money back. Now AJ Richies has to contact me to get their products sent back to them. I am waiting for that phone call. Just in case none of you realize that you do have great protection through visa especially dealing with companies like this. Stay away ! ???? toxic
To follow up with this situation, I finally got transferred from their automated service and was able to leave a message stating that I wanted a return authorization number. I did not receive any email or phone calls telling me that they were going to provide the number. Two days later the UPS guy shows up at my door to collect the camera. I think that it is pretty bad that they couldn't even call me so that's why I'm questioning all the wonderful service prior posts that have posted. Visa advised me to let UPS take the camera and they would block any further charges from the company including their so-called restocking fee. What a mess this whole thing was. Visa was very good through this whole process. They have great protection and customer service. I can't imagine how bad it would have been if I would have paid with a money order or check. This nightmare would be continuing if I hadn't used Visa."
"I had an excellent experience with Ajrichies. This is the first time I have ordered from Ajrichies and I appreciated the excellent customer service. I spoke with a representative on the phone and he explained everything to me: battery pack, memory card, etc. He offered me a bundled package and discussed the pros and cons of what was the most cost effective. I would definitely purchase something from Ajrichies again.

"After dealing with Ajrichies customer service department instead of someone from sales, I've retracted my original review. George was very helpful in dealing with my issue, and went above and beyond to help make it up to me. As far as the sales team, they're pretty pushy on selling things that you don't need, and please do your research before "upgrading" to an expensive battery that is identical to the one that comes with it.
Overall, the prices are in fact better than most, just be careful not to get sucked into buying something that you don't want or expect. Shoot for the USA models with warranties, not the gray-market refurbs that are sold as is. Be firm, and if there is a problem, customer service will take care of you.

"I was disappointed with the service. I ordered a camera on 6/29/12 and had to make several calls to try to get the camera shipped prior to me leaving on vacation 7/17/12. I called 7/13/12 and I don't believe it had been shipped yet. The customer service person said I should have it Monday. I didn't receive it Monday and called back in. Then I was told it could be rerouted to San Francisco to where I was going. I gave you the address and was told it would be there Friday. A UPS note was placed on the door Thursday that they tried to deliver but we wern't home. I called UPS and had to make trip to regional center to pick up package 16 miles away.
I just dont know why it to so long from time of order to receive the camera. I lost time getting used to the camera prior to going and 2 days worth of video I could have shot in San Franciso by not having the camera.
I run a business to and know things happen but I made a least 4 calls to you on in which one call you up sold me a extended life battery but still you couldn't get me the camera on time.
I hope someone reads this and it helps someone else down the road.
