"My husband & I ordered a Coolpix Nikon. We received a defective product on 6/13 & we have been trying to contact AJRichies since then and no one answered the customer service line. We left three messages and also sent an email. No answer. We simply want to get in touch with a customer service rep and get the authorization number so we could return the item. Their website states that we have two business days to report a defective item and we want to make that we are in compliance. David, Morris...if you are reading this you can still change our experience with AJRichies around. Thanks! For now we are disappointed.
Update #1: We got a sense that AJRichies want to turn things around. We received a call from David and he has been very responsive and determined to turn us into satisfied customers which we really appreciated. My husband had a nice conversation with him during which he promised to make it easy for us to return the defective product and get our full refund. We will update this post again as soon as he makes good on his promise.

Update #2: So far so good. David has done exactly as promised. He made it easy for us to return the product and sent us a small consolation gift for our trouble. Just as promised. And it all happened within the week.
I do now believe that this company is trying to do the right thing. David also gave us personalized attention by following up with us to ensure us that we were in good hands. This goes a long way.
Now all we are waiting for is our refund to be posted.

"I received my 2 Lumix ZS-20s today, ahead of schedule but not without a lot of aggravation. The price was outstanding, and if you're a laid back type of person, you probably wouldn't have a problem waiting and wondering about the status of your order. You might also not care that both cameras were the same color even though you'd ordered 2 different colors.
Unfortunately, I'm used to amazon.com's accuracy, customer service and tracking, where I know the status of my product, if it's been shipped and where it is enroute to me.
AJRichies does not promptly e-mail you when your order has shipped. They don't seem to know internally either, as I called them yesterday and they said my product hadn't shipped yet. Today I received order tracking information just a couple of hours before my shipment arrived. So, while I ordered on June 4 and my credit card was billed June 6, I didn't get tracking information until June 13, the day I received the product.
Their phone lines are maddening; you are put on hold multiple times when you call and you need to keep track of names of people you spoke to. Their process of taking and shipping orders could really use some work...as you might see when looking at other reviews online. And when you call, they do try to push accessories on you by claiming the product requires them. I knew mine didn't and stood my ground.
Many of the products you might buy from AJRichie are grey market, while they are not an authorized dealer for others. Know what you're doing before you press the order button.
Would I order from them again? Only with a really meaningful discount, say 15-20% below other businesses. That can make up for a fair amount of aggravation."

"The company offers a fair market price for Canon s100 digital camera. It took a eight days to get the item shipped and two phone calls. They seem to require personal contact with a sales rep. to complete the order and then delay the shipment for a few more days after charging your account. Not sure the delay is worth the savings ($20-30) over ordering from other retailers. They tried to sell me accessories at a high cost when the options for those accessories are numerous. I had to call to get an order number which was not included on the invoice."

"RIP OFF ALERT!! BEWARE!!! I placed an order on 5/26/12 for an $860 camera, including expedited shipping, which was to be a gift for my son who was turning 21. The reason it was so important is that he has a life-threatening auto-immune disease and the fact that he made it to 21 is something to be celebrated. Due to hospital bills, I had to shop for a best price and got sucked in like so many others. All the email addresses they provide on their website are bogus so I cancelled my order by phone after the birthday had come and gone with no camera. I bought the camera for a specific event the event came and went and no camera...thus no pictures from the graduation. I was very angry.
