"Price was excellent. Information for sales group was a little lacking. I called on three separate occasions, spoke with three different individuals, and received three separate stories regarding order/shipping status. On the first two I don't think the individuals actually looked anything up. On the last call - the individual actually put me on hold and when he came back he provided me with what turned out to be correct information. According to website the item "should" ship in 24-48 hours. I placed my order on 5/28/12 and it shipped on 6/8/12.
It wasn't until the third call that I was informed the item was not in stock and had to ordered from the manufacture.
The customer service team could use a lesson in customer service."

"Awful experience. AWFUL. Terrible customer service. Placed on hold for 15-20 minutes each time I called. Still doing the post-sale hard sell for worthless accessories. Products say new on website, but believe me they are gray market crap. My "new products" came in a plain white box with aftermarket printed "Canon" stickers. If they didn't already have my money, then I would go somewhere else and pay $300-$400 more. That's how much of my time they have wasted. On hold right now - AGAIN - trying to get them to send me the lens hood that was supposed to be included with my "new" lens. Whatever.

Free stuff arrived. One of the original problems I had was that they forgot to include the Canon lens hood with my $900 lens. THEY SENT ME A ZEIKOS RUBBER LENS HOOD. RUBBER. Got a call from David at AJ Richies after last post. Real professional: He started raising his voice and informed me of lots of things such as "when I listened to the recordings" - WHAT? So they tape everything without telling you. And by the way, lens hood that was supposed to be included - wasn't and I won't ever get it. If I could give them a 0 star I would. Worst customer experience I think I've ever had. Oh well, life lesson. You get what you pay for. Never again. Buy from real companies. "

"Okay folks, here it goes,,Around May 25, 2012 I ordered a Nikon D3200 from AJRichies. I discovered AJ Richies web sight by accident while looking on ebay. I noticed that the web sight was very professional and I also noticed that the camera was at a very good price. I decided to call the number on the web sight and spoke to an individual by the name of David. It seemed that I had thousands of questions. David was very patient helpful and assisted and answered all of the questions that I raised to him and he made me feel really good about my decision on the camera that I wanted to purchase. I felt good about the phone call so I decided to place my order while I was on the phone with him. Yes he did recommend me purchase additional items for the camera and I wanted. I told him everything I wanted and he said I could get a bundle deal with more items much cheaper than the items I was inquiring about. I purchased the camera along with the bundle package. David stated that he would send me a confirmation via e-mail in the next couple of days, I waited and never got the e-mail, so I called. I ended up speaking to someone in customer service who assured me the package was mailed. And then another site caught my eyes, I can't remember which sight, but it showed some negative reviews about ajrichies, needless to say, I nearly panicked after reading them. Since I had not received a tracking number or anything, I decided to call back and inquire again. I spoke to customer service at which time they gave me a tracking number. I put it in the ups tracking system and was informed that the package would arrive on 6-6-12, well it did not, it arrived on 6-5-2012 one day earlier than expected. Everything I ordered was in the box, there were no gray market items all the paperwork and manuals arrived, warranty information, etc. I am extremely pleased with my purchase, the customer service was outstanding and I will be purchasing additional items from ajrichies.

"I ordered a Leica camera and accessories as a Mothers day gift. The total order was for over $1000 which was charged to my Visa card. I preferred using AmEx but was told that lightning had struck the AmEx machine and it was broken. I received " expedited shipping ".When I asked what that means I was told 2-3 days. When the order did not arrive for Mothers Day, I called and was told it took 2-3 days at the warehouse and then 2-3 days en route and it should arrive within 2 days. When it didn't arrive, I was told it had been drop shipped directly from Leica and would arrive on Wed. When it didn't arrive, I was told it had been shipped by UPS, would take 7 days and that I would receive tracking info from UPS and it was scheduled for Fri delivery. I never received tracking info. Meanwhile I needed a camera for a function, and had to make other arrangements. I had asked that the order be cancelled by email twice but received no reply. Since I had no response to my emails and was put on " terminal hold" several times by the Billing Department at AJ Richies. I refused the order when it finally arrived by UPS. The accessories never arrived. That was 17 days ago. I have been told a refund takes 7-10 day. I have sent 4 emails inquiring about my refund. Today I waited on hold an hour for the Billing Department but never got through. I called back 3 times and was connected to a line with a recording that said the " mailbox was full.
Needless to say, I am extremely disappointed in AJ Richies, including the inaccurate estimate of delivery date, the lack of response to multiple emails, the inability to reach the " Billing Department " and the slowness of obtaining a refund. I will never deal with this company again and suggest that potential customers should use another source when ordering photographic equipment online
UPDATE: A few minutes after I wrote this, I finally reached a nice Customer Service rep named George by telephone. He already had access to this review and I retold him my story. He apologized for the confusion about delivery times for my order, and poor communications regarding my order, and I have been issued a full refund by AJ Richies. I have rated Customes Service as fair because I have spent hours on the phone trying to get through and many of my emails were not answered, but George gets 5 stars! Thank You, George. "
"Don't buy anything from these scammers. After purchase I realized how they overcharge for accessories; you can read that on 100s of critiques on the internet. Their $90 battery didn't work and the free accessory pack with tripod wont hold an SLR camera. When I complained they said the accessory pack was free, as if that makes a difference. Then they said they'd send me some instructions for returns, which they haven't. Do the research and get your photo stuff at a well known and highly rated company."
