"Shady. Just know that you are ordering Gray Market Products. No Warranty. No Canon/Nikon support AT ALL. Menus are in Chinese (mostly) and can not be changed to English. Shady. They will of course try to sell you the American models for basically what you would pay at a more reputable online retailer. Buy from a more reputable retailer! However, after waiting for three days for my order to ship, I inquired via the email address, and then was called by someone who wanted to up-sell me with a bunch of accessories that I didn't want. I ended up getting accessories to get the free fast shipping, because after the delay in processing, I needed my camera more quickly. After spending extra money, FIVE DAYS later, and nine after my original order, the in-stock camera still hadn't shipped. I had to call, and then it was shipped immediately, but I think the amount of effort that I had to put into getting the camera here in time for a trip was unnecessary."
"Placed original order on 4/30 and heard NOTHING for several days. Then received a phone call and was told that the camera I had ordered was "grey market" and did not come with a US warranty, even though the website made no mention of this ANYWHERE. So I "upgraded" to the one with the US warranty for another $100 and then waited for over a week for an order confirmation email that NEVER came. Called 3 days in a row to check on it and kept getting told that I should be receiving the email that evening. Finally received a "ready to ship" email on 5/9 (yes, a week and half later!) and received the camera 5/10. Box smells strange, but everything I ordered did come finally. If you want your product QUICKLY and without "hassle", DON'T order from AjRichie.com!!!

"It was 6 days from the date they told me the order had been sent to the warehouse before they shipped the order. Prior to shipping, they phoned me and tried to sell me all sorts of accessories, increasing the cost substantially. I definitely would have preferred they not call unless there was a problem with the order - no calls for up-selling, please!
In all, it was over 2 weeks from my placing the order to actually receiving it with standard shipping. The items were well packed and arrived safely via UPS as specified.

Gave a call, spoke with a representative after some 15 mins of calling, the order was confirmed. It again took another 1-2 days to ship the products which i consider to be very slow, spoke with the representative again and the order was expedited. Got the camera today also with some freebies like a table top tripod etc. I would have been much happy if it was delivered within atleast 5-7 days of placing the order. "So far, I'm not thrilled. I ordered a camera with expedited shipping, and when I received my confirmation email, it had the following sentence in it: Orders can take 1-3 business days for processing time. If you wish to have your order expedited, please contact us at ***-***-**** during normal business hours.
So I called and got to a salesperson who was courteous, but when I let him know I paid for and was expecting expedited shipping, I was told that "our AmEx cable had been cut and it may take a few days before we can accept AmEx again!" What?? This immediately smelled bad and I thought it was just a way to get around paying AmEx their fees. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to waste so I gave them my Visa #, and then the salesman started selling! He first let me know that the camera I bought doesn't come with an SD card or one that's not fast enough for the type of camera it is. He was telling me that the quality of the card can dictate the speed of the shutter, which I found very hard to believe. While speaking to him on the phone, I Googled this and found out that these HD SD cards are a scam and that they're not really needed to operate the camera successfully. And then it was the weak battery that comes with the camera only works for about 20 minutes, and that I should be getting at least a battery that'll last 2 hours if not the 4 hour one. Then it was the extended warranty, that actually was the best deal of all of the add-ons, which they added 2 years to (for a total of 5). I am thinking that this is the way this company operates and that this slimy technique is the way they do business. I ended up getting the 4 hour batteries, the extended warranty, but not the super-fast HD accelerated SD card, which he came back at the end and still tried to make a deal for, but again, I didn't go for it.
Also, beware...because if you choose any expedited shipping, they (he said UPS) automatically adds $20 for insurance purposes, which he didn't disclose when giving me the total.
Suspicious? Absolutely, at every turn! I'm expecting my camera by Friday of this week and I will write back with a report as soon as I receive it.

Alright, it's now Monday, 5:45 pm (PST), the day after I placed my order (for expedited shipping), and I just received the following email:

So it obviously didn't shipped today, and I can't tell from this email if "shortly" means that it'll ship tomorrow, or ?? I don't even know if my camera is in stock and ready to ship!

UPDATE: Saturday morning. I received the camera yesterday morning, and everything is in good, (new), working order! I ordered it on Sunday night, paid for "expedited shipping", and received it on Friday.
I still didn't like that I had to call after I placed my online order to make certain this went out expedited, which gave them their opportunity to upsell me on everything possible, which turned my $419 camera into a $609 sale, (and that's without the SDHC card, which I was able to purchase locally by a reputable camera store at a cheaper price).
I am changing my rating from 2 to 3 stars because aside from the negative "car salesman-like" quality of upselling, the product did arrive when they said it would.

"It was nice to have a person follow up the next day to review my order. It was annoying when I was informed of a hidden charge that completely offset what I initially perceived as a discounted price on my purchases.
In recognition of this issue the sales person tried to interest my in comparable item that cost less. When I am emailed an invoice, I expect for it to include ALL charges.
The live follow up is obviously a tactic put in place to do damage control for the hidden delivery/insurance fee and an opportunity to boost sells on items that aren't necessarily beneficial to the customer. My expectations exceeded the service and discrete haggling.
However, I was able to reach customer service reps fairly easy by phone. "
