After posting this review, I received an email from Gene,... says he is the manager and was inquiring about the negative review and wanted to see if there was anything he could do to make things right. He said he would be willing to issue an $85.00 credit to my credit card if I would revise my previous review while he had me on line. I asked for a confirmation email regarding the credit and here is what he sent along with a Confirmation number:

BUYER BEWARE!!! Proceed with caution!! These folks are scam artists and need reported to the New York State Attorney General's Office for fraudulent business practices! This type of practice should be illegal! There was no easy way for me to explain to my husband how I got so dooped, so badly by the Ajrichies customer service dept!! If you just HAVE to be foolish enough to place an order with them,.. Proceed with caution and do NOT call them until your order has been shipped!! This was my first purchase at Ajrichies.com. I purchased a Sony Cybershot 16.2 Megapixel camara that was on SALE for $319.95. The only reason I bought the item there and not at ________ or __________, was Ajrichies had the item on sale and I thought I could save 20.00. Anyways, I went through the checkout. My credit card charge had been approved INSTANTLY and then several days later Ajrichies sent me an e-mail stating that if I did NOT contact them to confirm my credit card charge that my order would be canceled. Needless to say I made my second mistake by calling them to confirm my order. Their customer/sales rep was a fantastic and deceptive sales person!! He convinced me that I NEEDED additional and special items that I would NOT be able to purchase at _______ or _________. I ended up being deceived into buying an additional $160.00 worth of accessories from them that I did NOT need!! I checked and I now KNOW that I was wayyyy overcharged!!! There was no easy way for me to explain to my husband how I got so dooped, so badly by the Ajrichies customer service dept!! I feel sooo stupid to have fallen for his sales pich! I will never again purchase from this retailer and can NOT ever recommend them! SAD. Very deceptive way to run a business,... they will not be in operation much longer if this is how they continue to run their business! I will post bad reviews for this company,... EVERWHERE!!! "

"This will sound like a broken record of the other negative reviews, and it is my fault that I should have done better research before I placed an order... Placed an order for a Canon 7D on 12/30/11. Went through the confirmation calls as everyone has stated. I did not get a very hard sell on accessories, but the confirmation person did walk through them. I said, No, to all of them.
Got the email that it would be 14 days before the camera would ship from the warehouse, and I could reply CANCEL. I called and talked to the rep. He was polite and said it might ship sooner, but there were also other options I could consider. I again said, No, to them.
I then did the research I should have done in the first place, and found the notes on this repeated pattern. But, I gave them the 14 days (and then some), called back and got the still not in, check back next week response. Not wanting to have to go through the arguing that others had done with the company's mgmt to get their order shipped, I canceled.
I figured that it wasn't going to be worth the money I could save on the purchase to have to worry about the quality and service after I got the camera. "
"Very easy and friendly to deal with. The camera I ordered was in stock, and was delivered right on time.
The camera was new, with U.S. warranty and packaging.
There was a promotion when I ordered that included a second lithium ion extended power battery. When I received my order, the second battery was not included. I e-mailed customer service to inform them of this. To be honest, I expected to hear something in a few days; I got a reply within one hour. The extra battery was received a couple of days later.
In short, I couldn't be happier with my order. I would order again from Ajrichies.com, and would recommend them based on my very positive experience."

"I placed an order for a Cannon T3i with kit lens. The website says it's in stock. After verifying billing. I got an email back telling me that it would take 14 to 21 days to get the camera. Over a week after I placed the order the camera still had not been shipped.
Update: I got an email from customer service so I called and spoke to a guy named Steve. He explained that the camera was "oversold" and that customer satisfaction was very important to them. He said they where expecting a shipment by the end of the week and that I would get a tracking number when it ships along with a free extra battery. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt so I added an extra star for customer service.
Update: Camera arrived as promised. I bumped the review up to 4 stars because they made good on the deal."

"Ajrichies.scam is a better name for their website. Here's what happened with me.
Ordered a Canon Vixia camcorder. This camcorder is in stock and available everywhere online. Ajrichies had the best price online. Ordered online 1/10/12. The website says 1-2 day to ship, but the confirmation email says 1-5 days to ship. After ordering, I decided to read a few reviews of Ajrichies. Some were positive and some negative. The few negatives I saw complained of the long delivery time and pushy upselling. Since I wasn't in a big hurry, I decided to see the purchase through to get the good price.
Five days later on a Sunday, I got an email on 1/15, titled "Left Message" and asking to further verify billing information and said to call customer service. The email also said that If they did not hear from me, my order would not be able to be processed.
I have never had a online retailer do this. And why the subject title "Left Message". They never tried to call me. Since it was Sunday when I received the email, I called them the next day 1/16/12 and confirmed my billing info. It turns out that they didn’t really want to confirm billing (they never asked once about credit card or billing info) but just wanted to sell me some overpriced accessories. I said “no” to everything. I asked when I would be receiving my camera and they said they will processing it and it should ship within 2 days. The call took 15 to 20 minutes with much of that time on hold. I talked to 2 people and both were unprofessional and rude. They knew nothing of my growing issues with the company. I simply answered their questions and asked about the time frame of shipping.
So a couple hours later the same day, I got an email stating that it was going take them 14 -21 business days to ship the camera. And if I want to cancel the order, just reply with to the email with “Cancel”.
Still I decided to see this through thinking I'm not in that big of a hurry. Now 5 days later on 1/21, I've decided to cancel my order. My decision came after reading further reviews about Ajrichies. There are a tremendous amount of negative reviews. It is clear after reading only are few pages of reviews that Ajrichies is selling grey market cameras. (I could give you chapter and verse, but that is against Resellerratings.com policy) Take the time to read the reviews. There are people who bought a camera thinking they can register it for the full US warranty, but can't because the camera is grey market. Read the reviews. Ajrichies has admitted to selling grey market products. Now maybe selling cameras like this are not their standard practice, but why risk it. I wouldn't be very happy paying full price and receiving a grey market camera.
I DON'T WANT ANY PART OF THIS. Today I cancelled my order per their instructions. What a headache. Who needs this? There hadn't better be a charge on my card.
If you're considering ordering from Ajrichies, my recommendation is to stay away. Don’t waste your time. It's not worth it."
